Soledai
no Just more imbeciles, flailing mindlessly I've been at it for 2:30 hours I see. I'm sure you can resolve this matter without too much conflict. The ice has been broken, the dye has been casted. Aha, *the die has been cast. Alea jacta est. Perfect Infinitive Exitus
May I ask where you got that quote?caesar said "alea iacta est" (when he went over the border between gallia and italia even though he was not allowed to)which means "the die has been thrown" (but he still has not landed on the ground aka. is still in the air) Which means you've/he's done a unpredictable irreversable thing/desicion gr8
Julius Nepos
I learned it at some point in my youth. Any particular reason? It's just that I've never seen it written with a J. I always see it written as "iacta". So I was curious where you got the quote from. caesar said "alea iacta est" (when he went over the border between gallia and italia even though he was not allowed to) which means "the die has been thrown" (but he still has not landed on the ground aka. is still in the air) Which means you've/he's done a unpredictable irreversable thing/desicion gr8 I'm familiar with the history, thank you. It was just the spelling that triggered my curiosity.
Soledai
Oh, that was a typo. Granted, I have seen it with 'j' before. Edited March 20, 2015 by Soledai

Julius Nepos
Oh, that was a typo. Granted, I have seen it with 'j' before. J's were common in the Middle Ages and Renaissance (I believe), but afterwards they were dropped from Latin in favor of the ancient spelling that used I for everything. So it was strange for me to see a J in a Latin word. finally got some sleep =u= but i think i got a fever dream or something =~= Poor Shockmaster. Get well soon!
