vilkalizer Posted March 17, 2015 Share Posted March 17, 2015 (edited) Sigh, was not expecting that to cause drama....I could definitely see animations getting a separate contest (preferably with a longer time limit, like monthly or even bi-monthly because these things take time) if a lot of people start making bigger ones, but it's probably not going to be necessary. I can pretty much guarantee that I, at least, will never post anything that long and involved again. I do think fairly minor animations are appropriate for this thread, even if most of the entries are single frames. Perhaps the rules should include the phrase "Published" to clear up any confusion? Or do people want to let Luchino's entry in anyways? ...need some feedback on this. >.< I agree with "published" - If you can point to a publicly released creation (be it game, book, or otherwise), then it would be valid, even if you are the original creator. (I trust no one would object if someone from Sonic Team showed up and actually sprited Sonic the Merc-Hog!) If it's a "something I'm working on that may or may not ever see the light of day" kind of thing, it's not appropriate for a crossover. He skipped Dark Dawn though, because it apparently decanonized his favorite pairings (that seems to happen to him a lot, poor guy...).
