The decision to visit was a whimsical one and needless to say, he doubted he'd be here long.... Until he, dare I say, became attached to the forest and its inhabitants. The youthful Emperor was some how convinced that these bonds he made were more than superficial ties that were made with the same whimsical attitude that brought him to the forest. Eventually, he was convinced to venture out from the forest with his companions. Much has happened in that long, taxing year. The Emperor met countless others who either made him laugh or smile, stole his innocence, and some that just gave him the strength to go on. So on this day, after the first year of trials with numerous more to come, that very same Emperor says thank you to the forest and its people for helping to make him who is his today. It is a naive admittedly, but he truly believes that deep down, this forest is a family. And as they say, blood is thicker than water, no? The Emperor would continue to watch this forest be fruitful and grow for just a little while longer... Thank you for the extremely interesting first year, Serenes Forest.
