Dandragon
After finally creating a mii after taking a photo of myself, and being quite surprised from the results, I wanted to ask this of the many SF users here who do have a 3ds. When you made the mii that was supposed to represent you, did you use the "create from photo" option? Or did you create it from scratch? Shinehollow
I created it from scratch.I prefer it that way.It makes me able to make myself from what I think I look like, and not what the 3DS thinks.
Esme
I used the "create-from-photo" option too.

Draco
Scratch > photo. The photo miis are so not cute. Basically this. I still have yet to get my own 3DS , but the Mii I made on my cousin's was from scratch; looked a lot better than the one from the photo. Unravel
I made mine from scratch. I like being able to create my own mii instead of letting the photo create it for me; I think the mii that I created myself looks more like me than the one that turned out from the photo too. Original Alear
I have never made a mii with the intent to have it look like me. My friends have though. Therefore, in every instance, it was made from scratch.
Garnef
I make it from a photo. Then I edit it. Makes things easier, since I'll get a basic idea of what I'm making.
