i know what he means when he says that project Z makes this look forgiving, i nearly forgot about it actually.

that hack was basically "lets design every map as a ragefest, but then not enter it as a ragefest, and then not take any criticism about its poor design by saying "we're just pretending to be retarded"

EDIT: if i remember correctly it also was filled with inside jokes (that noone outside of that fourm would get) and 4th wall humor, which moniker here already addressed the problem with that, as well as mean sprirted insults towards the player/the character that the player sympathized with cause everyone else was nearly unlikeable.

if i had to describe it, it'd be like a awful unfunny joke about dead black female babies, except it goes on for about 8 to 10 chapters before being canceled, i do not know it was canceled but i can only hope it was because someone on that team realized that they weren't making a good project and shut it down for that reason.

i know one of the last people to give that game criticism and talk to the developers was Markyjoe, maybe that had to do with it

it was definitely not the high life of that designing team.

I think a "dead black female baby" joke would be a better description for GhebFE, from what I've seen of it at least. Project Z is better described as "the world's worst pun spammed over and over".

But really, I think I should do a Project Z LP eventually, if only so we can get all the complaints out of our systems and stop ragging on it randomly occasionally. Of course, there's lots of better/more entertaining hacks to get to, so it probably won't be for a while.
