Kinumi Posted January 6, 2016 Share Posted January 6, 2016 i only played undertale for like half an hour BUT MY ALBUM OF THE YEAR WAS the most beautiful moment in life part 2 by bts i didn't think i would ever like every single song in one album but bts proved me wrong god bless shoutout to jonghyun's base and exo's xoxo and honourable mention to shinee's the misconceptions of you for being the only album in which i liked absolutely no songs. Freohr Datia Posted January 6, 2016 Share Posted January 6, 2016 (edited) Because I liked everything about it \o/ I loved the characters, I loved the silly adorable humour, I loved how thorough toby fox was on taking so many things into consideration like how the game remembers the progress you made even after a restart, how certain runs can affect other runs, and how he just considered people doing stuff like altering the soundtrack or hacking the game, stuff like that. Oh and speaking of soundtrack I love the soundtrack. And how toby tries to make the characters seem real flat and simple (and all of them comedic~) characters while revealing later on, either through story or through the player digging, that they have a lot more depth than they initially appear. Even before I even played the game, just hearing stuff from integ and specta, my thoughts were: this was made by a man who knows what he's doing. He knew exactly what to do to get rich off of one very small game >u> (while kinda not so small at the same time) But anyway, I don't care how popular or how hated this game is. Well, the game is a simple blast in terms of narration and breaking the fourth wall. Also sympathetic as charismatic its own characters are. Gameplay mechanics work pretty nice, lots of little secrets to discover and rediscover, etc. STRONG replay value, outstanding music, and a game that deepens beyond what a RPG could be because of its own great way of teaching by creating a personal impact on how we were so used to violence by killing always somebody. It directly show us that we can be better persons without that, and the game shows all such morality by directly showing our action's results. Man, how I love when you destroy the world in genocide route and you must wait ten minutes in order to resurrect it by selling your own SOUL. Glad that you could admit that the game has its own worth of its own. When a videogame is good, is because is simply well worked. And yes, there is unlikely no game such as 'best in whole videogaming history'. History tends to change such subterms over its own passing. But, please understand games like these are a rarity to find, now more than ever while the 'bloody-shooter adult videogaming content' prevails too much these days. Yeah, kids around their short teens playing too much Mortal Kombat, then GTA, now let's blast those nubs in CoD and more only bloody titles ...
