Except it's not really worth doing the inputs compared to the fraction of a second needed to do a basic input unless you're zoning

it kind of leaves you at a frame disadvantage

except maybe for a DP version of Shoryuken but the range on that kinda blows in a game like smash

which fs is the normal one and which is the input one btw

Shinku Hadouken is done by FSing

Shin Shoryuken is done by FSing near an opponent

how would you even do a qcb in Smash

with a crappy stick

Yep, some attacks cancel into specials too, in the same way they do in SF.

Sadly this is all pretty much for show since the percentage system of Smash pretty much nullifies any use from it or attemps at full combo's.

you move your circlepad/analock stick in a qcb motion?

yeah well I think that in Smash that wouldn't work since you're not locked into facing your opponent

so you'd just end up turning around, I think.

doesn't smash have inputs that need you to input the opposite direction you're facing and won't be just you turning around and doing the front input tho?

also tonton did you get 2k2 um to work?

it works, i just can't start it normally (it crashes exactly when i would get the PRESS START screen)

starting it through getting a invitation to play from a friend works fine

EX Hadouken - 236B ( Quarter Circle Forward + B )

Shakunetsu Hadouken - 21236B ( Down to Down-Back followed by Quarter Circle Forward + B )

EX Shoryuken - 623B ( Dragon Punch + B )

EX Tatsumaki Senpukyaku - 214B ( Quarter Circle Backwards + B )

(They'll probably send you in the inverse direction of the one you're facing (as in, the wrong way) due to the input to compensate, granted that you do the input right.)

i assume it'll just work the same but also on ground

Edit: That's why characters have different back and forward aerials but only forward tilts and smashes
