To avoid hotlinking you should always upload images you want to share to a dedicated image hosting site like imgur. It's easy to do, as imgur will let you convert the webpage links to imgur links by entering the url into their web upload option. For example: This is the image you linked to uploaded to imgur, no harm using img tags with. The reason you want to do this instead of hotlinking is because every time the page is loaded, it will load that image from the website you hotlinked from and cost them bandwidth. It's against the code of conduct on our forum, but it's not that big of a deal if you didn't know much on the subject until now. It's good to ask! Just avoid doing it in the future .
