You could've just made a thread about the voice actor's passing instead of bringing up spoilers so you didn't have to spoiler tab this thread, you know. My condolences to his family. If they had changed anything, I'd guess it'd be actually allowing him to survive in Nohr, but that seems unlikely considering how he has lines for the skinship stuff.
