Guys, Hopeless Masquerade is broken for me.

For whatever reason it doesn't save, like at all, when I use the English patch.

That sounds like the HM folder is set to read-only. Try right-clicking it, go to Properties and check if the "read-only" box is checked. If it is, deactivate it.

Seriously, it's as if playing Lunatic for a while had completely destroyed my reflexes when it comes to bombing.

I ended up having to set Applocale to run as admin, and it started working.

Weird but yeh.

lol, I actually find her non-reversing spell (Reverse Bow) to be tougher than any of her reversing spells.

All of her reversing spells are also ridiculously fun and are definitely why I find her to be among the most enjoyable bosses to face in Touhou. Especially her last one, oh, yesssssss

Oh man. Reverse Bow. I hate that and the non-spell version of it.

I can inconsistently capture her horizontal flip spell, and i think I've captured her final spell once or twice, I'll just have to practice more.

Her reversing spells also traumatized me during my first encounter and I couldn't pick up DDC again for about three months

Isn't that what always happens? You get mad and you start having some trial by error, but then your skills wane because, dude, you've been playing the same game for like weeks now, and then you calm down and start getting better again.

I can inconsistently reach stage 6 in DDC, and somewhat consistently get to SEIJA, so I think I'm doing alright.
