Shuuda
Also, as an aside to Shuuda, I've used both Gallade and Lucario before, and IMHO, Lucario is way better. I dunno. Close Combat/Psycho Cut/Night Slash/Leaf Blade would make for one excellent moveset. I think Gallade can even get the elemental punches in this hack. I also worry that my team is too weak to Earthquake, thanks to having two steel types.
Darrman
Here we go. Hope you don't wipe to Silver, or have any Pokémon slain by trainers! Good luck. (BTW, how many potions did you bring?)
blah the Prussian
Basically, instead of gaining a set amount of experience for wild Pokemon species at the same level (obviously varied from species to species), and then to know trainer experience you just multiplied that by 1.5. That's how it worked in every generation except Gen 5. In Gen 5, you gained experience relative to your Pokémon's level vs. There's. The lower level you were, the more exp you gained, and the higher you were in comparison to your opponent, the less you gained. It made grinding a nightmare. Also, as an aside to Shuuda, I've used both Gallade and Lucario before, and IMHO, Lucario is way better. Yeah, that sounds really annoying. In any case, the location Shuuda just went through is a bit outdated. Tojo fell in 1944!

Shuuda
Episode Thirty Eight: Victory Road It's the last stretch until I reach the Elite Four. There's one last Rival battle as well, against his fully evolved team this time. Will the team that's been carrying me over these routes lose a member, or will they all be joining me against the Elite Four? [spoiler=Episode Thirty Eight: Part One] It's time to fetch that last encounter before the Indigo Plateau. That's pretty nice. I'll take her. Panzer sure loves that orange background. Even if I had a Rhydon, I'd seriously have to think about whether I wanted to evolve it or not. Fall down hole. That's quite a puzzle you've got here. Thank you, Nurse Joy. Just what I was hoping to find. I know exactly what to do with you. Oh bugger. [spoiler=Episode Thirty Eight: Part Two] Yeah, thanks. It's not like I need move levels or anything like that. Well, I am capable of moving without having to look at someone first. Good sign, that. Bring it on. I need more levelling up! That cry rattles my soul everytime I hear it. There's nothing to be scared of though. An easy win to start things off. Gerardo is such a champ. This is slightly unsettling. Damn it all. I knew it was coming, but Rustys just got to tank it. That 250+ defence is coming in handy. I've got a bad feeling it's still going to outspeed my Scarfed Kingler. Bad feeling averted. Here's the moment I forget Light Screen is still up. It did almost half to Gerardo. I'm pretty scared of a critical right about now. Thanks for not attacking. Now your Light Screen's faded, there's nothing protecting you. Just his two scariest Pokemon left to go. Don't worry, he beat the last one. It wasn't pretty though. Oh. How unfortunate for you. I really hate fighting Gengars. They're just so brutal. Lucky, they don't take hits well. Well... obviously. Didn't you pay attention to all our other battles? Okay. Thank you, I guess. [spoiler=Episode Thirty Eight, Aftermath] Here we are. The Pokemon League. It's almost time to get our arses kicked. 80% Accuracy. I think I'll pass. Incidently, I might as well look at all the encounters I got on the way here. Awesome. Shit. Actually pretty decent. Delightful. But none of them will be going on my team for now. I fight the Elite Four the the lads that brought me here. By the way. I won't be doing any grinding before the Elite Four... but no one said anything about these little bad boys. Candy, candy, everywhere, Uncle Sweetshare has lots of share. And steroids for Panzer. And with that done, it's finally time to take on the Elite Four Challenge. I'm rather nervous. The team has plenty of offence, but also a lot of shared weaknesses. I'm going to have to hit hard and fast if I'm to win. [spoiler=Team] I don't feel there's anyone on my team who cannot pull their weight. They've got powerful moves, and good stat lines that feature speedy glass cannons, tanks, and all round attackers. They're good Pokemon, they are. Darrman
Alright, you made it to Indigo Plateau. Your Pokémon have carried you for a long time. Will you press through and defeat the Elite 4? Or will they fall to the might of 30 consecutive Pokémon of high levels? Find out, next time on this Nuzlocke Challenge! Good luck.
Blaze The Great
Hoo boy. NOTHING in a Pokemon game compares to the Elite Four in a Nuzlocke. Good luck.

Shuuda
Episode Thirty Nine: Will & Koga There's not much to say here. It's time for me to face the Elite Four. This episode, I've got two battles back to back. I hope for the best. [spoiler=Team] Before battling the Elite Four, I figured I'd go over the team. There have been a couple of changes. Gerardo the Jolteon. He's been with the team since before getting my first Pokeballs. He moves fast and hits hard with good old Thunderbolt. His special defence is good enough to endure a hit, but he's still a bit of a glass cannon. Shadow Ball and Grass Knot let him cope with a range of other targets beside just water and flying. Xian the Arcanine. A brilliant all rounder in stats. His ability is vital in hindering physical opponents. Flare Blitz is a risky move to use, but it gives him the power to deal with many opponents in a single blow. I gave him Strength in order to deal super effective damage to Lance's flying dragons. Panzer the Kingler. Giving him the Choice Scarf was a fine idea, as it lets him crush his opponents before they can get a hit off. His moveset is hindered by the fact that I haven't been able to remove Surf. Since getting a physical stab move, he's proven himself time and time again. Trapsnatch the Victreebel. Carrying the torch for Verdante. His excellent dual offences let him blast off a Leaf Storm and still contine battling with his phyiscal moves. I gave him Sludge Bomb to give him a better poison move. His low defences and speed however, are going to be an issue for him. Rusty the Steelix. With an unbreakable defence stat, Rusty can tank even super effective moves from the phyiscal side. His moveset is brutal, too, as it now features Earthquake for a powerful stab attack. Ice Fang is there to take down a Dragonite. Ulysses the Lucario. Having two steel types on the team is a problem, but Ulysses makes up for it by featuring the most powerful attack on the team; a Choice Banded Close Combat. He also brings Dragon Pulse to lay down some pain on Lance. [spoiler=Episode Thirty Nine: Vs Will] No more dawdling around. Time to get serious. The feeling's mutual. Six Pokemon each. I don't think a Jynx can do anything terrible to a Jolteon. I'll go for it. And that's just the very first Pokemon. Excitement ahead. I wasn't expecting to bring Panzer into his battle, but a water weakess is a water weakness. And it's a OHKO. Wait... don't Gardevoirs usually come with Focus Blast? Nevermind. Ulysses crushed her. Don't miss the Leaf Storm. Otherwise you'll be eating a Psychic. Things have been pretty simple so far. Let's hope it stays that way. Shit! Shit! Shit! It survived, too. I've got to make a swtich. Give it a nice smacking around, Xian. Just one more Pokemon, and I'll have won. That's almost disappointing, but I'll take it. And it's a win without any losses. One down, three to go. This hack lets you take on the Elite Four in any order, but I'll be doing it the old fashioned way. It's Koga next. [spoiler=Episode Thirty Nine: Vs Koga] Nice room you've got here. Do you come from Mahogany by any chance? Or you could go easy. I've only got two ground moves on my team, and no psychic. This might be tricky. I think Venomoth is Bug/Psychic in this hack. Better go for the Crunch then. Oh, yeah. Sleep Powder works for them. This could be troublesome. It survived, and can put Rusty to sleep again. Oi! get back 'ere, you little tosser. A fighting type. I've got just the thing for that. Just to dampen that attack. Koga's proving a bigger challenge than Will so far. Toxic Spikes maybe? I just wasn't expecting a Tentacruel. A physical attacking Tentacruel? I really wasn't expecting that. Damn you, Koga. Some Toxic stalling bollocks. Too bad for you, I've packing plenty of steel. Good going, Rusty. Don't take any of this ninja nonsense. Given how scary Proton's Crobat was, I'm pretty worried right now. Oh bugger. Smack the bat! Blimey, that bat is too strong. Finish this meance off before it drains its health back. Oh god. That's not the kind of Pokemon I want to see right now. Explosion is physical, so Intimidate will weaken it. It tried using Toxic. Then it tried using Fire Blast. Yeah. I'm not risking it hitting with a fire move. Xian is good at coming through with the criticals. Well, I've beaten two of them without losing any of my team. Let's hope that can continue next time when I battle Bruno and Karen.

Shuuda
Episode Forty: Bruno & Karen Things are about to get serious here. Bruno is by far the Elite Four member I'm most worried about. I've got two fighting weaknesses, only one resistance, and no psychic or flying attacks. [spoiler=Episode Forty: Vs Bruno] If I lose, he'll throw me in the lava. You must need glasses then. I'm shitting myself right now. That might actually be true for once. As the only pokemon on my team to resist fighting, Trapsnatch really needs to come through for me. Damn it all. He just survived. You're not making this easy for me. This isn't working out. It's working for me, now. That's one annoying Pokemon down. Just five more to go. Shit! Wow! A critical Hi Jump Kick. I was right to use those Rare Candies. God damn it. Just sod off! You sly bastard. I wish Trapsnatch had a defence boosting nature right now. He really can't take this punishment. I had no idea Hitmonchan got Hi Jump Kick. I guess it's good for me right now. I've not lost anyone so far, but I know his last Pokemon can cause some major damage. A stupid move, but Rusty can take anything it can throw. I can maybe scout some of his moveset. Yeah. That's what I was afraid of. Wait... it doesn't have No Guard? I get the feeling Drayano might have made an error here. Just in case, but I might just be risking a Fire Punch right now. Phew. That was absolutely horrid. Don't you think of doing anything funny. Like that, for example. Bloody hell. Let's just hope it doesn't get any harder. ... Good fight, Bruno. Good fight. [spoiler=Episode Forty: Vs Karen] Sparkly room. I don't get what those crystals though. They're pretty nice, but I prefer electric myself. No worries. I've got plenty of fighting moves on me. Seeing these mutts go head to head would be good in all, but I've got a better plan. Smash! That Honchkrow cry. I just can't get over it. It's odd that I never see Sucker Punches on these things. That is a nice Absol you have there. Smash! No weaknesses. That ain't good. I guess we'll just hammer it then. Oh, fuck you and your sliver of health. I think that's the first Pokemon Karen's used that wasn't killed off in one hit. I know Umbreon's are tough, but no dark type is surviving that. Oh look, another Pokemon for Panzer to thrash. And that's no ordinary Houndoom. It actually took that Waterfall. Panzer's on fire... or water... And you were easy. I like that in a trainer. That's the Elite Four down. There's only one battle left in this challenge. That's right. Next time is the finale; the battle against the Champion.
Darrman
Only Lance remains! And somehow, you still have all your Pokémon. Can you defeat the Champion? Or will his Dragonites destroy you? Hopefully Rusty will freeze them all with 4x weaknesses. And most importantly, good luck!

Shuuda
Episode Forty One: The Champion [spoiler=Episode Forty One: Vs Lance] So you couldn't just retire, like a good boy? Let's do this! I'm sending Gerardo out first in the hope that his first Pokemon is still a Gyarados. Right on. That's going to make things much easier. This is pretty easy. C'mon, Lance, you can do better than that. Like that. I knew he'd have a monster like that on his team. Panzer's a tank, but can he really go toe to toe with a Garchomp? ... ICE BEAM! (Yes, I got that desperate for ice moves.) What fantastic luck. ... He thawed out immedately. Panzer might have a bastard of a moveset, but he'll making me proud. Another dragon straight after. I'm going to get worn out if this keeps up. Shit! Like I didn't see that coming. I guess Rusty wasn't powerful enough, and I'm not sure he can take another Fire Blast. For this fight, I gave Xian the Choice Band. Since Strength is a rock type move in this hack, he can put Dragonite through the wringer. That ain't what I was hoping to see. And that's only his first Dragonite! You know, Aerodactyl is very fast. Maybe it'll outspeed my Scarfed Kingler. It doesn't. You know, Lance, there're lots of Pokemon who aren't weak to rock. You might want to pick another one up. Level 60? This suddenly got scary. I get the feeling this won't one shot. I just hope Ulysses can take the hit. Dang it. I think this might be it for Ulysses. I gave Ulysses the berry to resist a fire attack, but I made the wrong call. RIP: Ulysses. You'll be Close Combating in the great beyond now. Get in there, Panzer, and show that Dragonite how mad you are. Bloody hell. C'mon, Panzer, you can take it. RIP: Panzer. You gave it your best. However, Dragonite is locked into Outrage. That means Lance can't heal it. It's up to you, Gerardo. Now Gerardo is the true ace. That's right. [spoiler=Episode Forty One: Finale] ... Hmm. Thanks. The secret is grinding. Yeah, you missed quite a battle. It had Garchomps and everything. Thanks, old timer. ... It's time. Just tell them how awesome I am. It was tough journey, and I lost a lot of good Pokemon along the way. Now I'm the Champion. The Hall of Fame! I would've never guessed that a Jolteon could make it this far in a nuzlocke. Gerardo has been a fantastic partner through and through. Right from the start. I remember I only added Xian as a guest member to avoid Will-O-Wisps. He's come a long way since then. Despite getting a lot of water types so far, Panzer stood out because of his sheer power. Smashing Giovanni, thrashing Karen, and then beating a Garchomp. Panzer's a real hero. Rest in peace, Panzer. I feel that Bruno would've been impossible without Trapsnatch around. He's done a fantastic job filling the hole left by Verdante. Rusty was voted in as member. I wasn't sure he was best for the job at first, but he's more than proven himself. I hope he continues to endure. Once again, the team finds itself without a Close Combat. Ulysses was great for providing a powerful attack whenever I needed it. His Dragon Pulse let him go against Clair's Kingdra and come out on top. Rest in peace, Ulysses. And here they are. The Champions! ... For now.

Shuuda
Episode Forty Two: New Adventure That's right, ladies and gentlemen. Beating the Elite Four was only half the challenge. There're eight gyms in Kanto and then a battle against Red. So do join me, as I see what his hack still has to offer. [spoiler=Episode Forty Two: Part One] This could range from an Everstone to a Master Ball. It could be anything! A free boat ride. Too fancy for me, but the opportunity to thrash more gyms sounds appealing. But I need to take care of something first. This is a sight for sore eyes. Forteen losses along the way to beating the Elite Four. Just look at some of these. But I've got two new Pokemon in mind. They'll fill the void pretty well. I've got the no talking thing down pretty well. I'm guessing it's got something to do with a legendary Pokemon. That means it won't be doing anything. I flashed him my ticket, and more. It's time to set sail. To Kanto! But before all that good stuff, I'll be dealing with trainers and this nonsense. [spoiler=Episode Forty Two: Part Two] Peg? Peg? What kind of name is that? But a double battle is just perfect. That's right. Making their grand return; Typhoon the Kingdra, and Majestic the Togekiss. They've both proven themselves fine Pokemon in the past, and now they'll be taking their place on the team for good. I wish I'd kept Ice Beam now. Do I get a choice? Thanks for wasting the time of a Champion. Okay, so the trainers are starting to pick up now. Typhlosion gets ThunderPunch. That's good to know, but Togekiss can easily take it. That's not creepy at all. I'm well aware of Abomasnow's weakness. I get the feeling you're not Sashed. Trapsnatch's first appearance for a while. Damn, that Hariyama was a badass. I don't see anything wrong with sleeping. Just don't do it around my kids. Damn. Machamps are annoying to battle. How many will Trapsnatch have to kill off before they quit pestering me? Been seeing quite a few Kingdras in this playthrough. He'll go to a sleep correction facility. That's right. They'll cure the world of that disgusting condition known as sleeping. And what's a girl doing by the engine? Are we damaging the ship doing this? Get back! I didn't know Mr Mimes were that tough. And that's the last of the battles on this ship. Now to actually take care of business. The captain's face looks so depressing. Poor guy. If it means I can finally get to Kanto. Okay! Just don't hide overboard, got it? God, you're shit at this game. Can't we just battle instead? Awesome! Now I can evolve my Scyther and Onix! Oddly good timing. Next time, I'll be wandering around the Kanto region, getting my first encounters and preparing for the first gym of the region.

Shuuda
Episode Forty Three: Adventures in Kanto Having finally got off the SS Aqua, my journey through Kanto can begin. There're eight gyms, and a whole host of new enounters for me to run into. And, of course, there're still legendaries to pester me at every turn. [spoiler=Episode Forty Three: Part One] It'd almost as if it were a water type Pokemon. That's nonsense though. Yeah, no gym battle this time. I think I'm meant to do things in the proper order in this hack. Fine by me. My Arcanine is so much better than your Rapidash! I guess it's back to hording these little things. Probably a legendary. Sorry, I can't help you with that. Time to fetch another encounter. But first, a battle. Time to thrash some Kanto nerds. Enough of you. I want whatever exciting encounter I can find. You know what; Raticate actually seems good in this hack. A shame about the nature. Nevermind. Just try it, you little squirt! Yeah! Double battle synergy! You can kiss my grass! Seems I can't go to Saffron City, either. Too bad. [spoiler=Episode Forty Three: Part Two] Only one way to go then, it seems. Oh well. I wonder what my encounter will be. I didn't see that coming. Not bad, though. This is rather nostalgic. Good thing I've got a flying type. No Arena Trap for me. Pewter City, here I come. Okay, that's just random. I don't think I've seen a Bug Catcher in ages. You're even worse than the guy with the Slakoth line. Okay, no encounter in Viridian Forest then. Back to Route 2. That could be interesting... That could be shit. Finally, a town with a gym I can challenge. What part of "no legendaries" don't you understand? Oh, another one of these? That's good, I guess. Great. Now I can be the huge nerd. Yeah, no too exciting for my first adventures in Kanto. Next time however, I'll be taking on the first gym in this region. Will they be a push over, or will I be back to losing Pokemon?
