Roivann
Some do. I swear, in the Sniper round (Wave #3?) of Secret Apo, there's at least one trickster with a wyrmslayer. That is an incredibly specific scenario.
Airship Canon
That is an incredibly specific scenario. Wyrmslayers and Beastkillers aren't as rare as they're made out to be. Heaven forbid you actually do L+ Skirmishing or something like that.
Czar_Yoshi
Lunatic+ Skirmishes without DLC are no joke and gave me a serious amount of respect for Spotpass Zephiel. However, I do find Beastkillers to be easily the more common of the two.
FeFish
What i do is A rank Lucina until I get Aversa and get the best Morgan ever (w shadowgift).
Czar_Yoshi
Shadowgift is only good in specific scenarios and all of them can be just as easily pulled off with Micaiah or Katarina though. Moreso, actually, because it's primary use is cheesing certain DLC to get mighty things with which to trash maingame with minimal grinding, and by the time you have Shadowgift Morgan, you're strong enough to get those normally. tuvarkz
TBH You can do lunatic+/Apotheosis Secret rounds while marrying MaMU to whoever you want to.
shadowofchaos
if the run in non-competive than it doesn't matter who you marry. For a competitive run anyone is fine it just depends on your asset/flaw. Personally i choose Olivia,Sumia,Lissa or Cordelia. "Competitive" "Single-player game"

Personally i choose Olivia,Sumia,Lissa or Cordelia. If by competitive, you mean StreetPass, then I'll just say this: StreetPass teams will never "win," per se. The best they can do is be a bit of an annoyance, or cost the player receiving the StreetPass a bit of gold recruiting your unit. StreetPass teams will barely ever manage to get kills, due to the fact that they won't pair up (giving a strong advantage to the player, who can and will use pair ups), and the game's AI won't really be good enough to outsmart a human player. Additionally, even if a StreetPass team manages to get a kill, 99.99% of the time (due to studies I've just pulled out of my ass), the player will reset their game.If by competitive, you mean postgame, no matter who the Avatar marries, his or her children will turn out to be very powerful units regardless. Airship Canon
DLC Macaiah can't support anybody, but Morgan can support and dark magic is very useful on non-sorc units! Not really. By time you're getting SG Morgan, Dark's purpose is starting to wane severely. Waste is outclassed by Celica's, Flux sucks, Ruin is outclassed by Katarina's Bolt. Dark Magic pretty much sucks outside of Nos/AN/Mire. Nos and AN fall behind in usefulness in the postgame. Mire... support doesn't matter. DLC!Micaiah can get Hit+20 and whoever you have pairing up with yon mireturret can run Dual Support+ if that matters.
Shadow Mir
DLC Macaiah can't support anybody, but Morgan can support and dark magic is very useful on non-sorc units! You have a point, but I still agree with Czar_Yoshi - considering the fact I have to wait to marry until after chapter 25, as well as go through what's essentially an escort mission to get her (not really, but I bloody swear Aversa's AI is braindead), Shadowgift Morgan honestly doesn't sound like it's worth the trouble imo... Moira
On my first playthrough, I followed my heart and married Miriel. I wonder what that says about my personality?

It is really woth it! What I did is I just got a bunch of weak spot pass characters and went in with Chrom and Sumia and got Aversa in no time! Plus it's cute seeing Morgan trying to be a tempress XD.
Czar_Yoshi
DLC Macaiah can't support anybody, but Morgan can support and dark magic is very useful on non-sorc units! Morgan can support some units, yes, but she can't support Chrom and that's who you're often going to find her paired with. Usually you'll be flying to an unreachable place and mounting a siege, and deploying any other units will be a liability because they'll have to hide too. Even if she had supports though, they won't do any good. Without supports, Chrom gives +3 Lck right off the bat, 4 after promoting and a maximum of 7, which is easily enough (with a Tonic if necessary) to reach 100% AT without LB, something that could come in handy if Lunatic RaR3 is on your to-do list. Mire can't get Dual Strikes and they can sometimes even reduce the amount of HP you recover with AN, so they don't matter. It is really woth it! What I did is I just got a bunch of weak spot pass characters and went in with Chrom and Sumia and got Aversa in no time! Plus it's cute seeing Morgan trying to be a tempress XD. You don't get it- the issue isn't that you have to beat Aversa's Paralogue to get her, it's that you have to beat all 25 main chapters, then Aversa's Paralogue, then several maps to build support, and then Morgan's paralogue to get her, as opposed to clearing through Cht.4 and then either shelling out some cash (the Bullion(L) from Renown will do the trick) or beating CoY3. And by the way, of those non-sorc units, Shadowgift should only be used on three different classes- Dark Flier for sieges and DLC, Valkyrie for Rescue chains, and Dark Knight for more efficiently farming GG (DK can approach with Mire, then use Leif's Blade) or just getting higher Mov while keeping your defenses intact. That makes one of us. I'm not convinced Shadowgift is really worth all that waiting, hell, I think I'd be better off just marrying Emm if I wanted to wait that long to marry - she's much easier to recruit in comparison.
