Before that, it was "Leaf Army ~ In Search of the Victory ~ Base" (aka the player's map theme from the first few chapters (and a few more) from Fire Emblem Thracia 776. Honorable mentions go to: "Softly with Grace" from Blazing Sword "Against the Black Knight" from Path of Radiance "Dancing in the Sky" from Genealogy of the Holy War All boss themes from Fire Emblem Thracia 776 and more that aren't in my head at the moment... From FE10 I like: The Strong Zelgius the Brave Wisdom of Ages King of the Sky Wheeling Corby March of the Lion King The Mind of Izuka Comfort's Call The Devoted ...And lots of others. But as a whole, I like FE9's soundtrack better than FE10's. FE10 had some tracks I didn't like, but there's not a single track I dislike in FE9's soundtrack. Besides these two, I also like a lot of FE7's soundtrack and some tracks from FE8. A lot of what I listen to these days is FE. I really love the music. But there is only one song that really gets me pumped when I hear it: With Us! from Path of Radiance - also known as the recruit a new character song. I loved when I would get a new person and that song would flip on and it's just great. That's just a killer track and it's so rewarding because another person joins the game. Also, from FE7 I like 'Silent Ground' or whatever it was called, and 'Goddess of Dawn' from the RD credits. It made me cry, kinda. I love FE9 and FE10's soundtracks, though. For Against the Black Knight, I think I mostly like how it has powerful brass instruments and loud bells. Unstoppable Destiny's brass instruments sounded less powerful and more sombre, and the bells were just too quiet. EDIT: And to compare The Black Knight to The Black Knight Lives, I guess I like the initial quietness in The Black Knight, and how it then builds up masterfully. FE9 didn't have many that stood out, FE10 was a bit better though. Seisen had the best soundtrack overall I would say. I don't know the tune as anything other than "Together, We Ride", although I realize that it must have other names in FE1, FE3, SSBM/B, and FE11. Anyway, I particularly liked the FE3 book 1 and FE3 book 2 renditions of said tune. Then there's the Fire Emblem main theme. I thought I'd list my top five favorite renditions of it: 1. The Opera version from the Fuuin no Tsurugi soundtrack 2. The FE3 and FE11 title screens (both being pretty much identical) 3. The FE9 "rankings" screen 4. The FE8 title screen 5. The FE4 title screen I also liked "The Kingdom of Bern" from FE7. Actually, I don't think there's that much of a difference between it and its FE6 equivalent, but I haven't listened as much to the FE6 equivalent... I also like the music that goes with the opening sequences, such as "The Valiant" from FE8. I don't think that they're actually in the sound room in FE9 or 10, but I like them too. Something about FE9's tracks just fits perfectly with every situation and event in the game. I even adore Anna's theme in this game. I think its called Young Warriors. Other FE music I think are awesome are FE8 Eirika's route music - for some reason I hate the music in Ephraim's route The Devoted from FE10 My favorite track in the series has to be "Against the Black Knight" imo, the Black Knight confrontation in FE9 is the most dramatic and emotional boss fight in all of video games, and the music is a great contributor to why I'm saying this.
