Creating an animation

So I'm working on a fire emblem hack of FE7 and I wanted to have an animation in the game that i had made. So i made all the frames that i would need and now they're all done. I made the size of each picture 248*160 pixels and all pictures use the same colors and have a total of less than 16 colors. So now the only thing that i needed to do was insert the animation into my hack. I researched how to do it and i got the script. I changed the script so that the names in the script were the same as the names of my pictures and then i tried inserting the animations for my sprite and Feditor adv says "unexpected error loading or reading script". Can any body help me? What did i do wrong?

Here's the script

Well here are all the pictures (people, please don't use these for your own games now) and the new script.

I noticed a few errors with the names in the script so i changed them but it still doesn't work.

The names of the pictures are ordered in a picture. Don't ask why it just is.

I try inserting pictures one by one and it says that there are more than 16 colors but i've checked a lot of times and there are less than 16 colors.

I'm trying to replace lyn. Is it a problem if i'm using colors that are different from the palette that lyn uses.

First of all, i don't see any palette in the upper right hand corner. Make SURE you have all 16 colors in a 2 x 8 pixel format in the upper right hand corner with the transparent color (green here) being in the uppermost right corner.

Second of all, if you aren't using the program Usenti for this kind of work, you should be. It's designed for this kind of stuff and will tell you exactly how many colors you are using.

And no, it doesn't matter if the palette is different than the one that Lyn uses.

all that does is force the palette to get written to the ROM in a certain order

(it also makes it very easy to see if you're using the wrong color)

really? huh. I'm currently just parroting what the Ultimate Tutorial says (which worked perfectly for me)

Use this if you aren't already, starting at chapter 56: http://www.feshrine.net/ultimatetutorial/

so tell us how?

@Cam FEditor was written ages ago so it doesn't smart enough to try to put colours it finds in a certain order based on a previous frames. Pretty sure it's best to stick with the 2x8 thing.
