Werther probably would've been.

He's literally wojak from the 1700's.

I'd imagine a modern wojak spending his last few days on /r9k/ with >tfw no gf threads.

remind me to read werther and remind me to finish reading dorian gray

dorian gray is something else, from what i read

i was so salty that i couldn't enter my art piece that i started reading it

i think goethe was disgusted by the romance inspired by werther later on in his life

i would be too

Well, I did work outside in 100 degree heat today, and sweat is pretty salty...

Ouch. I swear it was around the same temperature here but at least I didn't have to work in that temperature. \o/

STILL

Oh. I went to Ein's place in hopes to take a suku family photo but then I lost a special suku plush so my day was ruined for the most part. But at least I got to spend the day with Ein so.

Yes dorian gray does sound very interesting

I finished canterbury tales and I got sick of middle english and now I'm reading crime and punishment and it's edgy

I like it quite a bit though. The protagonist is quite similar to muh werther too.

Goethe wasn't a huge fan of the romantic movement, I think he was a bigger fan of the classical movement of the late 1700's and thought the whole nationalism/romanticism to be a load of shit.

Especially with his obsession with greek shit and all.

People ended up associating him with people like Kant but he was like "meh I don't care."

maybe i'll start picking it up again, but i am too busy with literally everything. i wish i lived forever so i could consume every single video game and book ever made

canterbury tales? middle english does sound like a pain to read. is it like english that looks like it was written by a half drunk person

i've always wanted to read crime and punishment (because i liked persona 2 a lot, hit me)

goethe did nothing wrong, except for writing werther (which he regrets)

should have been obsessed with roman shit t b h, goethe you tasteless hack
