The Envoy of the Beginning
Super Ghouls and Ghosts is my hardest game I played. But I'm curious... Which game do you consider the hardest?
CGV
Sacred Stones Probably Majora's Mask (yeah i know, it probably isn't hard for any of you) Before I used the guidebook, I couldn't get past the first day or even figure out how to save it. And with the whole 3 days thing, it got a little difficult to time things
Not Changed by VASM :(
Donkey Kong 64. Me and my cousin spent YEARS playing that game.
Judge Judy
The Legend of Zelda and the Ocraina of Time. The reason, I was Six years old when I played this game and I had no idea what I was supposed to do Also it was the first Zelda game I ever played. Nightmare
Contra, Castlevania, Chakan, Gunstar Heroes, Revenge of Shinobi, Gradius and uh...some more games, I guess. Those are the ones that came to mind first.
Serene
It'd probably be either Phantasy Star II. Or Castlevania 64.
Ϲharlie
Contra: Shattered Soldier. Normally I can master Contra with some persistence, but this one kicks my ass every time. Getting a perfect rank seems nearly impossible to me. NetHack is pretty tough as well.
Admiral "Bull" Halsey
I don't find any games difficult at all.
HowAreYaBud
I don't find any games difficult at all. I wish I could say the same thing. The hardest game I've ever played would be...Ocarina of Time. I've been playing since I was like...7 and I still can't beat it.
Admiral "Bull" Halsey
I never played Ocarina of Time thats why I never have experienced hard games if this statement is true.
HowAreYaBud
I never played Ocarina of Time thats why I never have experienced hard games if this statement is true. If you've never played any hard games than your REALLY missing out.
Admiral "Bull" Halsey
I don't play games all the time. I'm sure I have something else to do. <_<
Nightmare
Wait what...Ocarina of Time is HARD? ............I take it you've never played REAL hard games. Go play some Contra and you'll understand what "hard" means. You'll look back onto your statement and laugh at yourself.
Admiral "Bull" Halsey
Geez I would but I don't have the time -_-
Nightmare
That was to all the people saying it was hard, not you. <_<
Admiral "Bull" Halsey
My bad, it sounded like it was mostly directed towards me.
Florete
Radiant Dawn is the toughest thing I've played lately, but definitely not the absolute toughest. Resident Evil 4's hard mode is pretty damn tough, I get stuck at every checkpoint. Ocarina of Time was only difficult because it was my first Zelda. Looking back, it wasn't really very tough. Hm... I guess I haven't played too many hard games.
Serene
I don't know if it's me or something else. But everytime I try to play a Halo on Legendary I get my ass tanked by the first Silver Elite that I see.

Wist
Playing StarCraft against Koreans is a beastly task. I believe Ikaruga is the most challenging of single player games I can recall having played, but playing StarCraft with a respectable degree of maintained efficiency is something that takes a huge amount of dedication and practice. Nightmare, how do the Gradius games compare to Ikaruga or R-Type? I have never played a Gradius title before.
¬_¬
I've only gotten up to the third level in Gradius III for SNES. It's difficult dodging because everything kills you in one shot. .-. But the upgrades are awesome. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=gRrt8sM0tpE Edited September 15, 2008 by Wil
uguu
Playing ANY VIDEO GAME against KOREANS OR THE JAPANESE MEANS YOU HAVE ALREADY LOST. This is what I'm gonna say is the hardest. I don't think that's true (that's not the case for Super Smash Bros Melee at least), but can definitely appreciate what you're driving at. Certainly StarCraft is to South Korea as table tennis is to China, but on an even more exaggerated scale.
