You should promote Forde to Summoner. It is the best class of the game if it's being really harsh at you (like, great enemies and bad units) because AI prioritizes Phantoms for some dumb reason. They can be a great bait to save you AND to absorb Bolting/Ballista/Shadowshot uses.

Only my classes are ranndymized; the game as a whole is as normal. Normal growths, enemies, all that. I'm really not that wild about this sort of thing :P

Not really, frankly. I wouldn't be giving Manakete(M) Wretched Air--and it really only has 8 HP over base!Manakete, which doesn't mean much in the grand scheme. The problem is that Manakete are STUPIDLY strong--Myrrh is at bases in C16 and still one of the game's best units. Imagine that joining in 5x, or something like that. Christ.

Wretched Air is incredibly overpowered for sure, so I'm not surprised.

Its interesting Manaketes have such powerful base stats in Sacred Stones, while in other games Manakete base stats are rather low.

Are you aware of how the Manakete M class looks? It it just Myrrh's sprite, or is it in Dragon form constantly like undead Morva?

Issue with Joshua is he doesn't get much bulkier, but yeah, having reliable 2-range not named Seth is beyond welcome.

He's already quite bulky though. 28HP/6 def is not matched by average Lute until promotion. Still not impossible to get 2HKO'd by some steel lance guys, I'm sure, but he still stands out compared to some of your other units. Not facing displayed crit all the time seems handy, too.
