Said friend just recently was on vacation, so I was looking forward a lot to said event. He was the one to invite me, since I don't know anyone else at the place. So I asked him multiple times when to arrive. He didn't know when, so I just told me at which time I'll be heading out, hoping he'd be social enough to not make me waiting. Turns out he didn"t give a fuck about it since he was asked to go to the house of a girl he likes. And now he writes me that he'll be arriving in an hour. I just went home. As a bit of an ambitious person myself, having your opponent do that to you is worse than them utterly destroying you. It's very humiliating. At least when they crush you, you know they went all out.
