Like I haven't done the chapter yet, so I dunno. but...

CHAPTER 32 - 3/134 TURNS

DOUBLE BODY RING DART FOR TOP TIER

This allows him to rescue Hector, and not be rescued by anyone.

Lucius warped Dart ahead 12 squares, and Eliwood rescued Hector, and got danced by Nils. He gave Hector to Dart, who moved onto the forts in the middle of the map. Marcus and Fiora rescue dropped Lucius ahead, and Lyn and Sain rescue dropped Nils ahead. Lucius got danced the next turn and then warped Dart onto a river space 12 squares away from the forts, and Dart dumped Hector within 5 squares of seizing. He blicked Limstella the next turn and let Hector seize.

C22 3/76 turns

Apparently, Eubans doesn't move on HNM, ruining my initial 2-turning plan. At least the 3-turn doesn't require a crit and nets the brave axe. Kent got danced on turn 1, drops Hector onto the left ballista and goes right to mop up stuff with a Hand Axe. Turn 2, Hector (unequipped) goes left and Raven is danced left, next to the door, so the Thief doesn't block my way to the brave axe. Wil uses a ballista to finish a Wyv Rider that attacked Kent. Priscilla unlocks the right door on turn 1, mends Kent on turn 2, and mends wil on turn 3 and gets danced to unlock the door towards the treasure. Raven gets the brave axe. Got both Rath and Heath for their stuff. Kent kills Eubans with 4x Hand axe on turn 3. On EP 2, Priscilla had to dodge a 57 hit axereaver and Ninian had to dodge a 40 hit nosferatu or 50 hit mage.

Chapter 20: 4/71 turns

I promoted Bartre so that he could reach and kill the boss. I managed to nab the Brave Bow.

Chapter 21: 3/74 turns

I had Bartre lure the boss over and Canas got the kill. Canas got a couple of level ups in this chapter.

Chapter 22: 3/77 turns

I had Isadora rescue Hector and bring him down south (with Ninian’s help). Isadora had to dodge a lot of attacks in order to survive the first round. :( After that, the chapter was plain sailing. Rath was recruited for the Longbow (sadly, I forgot about that in Ch. 19 and Fiora died with it).

Chapter 23: 3/80 turns

I had Florina and Guy attack Jasmine while Canas cleared the whole lower half and went for Paul (with a Flux critical). Canas promoted during the chapter.

Chapter 24: 2/82 turns

I had Heath use the Arena. Florina went to fetch the Earth Seal. Canas went to buy an Axe Reaver.

Chapter 25: 3/85 turns

Florina flew Eliwood to the east. Heath took Guy to the left. Bartre, Canas and Isadora charged up. Rebecca was stuck on a ballista. I didn’t manage to get the Elysian Whip so I guess the Earth Seal will go towards Heath and Guy will remain unpromoted...

Leave a magic user alive in Chapter 26 and keep having them hit one of your units every turn and then have Canas heal said unit. If you do that every turn you'll get 11 heals in. You need to use Heal 15 times to hit D Staves, so you just need to use Heal twice in Chapter 27, or have Canas heal 2 units in one turn at some point in Chapter 26 with Ninian's help, to have D Staves by Chapter 28.

CHAPTER FINAL PART 1 - 2/137 TURNS

Everyone opened doors and stuff. Fiora + Marcus killed Uhai, Lyn killed Ursula and Jerme with a killer bow after opening brendan's room for Jaffar, who blicked brendan (brendan's goon went after Lyn because she was low from Ursula, and died on t1 too.) Dart got rescued ahead to whomp Darin, and Eliwood opened Lloyd and Linus's door, and killed Lloyd on the enemy phase. Lucius warped Sain up to the magic dudes room and he opened the door, but canto'd out of range because he got owned. Eliwood + Hector killed Linus, Fiora and Marcus mopped up the snipers in Uhai's room, and Lyn finished killing Jerme. DORCAS, and Sain killed the remaining magic dudes, and a Filla's Might'ed Athos killed Nergal easily with Luna.

actually pretty invaluable early on since he could rescue hector and fight things kind of. Totally useless past chapter 20.

his stats kinda sucked ass so he never really did a whole lot besides a few midgame chapters before Marcus showed up, then Marcus was better for most of the game. very disappointing first pick

How difficult is it for Canas to reach A staves for Warp? I just finished Ch 25 and he has only used Heal twice :(

If you didn't visit the secret shop to stock up on barrier staves, you might have to hammerne the torch staff and spam the hell out of it in chapter 28 with Ninian's help. You don't need all the hammerne charges anyway. Pent's physic staff can help later too, and you have 20 free turns in 28x to do stuff too.

It's also crazy how drafts have changed from "I didn't kill this boss because I had 60 hit and missed once" to "I rigged a 4% crit to kill the boss" over their existance. ALL HEIL THE LTC UBERMENSCH

Hector: 41HP/20Str/15Skl/21Spd/8Lck/22Def/14Res D Swords A Axes

He was pretty good for the whole game, although he didn't do a whole lot after promotion besides chipping Limstella and Darin.

Eliwood: 45HP/26Str/18Skl/24Spd/20Lck/14Def/16Res A Swords C Lances

Was just kind of there early on, but he became quite competent around mid-game and kind of kicked ass post promotion. I understand why he's not normally free in drafts, he's too useful.

Lowen: 60HP/25Str/16Skl/24Spd/30Lck/25Def/19Res B Swords S Lances B Axes

Haha, he capped 5 stats, what the heck. At first, I thought picking him over Florina might have been a mistake, but Lowen has great availability and actually has bulk unlike Florina, so he could do things like rescue Hector ahead in Chapter 17 without having to worry about dying. Was pretty much physically invincible after promotion. I'm glad I picked him.

Rath: 48HP/25Str/21Skl/30Spd/14Lck/11Def/12Res B Swords S Bows

Best unit of the run by far. I originally picked him because he could carry promoted Hector, but he turned out to be an amazing combat unit. The Brave Bow was totally clutch and saved turns in Chapter 24 and Chapter 29 at the very least and made it really easy to get Rath levels in Chapter 23x. Having maxed speed let him do crazy stuff like double and 1RKO Uhai in Final. The lack of 1-2 range didn't end up hurting him as much as I thought it would, which was nice. MVP, would draft again.

Farina: 42HP/23Str/17Skl/27Spd/18Lck/17Def/20Res E Swords S Lances

Well, she cost a turn, but she saved at least 3 turns over the run so I guess she was worth it? I probably should have taken Marcus instead to be honest. I just wanted a flier since KP sniped Heath from me.

Vaida: 51HP/25Str/20Skl/19Spd/16Lck/26Def/7Res A Swords S Lances

Killed her wyvern brethren in Cog, recruited Renault, and opened a door and killed a Sniper in Final. Hector can kill the wyverns in Cog, and her other contributions could have been done by any other mounted unit, but she was the only mount left by that point in the drafting process.

Erk: 49HP/28Mgc/25Skl/26Spd/16Lck/14Def/25Res S Anima A Staves

Very useful. I'd say he was the second best unit after Rath. Was able to easily 1RKO stuff after a few speed and magic procs, and being able to do that from 1-2 range was quite helpful. Besides using Warp later on, his combat prowess also helped save turns in Chapters 21, 23, 29, and Final at the very least. Probably the best user of Warp in drafts due to availability and not costing turns.

Serra: 29HP/18Mgc/15Skl/17Spd/18Lck/5Def/20Res D Light S Staves

Kind of just existed until Final, where her ability to use the Rescue Staff contributed to the 2 turn completion. Priscilla would've been better.

Renault: 44HP/13Mgc/22Skl/20Spd/10Lck/16Def/19Res A Light A Staves

Was pretty useful in Final since he could actually kill things at 1-2 range, unlike Nino.

Nino: 24HP/11Mgc/12Skl/15Spd/13Lck/7Def/13Res B Anima E Staves

Totally useless. Although, I'll admit I didn't really try to make her useful, as I already had an army of competent units by Chapter 28. Doubled knights and wyverns in Chapter 31 because apparently 12 Attack Speed is good enough to double stuff at the very end of the game.

Matthew: 39HP/16Str/13Skl/22Spd/12Lck/14Def/5Res A Swords

His existence early on let me gain an early turn lead in Chapters 11 and 12. I don't think he was ever needed for combat purposes after Chapter 20 though (Eliwood could have seized the pirate castle in Chapter 25 instead of him). He did provide thief utility though, which was helpful, as that got me cool stuff like a Speedwings for Lowen, and the Member's Card that allowed Erk to reach A Staves. Kind of faded into obscurity after the acquisition of Rath and Farina. Late promotion didn't help. I still think he was a good pick though.

Dancer/10.

Athos: 40HP/30Mgc/24Skl/20Spd/25Lck/20Def/28Res S Anima S Light S Dark S Staves

Contributed in Final by using the Berserk Staff on Lloyd and killing Nergal and the Fire Dragon. It's amazing how much difference an extra 2 Con can make.

Overall, I should have gotten Heath in the second round instead of KP taken Marcus over Farina. The other units were decent enough picks I think.

Also, everyone was Res blessed.

C23 4/80 turns

Pent is the best unit ever. Hawkeye's 3 mov in the desert was clutch. Recruited him immediately, then he got danced and Kent + Hawkeye boosted Ninian so I can reach Jasmine's attacking range on turn 3. Hawkeye dropped Spear!Kent just barely far enough to pull Jasmine. Hawkeye chipped him with an Iron Axe and Kent finished with Hand Axe. Pent took on Paul. Only got filla's might of the desert items. Eliwood, Raven and Priscilla went up the area with the Knights. Oswin got promoted but didn't do anything on this map. Didn't get Genesis, sadly. Getting Priscilla to promotion is proving to be a pain.

I should organise a KOT draft one of these days. It's still abusable, but at least there are factors other than turncount in play.

C25 5/86 turns

Kent + Hector went over land for the right-most fort. Tried having Hawkeye ferry Kent over the sea or the peak but it doesn't net a 4-turn either. Hector finished Pascal with Brave axe after 2 Hand axes from Kent on EP. Hawkeye and Wil took on the lower left fort area. Kent doubled Cavs, Archers and Monks even when ferrying Hector, which was awesome. Oswin and Raven went for the upper left fort. Raven promoted turn 1 so Priscilla can do a mend. Eliwood self-improved.

Eliwood promoted at Lv16. Priscilla got danced for most of the turns and hit Lv10. I had to pull Vaida with Hector on turn 9 for undrafted fliers to get Killers. Hector had to dodge one spear per turn from 9-11. With the Eliwood C support, he faced 75 true hit on 9 and 34 on 10 and 11 (thanks to a fort). Kent can now use the brave axe (lol). I played pretty defensively in the middle and ensured that two units per turn get hit. Got the Hammerne. Pent and Louise get.

What's KOT?

It combines low turns and experience into a draft. After each chapter (or every few chapters) participants PM their turncount and exp gained in each chapter to the tournament host and he posts the results once everyone has finished up to a certain point, and people are given points based on the results. So like if Participant A finished the chapter the fastest, but got the least exp, he'd get less points for finishing a chapter the second fastest and getting the most exp.

C27 6/103 turns

Looked for 5 but I don't have a unit with 4 mov in snow, so a 5-turn would depend on dropping Ninian 10 tiles from the throne on turn 4 and getting Hector 5 tiles from the throne on turn 5, and getting rid of the bow users and the swordmaster while also killing the boss, which I think my team can't do. Kent, who was ferried by Hawkeye, dropped thwomplord on turn 5 and killed the boss with brave axe. Got Bolting. Apparently when dropped, it goes back to five uses, which is neat.

Eliwood got boots. He ferried Kent ahead to handle the sniper + myrmidons group. Pent soloed the Generals and Knights, eventually being assisted by Hawkeye. Priscilla got the warp staff. Kent had to team up with Eliwood for the Linus kill since he has Iron rune and Eliwood can't 2RKO after the throne bonus. For her to reach the village, Wil gave Priscilla to Kent on turn 2 and brave bow'd a myrmidon, and Kent dropped her ahead afterwards. Fed lots of kills to Hector, who cooperated, and Louise, who didn't. Not much to say, got all the chests, almost felt asleep. Hector got a speedwings. Repaired the warp since I had 3 hammerne use and wasn't sure how many uses I need for C32 yet.

Hawkeye got a level but it was bad, and Wil got an okay one but they aren't gonna be too useful in 32 / final so I can't be assed to write down their stats.

C32 3/144 turns

Turn 1, Eliwood rescued Hector and moved onto the fort. Pent rescued him 7 tiles ahead. Priscilla and Kent dropped Pent onto the fort, Nils danced and Pent warped Eliwood again (as far as possible this time). Eliwood keeps his area traversable by counterkilling stuff with Brave Lance. Turn 2, Priscilla rescued Nils, who then danced for Pent to warp Eliwood. Eliwood dropped Hector into Limstella's 2-range and stood next to her. On EP, he uses Brave Lance, and does so again on the PP. He needs one crit and eight hits or equivalent, and it's difficult to account for hitrates here because a second crit could well happen, and it would unnecessitate 2 hits, so going purely by critrates, there is a 64% chance for the kill. I bet the real chance is between 30% and 50%.

The stats didn't change, Hector didn't level and Eliwood was my main combattant and capped his level anyway.

C32x 1/145 turns

Eliwood got warped with filla's might and KE critted Kishuna. Hammerned warp.

C33 2+1/148 turns

The first part was pretty unreliable, but w/e. The gist of it is that Priscilla rescues Hawkeye to open Kenneth's room, Athos chipping Darin with bolting and getting danced to kill the bolting!sage, Eliwood spear critting Lloyd (retrospectively, killer lance might've been better but not quite sure). Kent tanking Jerme + Ursula (not killing, but leaving them in KO range for himself and Bravebow!wil) and Pent unlocking Brendan's room, counterkilling the generic warrior. Oswin with angelic robe pulls Uhai, who is killed by Oswin + Hector afterwards. Body Ring!Athos doubles Nergal and Dragon. I had to improvise with the fire dragon because I forgot to give Pent a recover staff, so I did it with 2x Luna + Durandal!Eliwood + Basilikos!Hector (convoy'd the armads for an odd reason) + Luna.

[spoiler=Unit Stuff]Hector: Carried the team earlygame, kinda dropped off mid and late. Still a good unit late, and with lots of EXP being dumped into him, he got strong enough to help the C33 rout.

Eliwood: Stat-screwed early on, but with a ton of self-improvement between C26 and C28x he got great again, and was my only proficient Hector ferrier. He also had the best combat in cog and later.

Oswin: Good early on, since he doesn't die and can rout enemies in a timely manner. Midgame he dropped off by a lot, though.

Kent: Got good quickly enough to promote at a high level and was one of my best combat units throughout.

Pent: Good warp range and totally awesome combat. I guess the units starting as unpromoted mages will result in a higher warp range, though probably require the VIP Card to get A staves, which is likely to cost a turn on C20. Anyway, he's the easiest to use.

Raven: Literally useless. He never made a difference to turns. Every combattive contribution from him can be replaced by a half decent 6-mov unit. Very dumb 4th pick, should've gotten Dart or Dorcas.

Hawkeye: Helped a lot in crazed beast and living legend, random jobs everywhere else. His Speed is middling, but he's capable enough of killing mooks and never dies against them.

Priscilla: She has EXP issues. Her warp range disappointed me, but she still mattered because even with just 6 tiles, rescue staff is valuable.

Wil: Killed Lloyd in C24. Not much more, I guess he allowed for a faster hero crest get in C17, he just self-improved rather than really contributing on most maps, and his lategame was pretty bad because Louise is better.

Louise: Comes later than Wil, but is better overall, because even with lots of EXP, Wil's Spd is likely to be lower when she joins, so I neglected Wil C26 and past in her favor.
