Soledai Posted September 9, 2015 Share Posted September 9, 2015 I have not gotten to play the ALLTYNEX Trilogy but I've heard they are some of the best doujin shmups of all time. I've also heard it is inspired by rayforce, one of my favorite games. You should go play that too. I read that people said it was it was the best, it's not the impression I got from playing Kamui(Lol spoiled by Crimzon Clover). Though, during that era, I can certainly see how they say that. You might just prefer the bullet hell subgenre over the ALLTYNEX trilogy which i've heard is focused more on big hitboxes and dodging the "whole" pattern. I used to think that old shmups were going to be so boring but playing tatsujin, rayforce, and kyuuyoku tiger definitely changed my mind.
