Like, I'm playing through a status hell chapter in a game that doesn't have restore staves and it's not frustrating the hell out of me because the statuses in this game can be worked around with some strategery. secondworld Posted February 29, 2016 Share Posted February 29, 2016 (edited) I guess it's just a difference in how I look at things, but when I see how inconsistent Xander's character and role in the story is(playing Conquest), I go straight to blaming the writers and story in general as opposed to the character. Maybe there's some bias at play here. Basically I think Xander is a fine character and I like him, when the plot isn't dragging him down. Conquest has done that with a few characters I've noticed.
