the unfair challenge and artificially cheap AI is just practice for human players

...You have to dodge in all Touhou games.

Also I dislike that my favorite of the playable characters in that game (Lunasa) not only lacks a story mode, but requires beating freaking Extra just to use in matches.

yeah but I honestly think that POFV requires literally no memorization whatsoever. Every credit feels different which is awesome.

2hu characters suck anyway.

Probably because the first Phantasmogoria was the third game (therefore an integer because the entire non integer numbering wasn't a thing until IaMP).

Maybe.

(I wonder if hypothetical HRtP styled game would be a spin off or a main game)
