I got Ross to the same level as him, and Ross was about 5 points higher in every single stat except for 1 in Defense, and losing by 1 resistance. Ismaire is terrible. Get any other sword user up to her low level and they'll beat her in every stat. Riev is absolute shit. For a character who is nearly maxxed out in level, he has the stats of a level 1, at level 16. I don't recall to get him in Free Map. My vote goes to Leon. Aside from his speed cap, which is a bit low for dark magic user, he is a pretty good character.
