Liz
i say she was a Cleric-->Valkyrie. what do you think?
Mufasa
She has to be. It wouldn't make sense if she was something else. Maybe the prequel (if it's ever made.) will confirm this.
Hibari
She has to be. It wouldn't make sense if she was something else.Maybe the prequel (if it's ever made.) will confirm this. She could be a priest. And a prequel would be nice.
DragonBladeSniper
She would go from Sister to Bishop in my opinion...

Florete
Why woud Mist be a valkyrie if her mother wasn't?
Liz
Why woud Mist be a valkyrie if her mother wasn't? this. and besides, cleric/valkyries represent the whole "balance" thing better than priest/bishops. personally, i can't see Elena being balanced AND being a priest. DragonBladeSniper
Why woud Mist be a valkyrie if her mother wasn't? It's not just because your mother/father is something that means you should to like Ike he became a Ranger then a Lord... then a Hero... like his dad... NEW EXAMPLE Roy wasn't a Lord like Eliwoo... NEW EXAMPLE Sue didn't become a Nomad like... Because she wanted a poney!

Liz
the thing is, being a cleric/valkyrie represents the whole "balance" thing. she has a bit of order, in which she heals people, and a bit of chaos, in which she slaughters people with her sword. priests are all about peace and whatnot, so they aren't balanced, methinks, they lean towards order Edited August 31, 2008 by Psyche Ridell Crimea
Florete
Ray is a shaman and his parents were an assasain and a sage. Don't get started on something like this. Besides, Lugh took up the sage stuff. Ray took the darker personality of his father.

He wanted Ashera to fused with Yune again to become balanced. Then when that failed he went more to the side of judgment.

xanatha
Well, she is some kind of healer, that is certain. I just checked the portraits from RD, and there she held a staff. I also compared the stones on top of the staves to be more confident. Elena - white stone Laura - green Mist - blue Rhys - blue And also, Sephiran had his special staff. Is there still any doubt? Hibari
...ok.... what do you mean by this? I'm just giving a counter point. Chancellor is pretty much priest with a different name. You claim that priests are on the side of order. But he wanted Ashera to be balanced by fusing with Yune. He even claimed that without Yune Ashera had begun to change. But Ashera was stubborn and refused to reunite, thus making the whole no great wars pact.

Chancellor: the chief minister of state in certain parliamentary governments, as in Germany; prime minister; premier Priest: a person whose office it is to perform religious rites, and esp. to make sacrificial offerings not the same. perhaps they may be similar in their weapon choices and mastery skill, but in function, they are very different. saying that they are the same is like saying pineapples and oranges are the same. they are fruit, but taste different. By your definition yes. However the way Begnion's pseudo-Senate is set up parliamentary regulation is nothing more than facade to convince its citizens with the illusion of their voices being heard. It was said that the Senators were viewed as chosen people of the Goddess, thus implying a more theocratic system with the face of a parliamentary government, more evidence being that their ruler is also called the "Apostle" and is said to be guided by the voice of the Goddess. I somehow can't help but feel we've gotten off track.
