I bet you are wondering what I am babbling about! I just noticed that I made a (possibly huge) mistake! Some people may remember times when I've said my name is in the Ancient Language of the Inheritence.... Series? I forget what... Well Freohr Datia was supposed to = Shadow Mist(s) I just noticed... THAT'S NOT WHAT IT MEANS!!! D= Datia I think really = Sighing! How did I know this? Whenever there is a word with -ing as the suffix then it has it's word in the Ancient Language SWITCHED with the other word. examples: Du Vrangr Gata = The Path Wandering (Though was supposed to mean The Wandering Path, it said that on mistake) Du = the Vrangr = Wandering Gata = Path Du Weldenvarden = The Guarding Forest Welden = forest Varden = guard(ing), ward(ing), etc. How I got Datia was from: "Du Silbena Datia" = "The Sighing Mists" That means it is: Silbena = Mists Datia = Sighing Now, the other thing I'm worried about is that Freohr might be wrong too! Du Sundavar Freohr = Death of the Shadows Could this mean: Freohr = Death? This means this is what's possible: Freohr Silbena = Shadow Mists Sundavar Silbena = Shadow Mists (or if Datia is Mists = which I'm sure isn't) Sundavar Datia - Shadow Mists (THIS IS IF I HAVE TO SWITCH THE WORDS IN MINE TOO!!!) Silbena Freohr or Silbena Sundavar or Datia Sundavar = Shadow Mists I would very much like my name to mean Shadow Mists! What should I dooooo????? I just say to ignore what it means since I think that Freohr Datia is nice and that everyone knows you as that now. . . I also think that it slips off the tongue nicely as well. . . it's really your choice though, however. It's my special way of showing how much I like the books and it's a unique way to have a name! Well... When people say keep it because everyone's used ot it (and when Cym said "slip-of-the-tongue")... This is exactly what I was thinking... I think I will want to keep my name... Can't disagree with that... but I will still just stick with Freohr Datia. So for now, my name means Shadow(s) Sighing... Though I think there is a change you have to make to make it plural... But... yeah... My name now means Shadows Sighing, instead of Shadow Mists. The group named after me in my story will just be a reminder of my old (yet also never XD) name.
