momogeek2141
I think your Briggid is blessed, that strength Also you inspired me to do my own variation of a mountless run. I'm playing FE4RM though, so characters could dismount. The only mounts I am using are Sigurd and Finn, but they are dismounted most of the time. I don't know what the hell is wrong with her. It's capped BTW. I didn't even notice, she's more blessed than Ayra! In addition, Jamka is screwed too. I've set up a lot of expectation for gen 2 units, haven't I? Wow. What an honor. Thanks! FE4RM? Enlighten me. Also you suck you're using Sigurd c'mon be a man. I'm pretty worried about Gen 2 because there are a bunch of villages that you aren't getting to unless you use Fee. I updated the first page in regards to chapter 7. Both involve the use of mounts, Nanna specifically. With that said, let's continue! [spoiler=The one sided battle] Yeah, Deetva Pamela's going to join! Another one to kill! Wait...That's where Rahna is. And we can't help her! OH GOD! Don't worry, their formation becomes screwed up soon. Er...yay? Generic Pegasus knight battle? I guess it's better than the black knight roflstomping everything. Yeah this entire update is going to be the battle. I think. Go Mahnya! Oh yeah, Lach's going to have to run the hell away from Thove. Briggid's brother? ...Oh god. He's a bow user. Mahnya's screwed. Yikes! Here they go... The battle begins! Both squads are about equal, except for the fact that Pamela's uses Javelins whereas Mahnya's use Slim swords/lances. Pamela, you're dumb. The queen wants to fight, you idiot! ...You're lucky Fury can't promote. Pamela's like screw you lets fight. Mahnya ain't half bad! Very fast, but she's going to die. Adept is the class skill of Falcoknights. Pamela's not as good as Mahnya, but she's an enemy so she's guaranteed to live. I wonder what the dialogue would be if she managed to somehow die in this battle. Andre here is the problem. Every unit in his squad has a brave bow. Yay for double chances to one shot! Javelins are hard to dodge. Eventually, they kill Mahnya. Poor Fury. Please, I'm aching to kill something! Okay, let's go! Finally, Mahnya's squad sucks! Oh screw you Daccar. More axemen! Fortunately, Rahna tells the civilians to bail. HAHAHAHA GET REKT! Oh no. Not on my watch. This guy's an asshole. I hope he dies a slow, painful death. You look all weird and creepy. This is Lamia, a mercenary who Daccar hired. Now we get to fight two of these douchebags! Who can Blizzard the citizens! JOY! Fortunately, these civilians have some dodging power (THRACIA 776!!!!!) Here's the nifty thing about them: talking to them results in a free level up. At first I was considering allowing Sigurd to get some but then I decided that was against the mountless spirit! Oh boy. Daccar has Blizzard and a 26% greatshield chance. Fun! Lamia is terrifying. Well, at least compared to other enemies. She and her squad are very badass, consisting of HER, killer bow wielding female archers, and Brave sword and sleep sword wielding myrms. The Brave swords are the threat, but we have one of our own though. Anyways, she'll murder us if we get too close. Oh yeah, she has 36% adept and pursuit and would probably slaughter Ardan. Hooray! (Well actually he has greatshield) That's all for now, the battle for Silesia will continue tomorrow!
Ansem
FE4RM, or FE4 binary is an ASM hack of FE4 which rebalances the game. There are a lot of modifications to it, and the patch should be under general on the main site. I patched this with another patch which makes the mugs Thracia style. Here are a few screens of it. http://gyazo.com/8490aec942baadd9e08c067ce4ff1376 http://gyazo.com/32bba57e52d1008adb7ebb43121e9c6f http://gyazo.com/d732956faced048c8e36eb122961645a http://gyazo.com/ed759c567f357ee6b672afe89076abe5 http://gyazo.com/702aca4e996d5d6229ff3bfef5075870 Ayra got hit with the Nerf bat really hard lol
momogeek2141
Oh, I've heard of FE4 Binary. Is there an LP of it on the archive? I heard that Ayra's loss of pursuit isn't as bad because you can double without it.
Ansem
I believe so. And its more her lack of strength that hurts her haha.

momogeek2141
Haha, doing FE4 without mounts is not a new thing.Oh well, at least this is the first documented one that I can find. It's not a huge deal, I'm still having fun doing this, and that's all that matters, right? Edited May 18, 2015 by momogeek2141
momogeek2141
Oh boy! I get to fight, finally! [spoiler=Silesia] First things first: KILL THE BLIZZARD MAGES! They'll target the citizens, and they can one shot them. CRAP HE'S NOT DEAD Hahaha good luck with that. Then Donovan and co. join the fray. He sucks. This is the situation. Ayra's leading the charge like usual. See? If this is what you do Levin I've got to leave him for DEW. This one actually managed to attack a citizen, but the citizen's superb running skills caused him to dodge. He dies now. And now we can feed levels to Sylvia! This is the second best way to feed levels to Dew. Course, he's already promoted so... Oh yeah, we can teleport them so they disappear. Why can't we do that? We could just warp to Zaxon and win! (Then again they could warp to Sailane, and I'd rather not take that risk.) More physic wastage! More! It turns out Ardan can't even cross the damn mountain, so I have him do guarding duties. End turn formation. Those civilians will be fine. CRAP. RUN LACHESIS RUN!!!!! Then Tiltyu kills them. She is actually a really good unit! Not as good as pursuit ring!Levin, but still. I still want a 50 kill brave sword soon. Let the dancer get one! Then all the fighters attack Tiltyu and they all die. Holyn too. Oh good, they ignored Lachesis. I have no idea who to give them to, so Syl can get them again. Ayra's having trouble earning EXP, why not? Claud can get the last one. Now we need to attack the castle. The warriors shouldn't be too difficult, and the wind mages as well. They'll be going for Levin. Then we can slaughter them in the death zone! I don't remember if he actually killed any. In either case... Tiltyu gets this one... Mr. RNG Screwed but still a good unit gets this one. HOLYN! Look at that attack stat. It's beautiful. And Jamka's supposed to have high strength (to be fair she's like +4 on her average or something.) Woo no counter. My god. If DEW can one round you, you've got issues. Yay! I'm now Marginally Less Stupid. Oh yeah, this happens. Ardan's going to equip those crappy hand axes in order to counter them (at a bad hit rate, but still). If you're wondering who's going to get the skill ring at the end of the gen, it's Briggid. I really love this pose. Okay. You took way more damage. (What? Holyn didn't just magically turn into Briggid, what are you talking about?) Animation smears! You're talking about the wrong person. Well, we're almost done. Yeah, mountless was a lot easier than I expected. Sweet, so can we invade? ...so can we invade? YOU DIDN'T ANSWER THE FRICKING QUESTION, CAN WE INVADE? ...Let's just say yes and roll with it. Yep. Wait WHAT! Dammit! Pamela's a sissy, she won't be a problem. Guys, let's go out on a good note. Still find Black hair-green hair weird. OOH! YOU GOT BURNED! NOOOOO LEVIN! Oh phew, thank god. Sacre-HELL YEAH! Why not make a broken unit EVEN MORE BROKEN? THE GOLDEN LIGHT ENVELOPS LEVIN! Oh yeah, I repair Elwind and Silence. Holsety is BROKEN. 30 might like all legendary weapons. 1-2 range. 5 weight. That's still lighter than thunder magic! Here's the killer. Look at those damn stat boosts! +20 SPEED. +10 SKILL. GOOD LUCK MISSING OR NOT DOUBLING, LEVIN! Like seriously, he has a 65% adept chance, and a 35% critical chance. If he had pursuit, he'd be even more deadly! At this point, Levin will probably be the main bosskiller instead of Ayra, because she sometimes simply doesn't have enough might to take care of all of them. Levin on the other hand will completely obliterate everything because of magic. That's all for now! Next time: Difficult boss trivialized. And possibly the stupidest major screwup in the history of FE.
momogeek2141
Let's get some more done! [spoiler=Levin's Fury (haha see what I did there)] This is the end turn position. We're going to destroy Lamia with Holsety! Hehehe... A reminder that Ardan's still doing his thing up here. For some reason, one will attack, but won't canto away, staying at the castle entrance. None of them want to attack from the sides either. Huh. During this enemy phase, Ayra got hit by a killer bow wielding archer. That could have gone wrong. You can die now. Funfact: this is the only place you see female archers in the entire game. Brave swords aren't fun either. Jamka takes care of this one. Meanwhile Levin steps up to the boss. Oh really Lamia? TELL THAT TO A CRITICAL! TELL THAT TO THE GREEN POWER OF DOOM! YEAH LEVIN! She's dead. And down goes some 4 or so leadership stars. This game is pretty imbalanced in that we get Holy weapons really early compared to the enemies. Let's kill some more! Briggid is so good. Also screw sleep swords. Dance those in formation and retreat. Why not, it's Sigurd's archer hate sword after all. Oh yeah, sleep sword. Need to heal up. Wrong target buddy. Ayra shoots the priestess. Why isn't she promoted, look at her level! (Same with the generics I guess...) Poor Lachesis... The range of annoyance. Now, are you ready to see the stupidest mistake anyone could possibly make? (Is it imgur making the sizes huge?) So yeah. I moved Ardan off the castle in order to slaughter a pegasus knight. And then they destroyed Thove. It isn't a huge deal, I just earn less money next chapter. But Money is important! If you don't have it your weapons will rust! In either case... You super dumb. Major screwup count: 12 Go shoot yourself. Now we can take care of Pamela! Briggid doesn't even need Ichival. These guys need awareness! Jamka ain't half bad either. Ayra's still Ayra. These pegs have low res. And that's sad when compared to Tiltyu. Physic wastage! Look on the bright side, at least I can't waste it anymore! So we're in range. Let's finish this thing and clean up. Oh yeah, whoops, it turns out they managed to get Claud. Fortunately he can fire them from their job. This is the same, isn't it? No one can touch Ayra the Brave! Sorry guys, I didn't get a turn count for this chapter. Let's roll. My four favorite units this run (minus Ardan) She dodged it anyways. Wow. Greatshield!!!!! She even activated adept! And he greatshielded again! He didn't die until Tiltyu wrathed him. She couldn't kill him otherwise, okay? Sadly, Fortify doesn't heal the caster. "Ouch." He didn't do it, Andre's goon did. You can get revenge next chapter. Wow, what a family. When fighting each other "Die! No you die! You don't deserve to die! I'll kill you for that! Die!" Oh GO DIE IN A HOLE! SCREW YOU GO FALL IN A PIT AFTER JUMPING OFF A CLIFF AND SHOOT YOURSELF! How the hell didn't he die?! Whatever. Go shoot yourself Daccar! About time. Oh yeah, these two peg knights from Thove were all like "WE'RE AVENGING PAMELA! KAMIKAZE!" They kamikaze right into Holyn's Silver sword. And his partner in crime. Levin and Sylvia are warped back to visit villages. Why didn't I do Aideen? Beats me. What do they want out of her? Uh, ummmmm..... That's the same dance you do to us but over and over again! Spoiler: It doesn't have 1-2 range. The defence sword is okay. It provides +7 defense to its wielder, but that's it. I'll probably have Noish buy it. (Well with the other things he needs to buy, I don't know if he can afford this.) Last town here. See ya! Langbart! We can finally end him! Wait Sigurd, don't surrender! I wanna fight! Sigurd, I like you. Let's move out! And then he's like "Ethlin filled the role." Nah, I'm just kidding, he said that Rahna made him feel like he knew. ... BWAHAHAHA! Oh the irony of this statement! Well we're done with 4. What next? Next time: Vengeance! Stats: Capped Strength! Oh boy... Also capped Str! *sigh*
momogeek2141
Completed chapter 5, will try to update tomorrow. Also, I tried out chapter 6, and LOL it's the easiest thing I've ever played. You'll see why when you see me do chapter 5.
bottlegnomes
Out of curiosity, what are the kill count on the silver and brave sword by this point? I'd imagine the silver has to be around 70 and the brave seems like it should be nearing 50.
momogeek2141
You'll see in this update. Also, my images are out of order. Joy! [spoiler=A bunch of sickly old men] Right, so apparently all of the arena stuff was lost. Let's kill things then! Oh fine, exposition. Lord Byron wants to get the Holy Tyrfing to Sigurd. He's a sick old man, however, and so he isn't going to live for very long. Langbart sees this and sends Slayder after him. Andre of the Beige Ritter is also ready to attack. Oifaye sees Byron, and Sigurd says we need to rescue him. He also says the first strike will determine the battle. Whatever you say, sir! We get the first blood with a critical! The this side formation. Hey, Claud can talk to Aideen! This is the one chapter I'll show off conversations, because it's the last chapter of the generation! Sweet, rescue staff! Is it "I love you?" WHAAAAAAAAAT! How is this possible? We have friggin Ayra! Levin! Ardan! Azel. How will we lose?! Then why the hell did you join us? Hey, bozo, would you tell your girlfriend "I'm going to die, so this is my memento?" Wouldn't you try to FIGHT AGAINST FATE? ...I don't have a girlfriend, so I wouldn't know. Reincarnation! Are you Hindu or Buddhist? "Oh hey, I'm going to die and I'll become even better, while you should live and stay sucky." HUH? Well the most important thing is that we get a rescue staff and that apparently we're going to lose the war. Attempt 1 formation! Here he comes! And of course, something happens in which someone dies or something. So we do basically the same thing. The Brave sword will be reaping kills. Give one to the hero of mages too, why not. This Elthunder mage gets "stupidest idiot" award! Actually, wait. That one mage back in chapter 2 that refused to kill Ardan gets that award. Ehhhh...ouch. ALVIS YOU TOO?! YOUR MAJESTY, YOU'RE CORRECT! WHYYYYYYY? What the hell, Lord Ring was in damn Jungby. GEE OKAY, TALK ABOUT THE OTHERS AND SAY THAT SIGURD IS SIMPLY PART OF IT, FOR NO REASON. STUPID FOOL. Because Shanan is badass. Wait wait wait...DEIRDRE?! AAAAALLLLLLLLVVVVVVVVIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!! No wait, I said that wrong. MMMMMAAAAAAANNNNNNNFFFFFFFLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!! DAMN IT! Manfloy, I hate you so damn much! INCEST GODDAMMIT! Yay Narga. A son based off of incest. Damn it Manfloy. Screw you, your majesty. Oh yeah, we earn moneys. Ayra'll probably die if I don't heal her. Claud's going west to deal with those incoming armors along with Holyn, Ardan, and lolAzel. We're deploying Sigurd because we want Byron to be safe ASAP. Just out of curiosity, what happens if Sigurd doesn't leave the castle and Byron can't talk to him? Lubeck's aosdigpoign Ritter has come to face us. They were so close to lover status I didn't even have to deploy Noish. These bandits are tanky as hell, so I have to burn Ichival uses. Ardan's doing finely on this side. Wheee! Giant overhead smashes! Hahaha I'm not putting Azel anywhere near that death zone. Since Lachesis is so damn weak, we burn the Earth Sword in order to sap this guy's health. He found Siggy! He even married the prince's daughter! DAMMIT REPTOR! Sigurd's going to wreck with this. Oh wait, Mountless, damn it. Just BTW, Sigurd's going to have to be attacked by meteor mages later in the chapter because there's no way to kill them without Fury. Actually Levin takes them both out. THE GOLDEN LIGHT ENVELOPS SIGURD! And wait what DAMMIT! STUPID BYRON! Oh yeah, I remember now! Tiltyu died this run! So I had to restart. Let's talk to Briggid with Aideen! Briggid's talking! Going down? LOL New left formation. Funfact: These guys actually can hurt Ardan. Dew begins saving villages. Oh yeah, Slayder kinda sucks. Never underestimate brave weapons however. Oh really? LET'S DO THIS! Next time. This time we go out on weapon kill counts! This is after the Beige Ritter and possibly Langbart but... ...Heh. 82?! This is kinda pointless, but the critrate goes up. MUHAHAHAHAHA!
momogeek2141
[spoiler=We saw too much Ayra] Notice how Ardan was brought to 8hp. I wasn't kidding when I said they can hurt Ardan. Of course Ardan misses. Claud fortifies the field. Azel is going to be useful again and draw out this one armor away from the group. He can take the hit if necessary. Nobody is in range yet. They still have to get here. Now people are in range. I feel pity for Azel. Die already! With Claud's attack, the area is routed. Lach is still doing her thing. Ah, they're here! And Briggid shows them who the true leader of the Beige Ritter is! Hehehe...showdown of a lifetime! We've seen Ayra do to much, it's time for Briggid to shine! You realize you're still going to die, correct? What the hell Andre? Listen to Briggid! YOU brought shame on your family! Langbart said so himself! (He said that Andre's dumb or something because he killed his own father.) Who's trash talk is better? Briggid's or Andre's? Go ahead, take a second to think about it. ...I like the unanimous vote for Briggid. YOLO! Carpe diem! Whatever, this show needs to end correctly! And that's with a little OVERKILL! Bye! I'll have Faval kill Scorpio! With the same weapon too! Jamka, why are you so screwed? All in all, it was a very productive turn. Sig runs, BTW. They need to heal up, so Claud patches them. Earth sword animation is pretty cool. They choose death by Tiltyu. No deaths wanted, so let's heal up before the final assault on Lubeck! Dew begins to save the other village. Note that I don't visit a single one of these villages. Not one. We're now in range of ballistae. Please hold on tight and pray. Ayra strays away from the group to kill this guy. Tiltyu's become an effective murder machine with pursuit. Of course, she isn't the best dodger with Thoron. Let's start tearing these guys apart. Dammit, Levin! ...Seriously? No adept? Critical? Nothing? This is a joke. Brigid has as much attack as Silver!Jamka with Steel. What the hell. TILTYU STEPS UP! I tried to have her one shot Langbart with a wrathoron but... But... STOP TALKING ALREADY! Tiltyu was a boss and dodged. The Swanchika is an axe, so it automatically sucks. In addition, obligatory 30 might, and +20 def. And why not, +10 res too. It doesn't even matter though because his res is low anyways. Aideen could sleep him, lol. Ready the man of the hour (and the chapter, lol) Bye Langbart! Hehehehe... GREEN GREEN EVERYWHERE! NOT ONLY THAT, IT'S A BADASS GREEN! WHEEEEEEEE! I LOVE HOLSETY SO MUCH! Dannan sucks, BTW. He doesn't even pick up this dude's swanchika. Claud has some 1K left. Let's fix that! After everybody caught up, Sig seizes. No kidding. The next few castles are a ton of BS. Right? Where are you going with this, Sigurd? Oifaye... Wait huh? Sigurd doesn't want Oifaye to go? OOOOOOOHHHHHH. Oifaye, if you don't go, I'm going to beat you up. Yeah, please? I like Serlis. Yay! Wait, but Claud said that we're going to...nevermind. I bet Claud's wrong. SHANAN! Dude. Deirdre's incesting right now, bro. Wait a minute...this just might work in our favor then. Yeah! Screw that, I need Shanan in Gen 2! SEND HIM SIGURD! Cmon, say yes already! PLEASE. No kidding. For those who know Gen 2 Shanan, this is the understatement of the year. Yeah, guys, Claud was wrong! And there goes Oifaye, Shanan, and Serlis. See y'all later! Wait, huh? Don't pull a Claud now! What the hellever. Next time: Gen 2 prep and Solo time!
momogeek2141
[spoiler=Ethlin, you idiot!] Wait, that can't be... It is! What's up bro? Ethlin, are you serious right now? Did you really ask Cuan to do this AGAIN? Oh boy guys, ANOTHER sick dude! HE'S GOT DA GAE BOLG! Ethlin you're useless. Ethlin, go home. Ethlin, you seriously brought a damn baby with you?! THEN STAY HOME GODAMMIT! Ethlin, you have two babies. AND YOU SAY SCREW THEM, LET ME JOIN YOU CUAN. What the hell? Fricking hell. And then these guys move an AMAZING one space. Ethlin? Little's done. Go home. Uh oh. ETHLIN? Little's done. GO HOME. ETHLIN. GO HOME. GODDAMNIT ETHLIN LEAVE ALREADY! LISTEN TO YOUR DAMN HUSBAND! GO! HOME! ETHLIN! ETHLIN, YOU HAVE A F*CKING BABY WITH YOU! ARE YOU GOING TO FIGHT WITH A F*CKING BABY IN YOUR HAND? GO HOME ALREADY! GODDAMNIT ETHLIN! YOU BUFFOON! Here's the BS part. Oh they're here already. ETHLIN GET OUT OF THERE. Welp. Go ahead and take the land of the buffoons, and the home of the cowards. I can't comment on this very well because of STUPID ETHLIN! YOU! GO DIE IN A HOLE AND NEVER COME BACK! GO AWAY! Blah Blah Blah! Wait, who what when where why how did Manfloy say that? Fala blood is also Azel. It's not something to be proud of. *Throws shoe at Alvis* Blah Blah incest is great. Pamela...Good to see you? What happened to your hair? Wow guys. What a great defense. 4 units, 2 of which can fight. The first time I tried this castle, I tried to charge with Ayra like usual. But that didn't work. So I didn't. Next time: The first time not having mounts actually hurts. Oh and WTF Ethlin.
momogeek2141
[spoiler=The price for stupidity] Yep. Siege tome users. Strewn THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE DAMN DESERT are these douchebags. They ALL have meteor. If I had Fury they'd be trivialized by Brave Lance, but I don't, so... PamelaVaha here is a mediocre unit because her entire jig is nuking things with meteor. Once we're in range of attacking her, though, she's helpless. Cuan is the same as how we left him before. Lol-2AS. The Gae Bolg isn't good for that reason. WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU BRING A BABY TO A DESERT WITH THOSE STATS? Magorn has decent stats, especially in defense. Speed doesn't matter since lances, though the Brave lance mitigates that somewhat. Wyvern Lords, but not Wyvern knights, get a class pursuit. Of course, he isn't doubling anybody but Ardan. Trabant on the other hand is terrifying. He WILL double slower units, and 30 might is nothing to laugh at. 33 defense is nigh impenetrable, and with 75 hp he's not going down without a fight. But he's still weak to bows, right? NOPE. He has Nihil, which negates crits in this game. However, since there is no effectiveness in this game effective weapons simply autocrit against these units. However, since he has nihil which negates crits, that doesn't exactly work. Oh, did I mention that ALL of Trabant's units have horseslayers? Yeah, I don't know how these guys will live. (They won't.) ETHLIN YOU DESERVE IT THIS IS THE PRICE YOU PAY! Don't get me wrong, it's still sad, but seriously Ethlin?! I've no idea how she's dodging everyone. Of course... IMAGES ARE DELETED! JOY! So what basically happens is that Ethlin dies, Trabant forces Cuan to give up the Gae Bolg, then he dies. And then Trabant takes Altenna with him. And then the wyvern knights turn red. Meanwhile... People get feelings and start acting strangely. As shown here. Note that Levin isn't here. He's off doing a solo mission. Yes, he's going to solo the rest of the map. The reason is these douches. They have sleep staves. Oh yeah, Levin killed Vaha already. "Whoops." (stupid snes9x) Sigurd spends whatever money he has left to repair Tyrfing. Now you can see it's true power. Damn, it's powerful. It provides +40 to stat boosts, including 10 skill, speed, and 20 resistance. Sigurd's one major defensive weakness gets patched up with this sword. Easy peasy. Most of them die. Some of them live to die the next day. Okay. You're fired. Once the rest are dead... We finish. Almost there folks! Yeah, that was a stupid battle. Fricking Ethlin. No kidding, Manfloy is twisting it to pieces. Pity Cuan, not Ethlin! SHE WAS STUPID! Ay ay ay, Ethlin, what kind of a retard would bring a baby to a desert?! Next time: Death. No, really. What do you mean that was in every update? Edited May 20, 2015 by momogeek2141
momogeek2141
[spoiler=Levin's final hour and WHAT?] So after Phinora, Reptor and his threatening army of badasses get ready to charge towards us. Aida promises to help him out. Aida is a subordinate to Alvis, you see. Wait, hmm? Alvis was good after all? But he said that Sigurd's a traitor? GAAH, I'M SO CONFUSED! And Alvis's relief is Levin, and he'll kill you! Reptor is HOLY SHIT WHAT IS THIS! LEGENDARY WEAPON, NOOOO! He's not going to be missing anytime soon, even with Holsety's WTA and speed bonus. Note that the speed bonus is actually zero because the tome weighs 10, lol. IF THIS GUY HAD PURSUIT...IF HE HAD FRICKING PURSUIT... Oh yeah, 4 leadership stars. He's really not missing soon. Meanwhile, this entire time, I was managing inventories for the ideal gen 2 setup. After seizing Phinora, a bunch of love conversations occur. The first is Tiltyu and Azel. So basically, Azel tells Tiltyu to run to Silesia and that he'll fight. I think the roles should be reversed, sir! No, Levin will! Let the girl speak, dude! Kids? The next is Dew and Lach. Oh boy. He no longer has 1 defense! Okay, Dew, whatever! Listen to Lach, though, because you probably won't come out alive after a Thorhammer blast. UUUUHHHHHHHH, DON'T THINK OF IT THAT WAY DON'T THINK OF IT THAT WAY! WHY WOULD YOU MENTION THAT?! IS! Remember guys, Dew is a man of Eltshan's calibur! This is Reptor's attack range. Once Sigurd starts to approach Velthomer, they'll charge and Levin will begin his solo battle! Screw meteor. The Tyrfing is awesome. Soon, Sigurd gets in range. CRAP. SIGURD, RUN. Wait, huh? The meteor mages turned yellow? WHAT? Oh yeah, you can die, etc. If I was playing casual I'd have had Fury kill all of these guys before triggering Reptor. But I don't, so they help with the mooks. (They don't have a chance at Reptor.) Yep. Now the question is, is Alvis good or bad? Here it is, guys! The last and final battle of the generation! LEVIN VS REPTOR! FIGHT! THIS BATTLE IS EPIC BECAUSE... Er, at this point I found the Ethlin's death and Trabant images. DAMN IT IMGUR! OW. Thorhammer looks really good. Levin activates nothing. ROUND TWO! FIGHT! FUCK! GREATSHIELD! RNG abuse, go! THAT'S what actually happened. One last look... WE'RE DONE GUYS! GEN ONE IS FINISHED! WHOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO! And just like that, Reptor's army goes poof! ...Marginally faster. After talking to Aida, this. Yeah, I don't know either Sigurd. Wait, he said Sigurd's a traitor...OH GOD GUYS IT'S A TRAP. SIGURD, GET OUT OF THERE! I-I can't watch... Why the hesitation? I'm so sad guys, Sigurd can't tell! We walk through here! And these generic fire mages! Lemme speak to His Majesty and tell him to beat it! Oh screw you too Alvis. It's okay Sigurd, Alvis understands. What. But, you just said... ALVIS YOU BETTER NOT PLAY THAT CARD! It's Deirdre! WHYYYYY? *sniff* ALVIS YOU DASTARD! ALVIS YOU MONSTER! MMAAAANNNNNNNFFFFFFLLLLLLLOOOOOOOYYYYYYYY!!!!!!! Alvis go die in a hole. Not without a fight! FINAL BATTLE, LET'S GO! Wait, we go first, right? Levin, Holsety! HOLSETY! BRAVE SWORD, SILVER SWORD, KILLER BOW, ICHIVAL! EVERYTHING, JUST KILL KILL KILL! No seriously, we could rip these guys apart. Anyways, meteors fall on our team. Sigurd gets fried by Falaflame...NOOOOOOOOOO! Next time: Ending and Unit Ratings.
momogeek2141
[spoiler=Ending] The other sorrowful tales include Ardan's close encounter with death. This includes those who died. If anyone died in game they would be included here, but for me this is just Sig, Cuan, and Stupid. After that, it lists the other people, who's fate "is unknown." The end of Gen one really shows the hopelessness of Sigurd and his army. This has to be the greatest question in the game. THE GOLDEN LIGHT OF LEGENDARY WEAPONS! That's all for the ending of Gen 1. I'll see you in the unit review and award ceremony. Next time: New badasses, new challenges, old weapons. [spoiler=Unit Review/Award Ceremony] In case you're curious, Fury left chapter 5 with the Brave lance and Slim lance, and Noish left chapter 5 with a Steel sword (I think, although I should have probably brought a slim sword) some lance, wind sword, and Pursuit. In here, I'll show the final inventories of each unit as well as their usefulness, ending with a letter grade. Stats: HP -3.9 Str -0.4 Mag +1.1© Skl -1.4 Spd +1 Lck +1 Def +0.6 Res +0.7 Aideen was useful from the get go. Lack of skills doesn't affect her healing utility, and due to the fact that she's constantly with the main group, and that she had to do a ton of warping in chapter two, she gained experience really fast. Her magic blessing was extremely useful too, and made her better at her job. In addition, that also gave her some limited fighting utility, though she mostly stuck with healing. Grade: A- Stats: HP -3.6 Str +0.5© Mag -0.3 Skl -0.7 Spd -0.4 Lck -1.7 Def -1.3 Res -0.3 Ardan was pretty useless at first. However, his constant Str and Def procs made him really useful really fast, and if I needed to I could just send him to tank out the EP and have everybody else win the PP. The fact that he starts out with swords both hinders and hurts him, as once he gets pursuit he starts doubling, but without it he does mediocre damage. His weapon ranks after promotion made him extremely useful, and could cripple or kill most units he doesn't miss against. Grade: B- Stats: HP +0.2, Str -1.8 Mag -0.9 Skl (capped) Spd +1.2 Lck -1.2 Def -2.8 Res +0.1 Holyn was extremely Meh because of the fact that he was completely inferior to Ayra in everything except sturdiness. Even that wasn't so great with his Defense screwage. I'm not saying he was bad, he was incredibly useful in chapter two with luna and a strong weapon. After he took the critsilver, he fed tons of kills to it, and almost always killed his foes. If he promoted to Swordmaster then he would be marginally more useful because of Adept but he doesn't. Grade: B+ Stats: HP=0, Str -2.5 Mag -0.7, Skl +1.5, Spd +3, Lck=0, Def=0, Res -1.5 Lachesis didn't do pretty much anything in chapter two. The reason is because I wanted the knight ring. After chapter two, her staffbotting utility helped her somewhat, and having a second money dumper also helped. Besides that, here contributions were limited besides chipping the odd bandit/pirate or two. Grade: C- Stats: HP -2.5 Str=0, Mag-0.5, Skl -2.7 Spd (capped) Lck -3 Def -3 Res -0.5 (Technically he got one level after this but will it make a difference?) Statwise, Dew's just Blargh. Good thing his job isn't fighting. However, getting him up to shape was definitely not easy in chapter two, which was lanceland. After getting the light sword, he was able to earn some money off of the cross knights. He made multiple money dumps to characters like Sigurd (I think) Tiltyu, Claud, Aideen, etc. This made him extremely useful. His marriage to Lachesis gave him access to even more money, and that alone is what made him a decent unit in the end. Grade: B Stats: HP +0.7 Str +1.0 Mag -1.6 Skl +0.4 Spd -0.4 Lck +2.0 Def -1.6 Res (capped) Claud was mediocre. I mean, just compare him to Aideen and you'll see what I mean. He joined when Aideen capped magic, and although his fortify staff was great, he never got to the level of healing Aideen did. His lack of skills didn't make him a good fighter either. Overall, Claud did very little to contribute, only healing every now and then. Grade: C+ Stats: HP -2.5 Str +1.6 (in reality it's greater because she capped it 5 levels earlier) Mag +1 Skl (capped) Spd -1.6 Lck +1.5 Def=0 Res -0.7 Hoo Boy. This girl procced strength 7 times in 10 levels with a 30% growth! Like seriously! At first I wanted to know who to prioritize kills to. After Jamka started putting me to shame, I tried this girl out. She didn't disappoint. With a Legendary weapon at her disposal, she could pretty much one round anything, especially with her wtf capped strength. Too bad there weren't any exclusive bows she could have gotten, like a brave bow, it would have boosted her usefulness by a ton! Grade: A Stats: HP -0.7, Str -3 Mag=0 Skl -1.3, Spd -0.9, Lck -3.2, Def -2.9, Res -0.1 I don't like those average stats, Jamka! That said, Jamka was immensely useful during chapter 1 and 2, but started to fall behind, when his RNG screwedness began to show. Killer bow is a powerful weapon, and having that alongside pursuit, adept, and charge makes a strong unit! However, once Briggid joined she began to show him up. Jamka's supposed to have an extremely high gen one str growth, but he decided to make himself suck this time. Oh well. Grade: A- Stats: HP -1.1, Str +2.7 (What?) Mag -0.2, Skl -2.6, Spd -0.5, Lck -0.6, Def -0.6, Res -1.3 Azel was immensely useful and an extremely good unit during the early early game. If you go back and read those updates, I hyped Azel up like crazy. However, his usefulness plummeted in chapter two, where his high magic meant very little in the midst of Levin hanging around. It's so sad, how units with potential like Azel are completely blown away by amazing units like Levin. He served a minor role in chapter 3 too, with the ability to use Elfire, but after that he saw no combat except for that one armor in chapter 5. Grade: C Stats: HP +6.7(Holy shit!) Str -1.4 Mag +1.2, Skl (capped) Spd -0.2 Lck -3.0 Def -2.4 Res -2.4 Hey guys, is it funny that adding up the magic blessings and HP blessing almost equal her screwages in Luck Def and Res? Skewed unit! I never felt that Tiltyu was bad at any time, because she was unpromoted only during the pirate battle, where it was just her and Briggid doing the fighting. Wrath was a very nice skill to have, and at times she could screw over a greatshield with it. Her beautiful stats (besides defense) let her see a lot of combat, and she was a very worthy unit to have in the end. Also, she doesn't keep the pursuit ring, it went to Noish. Grade: A- At last, you've waited long enough, let's hear it for awards! Coming in third place for the Bronze Medal was... Stats: HP -2.0 Str -0.7 Mag +1.9 Skl -0.7 Spd +1.3 Lck +4.9 Def -0.7 Res +2.2 Some of you might be surprised, some of you will not. I rarely mentioned Sylvia in the updates, because her job was the same. Let four units finish crippling or decimating the enemy. Her stats are shit, but that's not the point. Without her, many battles would have been very tough. In addition, she helped units catch up to the main group after they went after a side objective. All in all, she was immensely useful, and without her, this playthrough would have been tough. Grade: A+ Coming in Second for the silver medal is... Stats: HP -0.6 Str -2.4 Mag +2.9© Skl +1.2© Spd (capped) Lck +0.2 Def -0.8 Res -0.4 Levin was an absolute BEAST! His lack of pursuit was probably the one thing that held me back from letting him be the main attack leader. Besides that, his stats are perfect! Max Magic, skill, speed? What else do you want? Okay, maybe defense, but the odds of that happening are nonexistant. Once he got Holsety, any enemy that so much as looked at him died (except for Daccar: GREATSHIELD!) I can't wait to use him again in gen two, in the form of Sety. Who, by the way, has the one weakness Levin had patched up. Oh boy. Grade: A++ And finally, the MVP of Generation one of the FE4 Mountless run was none other than... Stats: HP -2.2 Str +3.3 Mag -1.3 Skl (capped) Spd +0.2, Lck +2.8 Def -1.2 Res +0.7 My god, Ayra was Jesus in this run. She was Our Lord and Savior. Her A rank swords helped her a lot in early game, as she could use Sigurd's Silver Sword. Unfortunately she couldn't one round bandits, but her constant gaining of strength fixed that problem immediately. Eventually, she became an overall badass, sporting a critical sword which came from the ASS strategy, Continue, Pursuit, and the ever deadly Astra. After she promoted in chapter fricking two, she became kind of like a mini jeigan for my characters: if an enemy needed to die, send in Ayra and she'll delete that enemy. Soon, she lost her critsilver for a brave sword, and that...was kinda a downplay actually, but nevertheless she could destroy pretty much anything. She was definitely the unit that contributed the most to my run. Kudos to you! Grade: MVP
momogeek2141
Here we go, a new adventure with a new lord! [spoiler=Balance] So, Serlis was taken by Oifaye and Shanan to Isaac. Let's see what's going on over there. Don't worry, you won't be undermined anymore after we remove you from your post (insert Levin/Macbeth reference here) WAIT HUH? ALREADY? They're playable units now! Oh. Well crap. But...but we are! And then this happens. We're back in axeland! Wait, where are you going, Holyn wannabe? IT'S YOU! SCATHACH! LAKCHE TOO? OH MY GOD! YES! Aren't you two twins? Why are you disagreeing? You should think the same (AKA like Lakche) Via a bunch of 50 kill weapons. Oh yeah, the Silver sword is very close to the 90s. Scathach, we can handle them! Why won't you let us fight? YA HEAR THAT DANNAN! YOU JUST GOT BURNED BY LAKCHE! HA! Oh my god, the people running this place are dicks, aren't they? It is him! SERLIS! I can actually use you too, which is nice. So let's fight! Tell that to Aideen. Oh yeah, Aideen is actually in Tilnanogue, working as a priest or something. If she could help us hehehe... Nuns can only fight after promotion. Not you Lana. Sweet! Greil Mercenaries...MOVE OUT! Let's roll in Gen 2! Here's Serlis. He's kinda weak, because I trained Sigurd very little. Those power and speed rings are going to help him out a long way, and so is that brave sword. No, he doesn't start out with one, he starts out with the slim sword. That's Ayra's brave sword, and it retains kill counts. It's going to be Serlis's personal weapon for a while before he gets Tyrfing, to balance out for his lack of promotion. He gets Sigurd's pursuit, making him instantly useful unlike Lachesis, and Nihil which is pretty useless until lategame, when bosses have critical and stuff. For now, pursuit will let him quad most enemies that attack him. LAKCHE! And oh my god, those bases are atrocious. No seriously, go check Ayra's bases. Go ahead, I'll wait. She has the same strength. Less speed and skill. But don't worry. Her father being Jamka will boost her growths considerably, and she'll turn out pretty good, hopefully. I've got huge expectations for her because of Ayra, and having another one will be really nice. In addition, she has that 80 or so Silver sword, so she'll pretty much slaughter everything in the earlygame. She gets class pursuit, JAMKA'S adept (Ayra's was a class skill) Ayra's Nihil, Jamka's Charge, and Ayra's Astra. Very nice skillset, although with Noish she would have Critical, and would get adept upon promotion. Scathach starts off worse than Lakche, but has good growths like her, so he'll be fine (hopefully). It's too bad he promotes to an inferior class. Same skillset as Lakche, and that's the main reason I did the pairing. I want both children to be equally usable because mountless. I'll need the best out of each unit (although I'm experimenting with NoishXBriggid.) Here's Lana, and as you can see she's come loaded up and ready for battle. She's got Physic for long range healing, Warp for warping, Sleep if she needs to, and Fortify for multiple heals. She also has Rescue, and I'm going to be using it more actively in gen 2. She'll be leveling really really fast, possibly as fast as Aideen. It's a pity she has no skills, she'd be pretty good with them. I do! She was super Badass, and even won the MVP award. Oh...maybe she didn't survive. I know Jamka didn't. Oh yeah, Lakche is identical to Ayra except for her dress. We get +1 luck for our efforts. End turn. Now here's the thing. Scathach cleanly one rounds every unit with his silver blade inherited from Shagaal Jamka. Serlis will cleanly one round every unit with his critbrave. Lakche doesn't cleanly one round with critsilver, but it's crit is so high and she has other skills to back it up, she might as well. The result? An extremely easy chapter. Serlis has paragon, so he'll be massively overleveled by the end of this chapter. I wish he was like FE5 Leaf, with a shitty promotion. It's better than no promotion at all. Serlis is also going to be our armorslayer for the chapter, since he cleanly one rounds armors, unlike the other two, who are merely extremely likely to one round them . LAKCHE CAN BEND SPACE WITH HER AMAZING CRITICALS! Silver Blade is heavy compared to other swords, so Scathach might take a hit or two. Like that matters, with Lana the walking priest. OIFAYE! YOU'RE HERE! NOOOOOOOOOO! WHY ARE YOU A MOUNTED UNIT! Hell, why are all of them mounted units! This guy is Delmud. He's Lachesis's son. The other guy is Lester. He's Aideen's son. He looks like she's been having an affair with Lex while Lana...I don't even know. Oh well, it doesn't matter. SERLIS IS OUR ARMORSLAYER! Sweet, we get Dew's shit back. ...AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! LOLOLOLOLOL HAHAHAHAHAHA LOLOLOL HAHAHA! SERIOUSLY?! The armorslayer strikes...No seriously, Serlis is no Sigurd, but he's just as powerful with the right equipment. Crap, it's unavoidable. Oh well, only this guy can hit her. OUCH. Why does Lana have a hit rate? Why couldn't they make this radiant dawn where you could attack with Staves? Meanwhile, Lakche continues kicking ass. I'm pretty sure one enemy this entire map wasn't one rounded. Yes, even the bosses were one rounded! Holy shit! I prepared too well for this chapter, didn't I? Hell yeah! I try to place Lana in a place where she won't get attacked. Then, she physics Lakche. THEY'RE COMING! More meat for us! My swordplay is too good for you! Serlis, you can backflip?! Basically Serlis is the most potent because brave sword, so he leads the charge. Also, he's basically going to act as Sigurd. Turn after. Blind charging! No one likes archers! They should have nerfed the inheritance system. Seriously. This won't end well. For them! Like seriously, we shouldn't be wielding Silver Blades on the first chapter! Or brave weapons! I wish Serlis had a rapier or something. Lakche failed to one round this one. He dies now. ALL HAIL THE BLINDING SUN! So now they're gone. Screw bows. Now Serlis is going to completely charge forward in order to save a village in danger. There you are! Bye bye! Oh, and we reached the castle guard. They go down without a fight. Even Scathach can one round them! JamkaXAyra, ladies and gentlemen! Of course, sometimes we have to backflip dead opponents! Oh really? Tell that to the girl who ORKO'd you. Critsilver swords are pretty broken guys. WHY NO F'ING STRENGTH! After taking the village, Serlis seizes his first castle. LEVIN?! What are you doing here! Poor Rahna... Well I mean, we kinda want to avenge Sigurd. ALVIS AND MANFLOY! Good! Balmung? Hehehehehe...HAHAHAHAHAHA! Yeah, Shanan is badass! GEE I WONDER WHOSE CHILD SHE IS! CLEARED MEMORIES? OH NO THAT MAKES THINGS MORE CONFUSING! How long with that take? One hundred years? Damn right you aren't! You have a 55% growth! Not once in 6 levels! THAT'S ONLY WHEN YOU DECIDE TO PROC STRENGTH BRO! Whee! Let's go out on Julia. I fricking wonder whose child she is, based on looks, stats, and CLASS?! Unlike Deirdre, however, Julia is actually pretty good, depending on a decision you make. Her magic and resistance will shoot to the roof really fast, and all you have to do is pray for speed procs. That defense could be a little better, but her hp growth is decent. Right now she's unarmed, but she'll be useful this chapter, don't worry. Unlike Deirdre, she has pursuit, which instantly makes her a decent to good combatant. She also has adept, which is nice on a magic user. After promotion she can use wind magic to, so... Nihil isn't important except for one boss later that she'll take care of, and that's way later in the game. All in all, she's a solid unit. Next time: Two crappy units, which one do I pick? momogeek2141
[spoiler=Two brothers, slaughter, you know the deal.] Note that he's Langbart's son, complete with Major Neir. Imagine if one of them had Swanchika. GEE, I WONDER WHO RECRUITS HIM. This is Johalva. This is Johan. Guess who I'll be recruiting. Immediately after, a pegasus knight flies in. Mahnya? Arthur! Do you own the excalibur sword? Also, this is Fee, Fury's daughter. Sucks she's unusable. Why can't she rescue people like she did in this cutscene again? Alster is down by Lenster. So it's REALLY far away. Wow, someone's very patient here. What the hell was she doing in Alster? I find it funny that all of the mothers have one male and one female child. But...Levin was right there! Fury... Like you're the person we need, mounted buffoon. Brave is right. Just like Brave sword! Aha, aha, ahahah *shot*. Okay. We can use one of you. And short term. Arthur is the son of Tiltyu. He kicks ass in a normal playthrough. Here, he's just going to be Azel But Better. He can use Elfire and Elthunder because of minor Fala and Tordo respectively. He promotes to Mage Knight. Fortunately, he comes with wind magic, and he can use that during the early game to megachip. As for bases, they're alright, although he wants some more defense for sure. He will be a powerful offensive force if trained though, with 50% magic and 70% speed growths! His caps let him down somewhat, but he's not seeing intense use. You know what sucks? If I didn't pair Tiltyu, his substitute character would be a wind mage anyways, and promote to mage hero. Oh well. He has pursuit from Azel and Wrath from Tiltyu. Pursuit will be far more useful than wrath, which is only likely to see use in the arena. I won't cover Fee very much since unusable. She's got the brave lance so that one boss will drop the brave bow. A character later on will be able to use the brave lance however. She also comes with two slim lances, and the berserk sword. This is Johalva's range. I don't want him to die. Ignore the fact that they are yellow. End turn. Surprised yet? Almost all of them die to Lakche and Scathach. They did get hurt, however. I have him kill one more dude for more EXP, because once I recruit Johalva, his units will turn green. Oh yeah, Serlis gets started on this group. And then Lana heals everybody. BY THE POWER OF THE BLAGGI SUN! It's so sad, I won't be able to talk about Johalva because I didn't screenshot his stats. I'll cover him briefly after the recruitment convo. What? Didn't he work for the empire? Why are you sympathizing with them? Oh, okay. He still hurt the men, though! Wait WHAT! Child sacrifices...how shameful! Hell yeah! We get an Axe specialist! Unlike Ardan! Johalva has some pretty decent bases. NOT speed, because axes. Too bad that growth is a mere 10%. His defence is pretty good though, and so is the Strength. Skill would leave something to be desired, but his growth in that is okay. He's got charge. Doesn't help that he uses axes, so charge barely activates. Oh god, Brave Axe. This is ironically the same brave axe that Ardan used, same killcount and everything. With his strength, the double is going to hurt like hell. No skills, thank god. Dannan is a joke. Look at that speed, then look at his axe. He's a sorry excuse for a level 25, and for a king of Isaac. Why the hell he has a thief sword, I'll never know. And Johan's unrecruitable! Truly a terrifying battle cry. End turn. Oh yeah, a bunch of bandits start moving, so this happens. One of the Sophara generics go down. Good. Oh really? That's why you forgot your swordreaver Do you by chance mean the reverse? Because I mean the reverse. Brave sword, everybody! If you loved her that much, you wouldn't have packed your horse. Oh boy. Schmitz. Arthur let's play a game! It's called waltz over to the bandit and cast a double elfire! We tear these guys apart. DAMMIT JOHALVA. You really need pursuit. Everyone fear, Serlis is here! Let's play spot the mistake! Can you guys guess... Yeah okay there wasn't any. In one of my failed runs, I placed Julia in range, and they one shotted her. Oh yeah, I may not have captured it, but Lana can talk to Julia to give her Mend. She uses that right now, and is her only way to get EXP for now. Why the hell not. Scathach's kinda behind levels wise. He gets some more. We save this village! This is important because it has a skill ring. Schmitz is almost upon us! This douche dies now. Charge! Attack! Set up a chokepoint! What's SUPER annoying is that they ALL HAVE HAND AXES. I cannot counter them at all on EP! That's why I set up a chokepoint. Like so. I'm pretty sure critsilver's at 100 kills now, the kill cap. This sucks! They just attack Scathach and then don't canto away! GTFO New formation. HEY! SCHMITZ, GET BACK HERE! Yeah, we aren't catching up soon. RIP. There's no way I could have saved it except by bumrushing and feeding everything to Serlis. Skip ahead a few turns. YAY, MORE EXP FOR ME! This battle is going to be much longer and harder because I don't have the chokepoint to rely on. This happens a lot. Funfact: After this battle we go backwards. I think any combat with Lakche ends up the same way. That earlier dickhead managed to climb mountains to get here. Well, let's finish up. Johalva can join the fun, I guess. Claud!Lana is so very helpful in earlygame. Claud!Lester though is useless. Serlis chipped this guy so Johalva wouldn't feel left out. Fricking axes! Scathach prepares to face the "boss." The "boss" is very similar to Johan's lackeys. Julia is very behind levelwise. Don't worry, she catches up in chapter seven. He dies. Easily. After some last minute healing for exp, We take on Dannan. Never underestimate a 100 kill Silver sword. See y'all next time! All that happens here is some elder comes and says thank you. momogeek2141
There's literally nothing to the rest of chapter 6 but story and villages. I want to get it out of the way so that I can start chapter 7. That's one I look forward too, it's very interesting strategywise. [spoiler=Bye bye Isaac] After seizing either Sophara or Isaac, Julia can talk to Serlis. Whichever one you choose first affect what you get at the end. What is it indeed? Nosferatu! It's light magic in this game! Julia's usefulness jumped up by leagues. She went from "5 move healer with no good staves" to "Ardan." In my test run of chapter 7, Nosferatu came in extremely handy in certain castles. It has a decent might which complement's Julia's high magic score. It's not that heavy for light magic. The only problem is that 70 hit which, well... That issue is taken care of. If you seized Sophara first, you would get Aura. Yes, the aura that came with Deirdre and sucks balls and has 20 weight and Julia will never dodge while having it equipped. I mean, it's might is 8 stronger, but why the hell would you pick that over self healing and the potential to double?! Lana needs money, so she gets one too. Johalva gets one three so that he can buy the Brave Axe from Lakche. Not bad at all. I bet Levin pilfered a rewarp staff from Thracia 776. Serlis's job is to make it normal again. Wheee, history references! Oh my god. That sucks. GODDAMMIT MANFLOY! Ah, well you see, we have a 100 kill weapon on our side! What can go wrong! Okay, then inherit Ayra's power and you'll have what it takes. SON OF THE CHILD OF LIGHT Wasn't there someone who had this line as their avatar? *cough* what Ayra started. Sweet! Huh, well Arthur will have gotten his wish all right. CUAN'S DEAD. BECAUSE OF HIS STUPID, STUPID WIFE. SHANAN! I can't wait for chapter 7. Strategywise it's so great. PuffPuff
I dunno why that I didn't catch this topic earlier. x.x [spoiler=Prologue-Jungby Part 1] God, Alec's a jerk isn't he? No wonder I'm not using him.Anyways, this new dude is Ardan, and out of these guys, he's the only one I'm allowed to use longterm. So I won't discuss any of the mounted units except for this guy. THIS GUY. HE'S A PREPROMOTE LORD. Yes, Sigurd it THE best lord in the entire fire emblem series, better than Awakening Avatar even! (Tbh I haven't played that game). He has good growths for a FE4 first generation unit, in addition to his Baldo holy blood. Here's the thing though: he doesn't lose experience gain for being promoted. So imagine Seth getting the same EXP as Franz, and you have Sigurd. PURE. AWESOME.What the- HEY YOU CAN'T CRITICAL YOU HAVE NO SKILLZ! (Yes critical is another skill, Noish has it.)Oh hey! The red haired one is Azel. He's a footed mage! I can use him! Too bad he promotes to Mage Knight. The other guy is Lex, an axe knight. He's actually really good, but I can't use him. Woo Azel! You player! With one kill and one or two battles, he already has 94 EXP. This is because he has Paragon, which is the main reason why he's so good. His cock gives his kids iron steel. So shut up, jackass. FE's 1&3 are awesome because EXP gains never get a decrease as they level up! Originally, he can't. Why this happened?? It's a mystery. Zechs really has hit the motherload and Azel wants him to keep quiet about it. He's not one of the highest tiered units in this generation for nothing. [spoiler=Jungby Part 2] Wait WHAT NO THAT'S NOT HOW IT WORKS THAT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN! SIGGGGUUUUUUURRRRRRDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fortunately I savestated this turn. This is vividly annoying in a ranked run as you'd have to do the whole chapter over as you dies still get counted towards your combat rank if you reset at any time after the start of the next chapter. Cannot get more than 3 defeats if to get an A rank in combat. Thank you very much for the feedback. I'll try to use less pictures. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how to get snes9x or imgur to make the images smaller, I might ask Themoniker about that. [spoiler=Genoa] Go die in a hole Azel. GODDAMMIT AZEL! TWICE IN A ROW! ARE YOU FRICKING SERIOUS! GO JUMP IN A PIT AND SHOOT YOURSELF! HOW DO YOU MANAGE TO AGGRAVATE ME SO! YOU LITERALLY HAVE NO STATS CAPPED! SO STOP BEING A BUFFOON AND GET GOOD PROCS ALREADY AAAAHHHHHHH! Why the growths have to be so bad for them in the first gen? [spoiler=Jamka] The death zone. Not nearly as deadly as the Black Knight, but still. She has Nihil. Useless in this early part of the game (and even later it's relatively useless except against major bosses.) And she leaves after the early part of the game. Yeah. Deirdre is pretty bad. Before we go out, let's take a look at Sandima. ...18 magic. 18 FRICKING MAGIC. DARK MAGIC IS THE MOST POWERFUL IN THE GAME. HOLY SHIT! Sandima is scary as hell to fight without Deirdre, and Fenrir has 3-10 range. Jormung is even stronger! He can one shot pretty much my entire team besides Deirdre and maybe Aideen! Fortunately, Deirdre's Silence will pretty much trivialize him. It's the greatest pleasure to have such an elite unit under your command for two chapters. :D Good for the Peg sisters Meng, Bleg, and Maybell and the Final Boss. No use beyond that. This would be like a Thracia moment if it weren't for Deidre ruining things. -.- This is it guys! I'm so sad...the last castle with Sigurd as a usable unit! Well...here goes! [spoiler=Chapter 2 prep] Ummmmm..... please don't make me think like that. His special skill is Luna. Between the other two sword skills (Astra and Sol) Luna is in the middle. Like its FE9 counterpart, Luna will negate defense. It's good on units like generals and Barons, who have FRICKING GREAT SHIELD TO NEGATE LUNA. Also, a RD mastery skill is better than an FE9 mastery skill, so Astra is naturally better. I could take you out with my GODLY SWORDMASTER. Welcome to the biggest slut in all of Nintendo. Okay, Sylvia also comes close. Also procs 100% hit rate as well. :) Sigurd could kill him easily with a Skill Ring+Slayer. :DDD I've made this mistake so many times before, it's not funny. Thank god! Yes! Also nice! The thief duo can do stuff now! Notice how Dew is a man of "Eltshan's calibur." Fury's going to be so happy Levin proposed to her. On the subject, this pairing happens REALLY REALLY FAST. This on the other hand I did NOT know happens really really fast. I'm so confused on so many levels it hurts. I know Sylvia falls in love with basically everybody, but Lex is really fast?! I don't even... That's all the pairings that happened. Aideen: Light of cool breeze, give me power! Children packing with Charge and Pursuit is a good nessessity. Nanna packed with Sun Hit outta be good if she is given the 50 kills Silver Sword! Easily affordable with passed bargain as well. Too bad that Steal cannot pass on as it is tied to only the Thief/Thieffighter class. Like Great Shield is for Barons/Generals. :) Canon. That slut. Dew? Well crap. Fortunately Dew's wtf speed and his WTA will help him not die. Levin and Ayra are there in case he needs help. This is the best part of the game to train Dew. In addition, the entire enemy force are pirates. Meaning... Every. Single. One. Every single one of those buffoons has 5000 gold. Yes, this is Dew's playground. He's going to keep his stuff, and fill his gold to the max. He has another money dump to make this chapter. Time to fill your pockets, Dew. [spoiler=Seizing the traitor and his castle] Aideen, why did you always make me worry about you?! Anyways, the Blonde healers hooked up. They may not get skills for this pairing, but they will get good Mag at least and one of the children can be given the Pursuit Ring. Let's get some more done! [spoiler=Levin's Fury (haha see what I did there)] (Is it imgur making the sizes huge?) So yeah. I moved Ardan off the castle in order to slaughter a pegasus knight. And then they destroyed Thove. It isn't a huge deal, I just earn less money next chapter. But Money is important! If you don't have it your weapons will rust! That would also murder combat ranking. You'd have to restart the chapter from the very beginning if this were a ranked run. [spoiler=We saw too much Ayra] Dannan sucks, BTW. He doesn't even pick up this dude's swanchika. He shall be a risen later. Aka: Raydrik. Blah Blah incest is great. No one is getting in the way of their love, not even you. [spoiler=Levin's final hour and WHAT?] What. Where is the "That won't be nessessary" part? Stats: HP -3.6 Str +0.5© Mag -0.3 Skl -0.7 Spd -0.4 Lck -1.7 Def -1.3 Res -0.3 Ardan was pretty useless at first. Grade: B- That looks pretty low for a LV27 unit. :o Here we go, a new adventure with a new lord! [spoiler=Balance] Here's Lana, and as you can see she's come loaded up and ready for battle. ALL HAIL THE BLINDING SUN! Give her the Pursuit Ring. Early Fortify, YES! [spoiler=Two brothers, slaughter, you know the deal.] Note that he's Langbart's son, complete with Major Neir. Imagine if one of them had Swanchika. I find it funny that all of the mothers have one male and one female child. In trivia...Bannon is the only character to have two children of the same sex. There's literally nothing to the rest of chapter 6 but story and villages. I want to get it out of the way so that I can start chapter 7. That's one I look forward too, it's very interesting strategywise. [spoiler=Bye bye Isaac] That issue is taken care of. If you seized Sophara first, you would get Aura. Yes, the aura that came with Deirdre and sucks balls and has 20 weight and Julia will never dodge while having it equipped. I mean, it's might is 8 stronger, but why the hell would you pick that over self healing and the potential to double?! R.I.P Aura. Just R.I.P. momogeek2141
I dunno why that I didn't catch this topic earlier. x.x His cock gives his kids iron steel. This is vividly annoying in a ranked run as you'd have to do the whole chapter over as you dies still get counted towards your combat rank if you reset at any time after the start of the next chapter. Cannot get more than 3 defeats if to get an A rank in combat. It's the greatest pleasure to have such an elite unit under your command for two chapters. :D Good for the Peg sisters Meng, Bleg, and Maybell and the Final Boss. No use beyond that. Just R.I.P. Nice to hear someone else's view on this. :) ... Oh boy. I caught snes9x not screencapping images red handed. I don't even know what happened, but I missed Tinny's recruitment, Ishtor's death, and a bunch of other important stuff. A LOT. I didn't even finish, I was checking how many images I had in the middle to discover that it stopped for some reason! Does anybody know why? momogeek2141
I still haven't solved the problem, but I'll update the beginning of the chapter later today. EDIT: WELL NEVER MIND, THE SCREENSHOTS WERE JUST OUT OF ORDER. AGAIN! AND INSTEAD I DON'T HAVE THE SCREENSHOTS OF THE FIRST CASTLE! SO I HAVE TO REPLAY THAT! GAAAAAHHHHHH! EDIT2: I think I figured out what happened. The new screenshots ate over the old screenshots. What the hell? I guess I'm no longer going to play chapters at a time, just castles I guess. momogeek2141
Huh. Okay, so I guess I should record on the same day or something. Thank you! Anyways, after replaying half the chapter for y'all, here's an update! [spoiler=Oh boy] Let's get started with chapter 7! Oh hey Fin! I haven't seen you since, oh, chapter 4! Also, here's my second favorite lord character. LEAF! Blume? Let's kill him! Hell yeah, we're coming! Also, good luck surviving for months and months waiting for us. FE4, really? Just change Lachesis's sprite, will ya? This is Nanna, Leaf's canon wife. Most players would ignore this advice. This is my only way of succeeding. Don't worry, once that happens you're good to go! They have 3 people! How do you guys fail so bad! I love these kinds of villains. Sir, it's impossible to win! I DON'T CARE! YOU DO IT, AND YOU DO IT NOW! NO ONE CARES, YOU'RE GENERIC! Sir Sir Sir Sir Sir! THIEF! Here's Patty! Someone's got her priorities straight. *cough* Dew and your robbing Blaggi Tower *cough* ... SHANANANANANANANANAN! Shanan, change into a thief and rob from the thief! Balmung? Oh boy Don't be like me, clean your damn room! Blah Blah it's going to take forever. No, it was Ethlin who started it. DAMN IT LEVIN, DON'T PULL A DORIAS ON ME NOW! Yeah! Brief preparations. Serlis fixes his sword (although as of now he hasn't used it once this chapter) Joe buys the Brave Axe. Lana repairs Fortify and Rescue. Here's Cutozov. He's scarier than Sandima. We've got another way to trivialize him, but it's much less reliable. He has 4 AS, pursuit's no problem. Although knowing that Dark Bishops have pursuit is news to me. (Not fair, A in anima!) ARE YOU FRICKING SERIOUS! WE DON'T EVEN HAVE A LEGENDARY WEAPON, NOW WE FACE THE HARDEST! WHYYYYYYY? ...Blume is tough. He can't double, but he can and will dodge. High defense and Res is no joke either. Finally, he has a luck stat. Oh the horror! Oh, and he hits really hard too. And he has Fuck You Shield. Really tough. Time to cover our newbies! Hell. Fucking. YES! Shanan joins us, and MY GOD LOOK AT THOSE DAMN BASES! They're almost Briggid Tier! Tbh, they aren't as respectable because Shanan uses an inferior weapon type, but he gets even GODLIER...right now, actually! I'll show it off later. His growths are shit though, 20% speed, really? Hopefully he'll turn out, because I'll need him. Also, I have a personal goal to reach concerning him. HELLO, OVERKILL! Pursuit and Adept are Swordmaster skills, but he has Astra. Kill someone normally? Why not overkill them? With an 80% skill growth that's probably going to activate often later on. I'm actually going to be using him intensely this chapter. Patty, unfortunately, is really weak. But look at the good side. ...2 MORE BASE DEFENSE THAN DEW! WHOOOOO! She's the daughter of Briggid. Growth wise, her strength will grow fast, but her speed won't. Granted, she does use swords which fixes that problem, alongside having a decent promotional gain. She'll get pursuit after promotion, but she can keep the ring for now. The sleep sword can also be known as the arena breaker. It weights a ton, but if it hits, there's a chance that the opponent will be put to sleep. In the arena, sleep lasts the entire battle. So Patty can sleep her opponent, switch to an iron sword, and win 100%! Honestly, people avoid pairing Briggid with Midir, Jamka, or Noish because charge kill her. THAT'S STUPID. Patty is frail as hell, so her high speed means nothing if she doesn't have enough hp to activate charge. It's actually helpful for me, since I packed a wind sword for her, and she can use charge from range. Lack of pursuit isn't a bad thing, she'll get it on promo. Finally, Leaf. Nanna's going to see use this chapter, but that's because it'd be extremely luck based otherwise. His HP and defense base, while decent, isn't enough for him. He'll be able to take one hit, but that's it. Those armor knights aren't pansies. Leaf's growths aren't half bad. It's his promotion that kills him for this run. He promotes to Master Knight like Lach. However, she was able to use staves. Leaf can't. So after this chapter, he's basically obsolete. He has good growths, so if I wanted to, I could give him the pursuit ring after Patty promotes... Adept, critical. Critical won't mean much, and adept will hurt more than help. I just wanted to show you that the shop is HUGE. Maybe I should have had Joe buy the hand axe. This is what Leaf's going to face. A ton of Armor knights. He gets 2HKO'ed until he gets a few levels under his belt. Here's the Yied force. Patty'll get one rounded by every unit here. The Myrms have strong equipment, and the dark mages have the OP Jormung spell. First thing you want to do-RUN PATTY THE HELL AWAY. Make sure she's in range of Shanan, though, cause he can talk to her. Divine? Y'all know what that means! Blume's going down now. And now...Shanan becomes even godlier! Do y'all sense a canon pairing? FUCK that, she's going with Serlis. Why? Because Patty's my favorite Gen 2 female. Shanan also is in desperate need of money, so...cousing incest pairing... Tbh Patty, you wish you were dreaming. You get one shotted. I'VE GOT THE POWAH! THE GOLDEN LIGHT ENVELOPS SHANAN yeah I missed it. The Balmung is ridiculous. Same bonuses as Holsety, meaning that Shanan can double pretty much anybody. In addition, +10 Astra activation. With a legendary weapon. Holy shit! It only has 3 weight, meaning he'll rip anybody who sees him. For some reason though, Shanan has a lot more trouble when it comes to dodging compared to Levin or Sety. Guess what I'm going to do with these guys? I forgot to mention this, but Julia's going to be the MVP this chapter. She also is in dire need of levels, alongside Patty. This is what Serlis is going to face. If it were Levin the hitrate would be zero. I don't either. Anyways, they're pretty much going to die. Say goodbye to these villages. None of them survive. KILL THE MAGES FIRST. They are a HUGE threat to Shanan, and if they hit he's going to have to dodgetank the rest of the enemies. Let's let Julia go. Here's why she's useful. She basically is Ardan who can survive magic too. Because if she takes any damage, she'll heal it right back. She's in range of one of the mages. Oh no Julia's almost dead. Why the fuck would you pick Aura. Damn, they hit Shanan! Fortunately it was a myrm. ... OOOOOOOUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCHHHHHHHHH. WHAT. THE. HELL. SCREW YOU ANNA! Hey you look stupid. Hey you are stupid. Why do all mercenaries start with J in this game? Not Serlis. Sigurd's son. Obviously he's out for revenge. What in the- Eltshan was no enemy! You're stupid too! DANCER! Leen's a cool person. Meh. Unimportant conversation. GO. DIE. IN. A. HOLE. Like I said, Julia can tank these hits like no tomorrow. She can even get the kill if she activates adept! Like so. Scathach gets the other mage, then we wait. Leaf's going to hold this chokepoint for the rest of the chapter. Scathach will have to take a hit, but that's no problem. ...Or nevermind as he goes for Lakche. Shanan=90%safe. If the myrm hits, I'm doomed. Not this myrm. This myrm must hit no matter what. All cleared up! PHEW! Thank god. You can die now. Serlis is going to head north to Yied. RIP Lenster. Shanan's going to clear out the area for Serlis. The imminent threat of a hit is there, but won't be a huge issue. As shown when Shanan adepts this doofus. Lana's going to help them get home faster. The power of Rescue. I want Leaf's dodging power to be as high as possible, so slim sword! Also, this. So? You're dead. Final formation. THE BATTLE BEGINS! RIP villages. Then I seize. Yeah, like Aless wants to kill Serlis! Damn, Shanan really destroyed things here, didn't he? I don't quite understand his advice, but whatever. BYE! Next time: Oh god the images are all over the place!
