If you were stuck on a level for a long time but the music was good, would you still press on?

The BGM greatly influences it, yes. For me, I mean.

Like with Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number. Seizure is a pretty annoying level and the music, 'She Swallowed Burning Coals', is just as annoying, especially when you've been stuck on the level for 40 minutes. It was 1 of 2 levels in the game that I actually gave up on once. I still beat it eventually, though.

Demolition is tough but still a fun level. And NARC is my favorite song used in the game. Kept me going.

Death Wish is also quite a challenging level but Roller Mobster is arguably up there as one of the best, most upbeat songs in the game. It's wonderful. Release is also hard but Le Perv is great.

[spoiler=Here are the songs, if you're interested.]

It wasn't really the music in my case, it was the enemy I was fighting. :P In Hyrule Warriors, I would always have a lot of trouble beating Volga, but I kept trying to because he's such an epic badass. <3

It better be some awesome music. Like this -

(One of the best parts of Paper Mario: Sticker Star)

I don't recall this song at all. When and where the hell does it play?

Yes. It took me a week to get through the one section of FF13 because I didn't have a lot of time on my hands, I hated the track for that level, and Vanille was getting on my nerves in all the ways she possibly could.

Meanwhile there have been multiple dungeons that I take my time on just because the music for that level is <3. Usually anywhere that has snow.

I take my time on some levels when there's good music. Most of the time, though,I try to stay in combat just to hear the battle theme (Take Pokemon Ruby/Omega Ruby for example.Even with OR's lack of trumpets).

This has only been applicable once - I usually play with the sound muted. Somewhere in the middle of Agarest: Generations of War, there's a nice difficulty spike. If you've been sloppy with your unit placement and formation, you'll end up with a dead party. Several tries later, and said fight wasn't any easier. This was the battle theme:

You bet your everything that I went through each and every attempt with a giant grin on my face. The boss eventually died, and I rejoiced.

Yes, though I usually find good boss music to be more motivating than plain old level music, but I guess it still applies. Take the first wall I ran up against in SMT 4, the Minotaur- kicked my ass many times, but this theme kept me going until I finally beat him. It's awesome.
