Defender is good in any instance where you'd normally be using a Stat+2 skill (other than All+2) to hit a threshold, but doing so leaves you 1 over your target. Then you're sacrificing +1 in one stat you may not need for +1 in six stats you may not need, which is usually a good deal.

If you allow more staff bots you can rescue units in, keep them there for the combat rounds, and then rescue them out. That's probably the easiest way to apply hex/anathema. Of course, having Anathema alone is good enough for a support unit most of the time.

Sumia!Lucina!Morgan@Assassin has 55 base speed. +2 tonics, +6 pair-up, +4 barracks, +2 from +2 speed = 69 total speed, which is enough to double the super Berserker.

Does this have potential?

66 Spd would have more potential for being able to reliably survive an encounter with Anna. Going that all-out on Thronie will cost a lot of offense, making the improvement not as big as you'd think.

Spd+2/Defender/Vengeance/Bowfaire/filler.

It will outdamage it but you'll likely still need 3 or so pairs to take him down.

66 Spd won't help against NS since he's got a Brave Bow. You can't survive him even on NHB.

Also, you should definitely consider this probably should take awhile to do this (considering the things you don't want to do, and things you do want to do). Don't get too frustrated trying to find certain AT/Spd/Def values on specific units--sometimes you have to look outside the box and be unorthodox.

Even with Wrath, Anathema and DSp+ you'll only have 12 listed crit against 55 Lck enemies.

Ricken gives Nah Hit+20 which is a bigger boost than Underdog.

I kind of feel like you're going in circles dealing with the bottom half of your team, though- if you want to pull this off you'd get a lot more of a benefit from running a ton of battle calcs for the boss fighters. Don't just assume that like in NHB hitting a Spd threshold means the bosses will lay down and die for you. Figure out exactly what it takes to get rid of them.

If I ever run into problems in damage output, I'll just increase the Vengeance density in my team, that will solve the problem easily.

Problem: perfect Vengeance vs both Dragonskin and a Shield adds only +11 damage. It's how you'll want to solve those problems but it won't exactly do it easily.
