And the voice acting still seems kinda bad-ish... Is it better or worse than FFX? So, yeah, I really need to know if it's worse than FFX (not X-2. That one is cool.). Tidus just exemplify everything that's wrong with FFX : He's a great comical character, but they wants to makes it a tragic hero. So, in the end, it just makes it absolutely unlikeable. (And that's why FFX-2 is better : They absolutely embrace the inner ridiculous of their world and decides to have fun with it.) I just rewatched the FFX ending recently (the Tidus scene), and god, that's terribad. And the English Voices makes at least 50% of it. (exaggerated exclamations, and tone deaf sentence everywhere.) The voice acting was good in FF13 I think, it was probably one of the few good things the game had going for itself. It's OK, honnestly. Not the best VA I ever heard (still not at Disgaea's level.) It's combined with the slightly awkward animations (Ah! Yuna imitating the wet doggie, in the ending.) and slightly bad scenario. It's a lot of little details that, separately, would be fine, but together feels absolutely fake. The music is perfect, though. But in a way, it makes it worse : The music alone can perfectly express the emotions of the scenes, but everything else stop the emotion for cmming. I cry every time I hear FFX OST (especially Zanarkand), but when I see it in game, it fells flat. FFX is a fancy box, wrapped in an expensive package, full of ribbons, and gold, and stuff.
