Byakuren should run some IND-- for that. Vortex won't be able to erase its own debuffs :P

I did in fact give it an IND debuff (among others), as I was using Reisen alongside my magic users to deal damage.

It never failed to hit itself with Vortex under any circumstances. It sometimes failed to hit me, but even that wasn't reliable enough to pull some Alice shenanigans or something.

The new Garden of the Sun has fairies that can drop plenty of basic forging materials at pretty high rates.

Like I said, I got a million rocks and steel. Magic medals (which are what I would need to get by with just crafting), not so much.

I should try playing PCB extra sometime

btw gais, does failing at one of Kaguya's Last Spells your run can still be considered a NMNB?

To be quite honest, on Easy point items are so utterly worthless that you're better off focusing completely on survival for the endgame bonus. xD
Also keep in mind that if you want easy auto-collecting just for the [P]ower items, ReimuB's special ability is excellent. (However, her bomb is probably about as worthless on Easy as the point items are.)

yeah, i've been using her auto collecting power mainly for getting power items and those green ones, but also to get point items when the gauge is in about the 0.90 ~ 0.70 mark and i can't get a good graze or get to the PoC

Yes, since you don't lose a life for doing so.

Just like how a NMNB in PCB is still a NMNB even if you fail to capture a few spellcards by breaking borders.

try changing the frame skipping, that helped me before

Other than that, you could try seeing on any things taht might be slowing down your computer

Recording replays with OBS is annoying. I can't practice mode either, and my laptop is junk at fullscreening the emulators. That said, original Devil's Recitation is so beautiful... ;_;

Most likely, you can generate more items with this specific shot type compared to others, though I myself haven't compared to other shot types, by moving closer to the enemy.

Yeah, SakuyaB simply gets more. At reasonably safe distances from the enemies, the difference is pretty neglible, but if you go all-out and shotgun as many enemies as you can (bosses, in particular), the value of point items will go up pretty fast.

SakuyaB can pretty easily reach point item values of 120k or more by Stage 6, even on Normal.

Her bomb also notably increases point item value (basically, it forces the same effect to occur that usually clears bullets from the screen after a spellcard), but since it doesn't actually do any damage, SakuyaB has trouble actually utilizing that higher point item value - she usually has trouble killing all enemies that appear on-screen, and often can't safely approach the PoC to auto-collect items and receive the bonus multiplier.

Outside of Lunatic's absurd bullet densities, the other characters' advantages when it comes to actually collecting items usually outweigh SakuyaB's higher point item value, even when it comes to scoring.

Rewatching my MS runs, Shinki's Original Recipe™ Devil's Recitation seems absolutely ridiculous to try and attempt, the size of the area you're boxed into plus the trajectory of the purple bullets seems nigh impossible to traverse.

Homing cheetos are hella easy, though a small lapse in attention will get me killed.

Lack of Practice Mode is dumb, I cri evritim.

I want a translation already.

I've been trying to tell you this so many times...

Shinki's ones go on for too long. A lapse in attention will get you killed/make you bomb... multiple times.

I'm not sure if the emu has savestates but if it does, you can use those to imitate Practice Mode?
