speaking of files where are tsukihime saves because i'm not seeing the files shin talked about in the game folder

O1hklBM.png

Same folder as the executable. (see that "save1.dat" there)

(btw that "gloval.sav" contains global variables, like what endings you've seen and stuff. and unlike the normal saves it transfers between versions)

At least, that's where they are. I'm pretty sure we have the same version, so IDK what's up.

Maybe they're marked as hidden? IDK since I'm not on Windows. :/

Procrastination and lack of communication is killing me

Sounds like it, man. It's either the best or the worst from my experience.

But hang in there buddy. You're tougher than it.

Found this in the readme:

Windows Vista does not allow any application to store or change files in their own Program Files directory, unless they are run with Administrator privileges. Instead, Vista will save all changes in the directory 'virtualstore' in your user directory (typically c:\users\USERNAME). Because each user is given its own virtualstore directory, all users will have their own save games and settings. If you do not want this behaviour, it is recommended to install Tsukihime in an unprotected directory instead. Note that Windows Vista is the only operating system showing this behaviour, normally all users share their savegames and game settings.

I don't think you're on vista, but check there maybe?
