Katie Posted July 30, 2015 Share Posted July 30, 2015 I want to hear what you guys' favorite songs are for each Fire Emblem. Note that for recurring songs you can only list them as your favorite for one game they appear in(so no listing the main theme for every game or stuff like that). Here's my list: FE1/FE11: Probably Together We Ride. It's definitely the best recruitment theme in the series IMO. FE3: I really like the player map theme for this game. It's really catchy. FE12: Tearing Shadows, definitely. It's a really cool, intense, battle theme, and definitely not only the best new song added in FE12, but the best song in the whole game IMO. FE2: I really like Alm's player phase theme. Sometimes just sit there during my turn and listen to the music before finally moving my units. FE4: I definitely like Chapter 3: Eldigan the Lionheart the best. One of my favorite songs in the whole series. FE5: I honestly don't remember any of the music from this one off the tp of my head, so I'm just gonna say the Fire Emblem theme. FE6: I like the player phase theme for the first few chapters, Beyond the Sky. FE7: I like Softly With Grace the best. Sometimes, when facing a boss with this theme, I would just wait before advancing the pre-battle dialogue so I could listen to the song. Ditto for their death quotes as well. FE8: I think I'm gonna go with Distant Roads. I also like Rise Above though. FE9: While I haven't played this game, I've been exposed to some of its music through Smash Bros. and Awakening DLC. Of what I've heard, I'm gonna go with Clash. FE10: Same as above, and from the music I've heard, this game seems to have a really good soundtrack. It's a hard choice, but I think I'll go with The Devoted. It's a really cool, intense battle theme, and I was glad when it appeared in Smash Bros. Wii U, having already heard it in Rogues and Redeemers 3 and thought "Wow, this is a really cool song!". FE13: I think I'll go with "Don't speak her name!". It's a beautiful song that plays in one of the saddest and most memorable chapters for me, and it's a shame you can't use it for Skirmish battles. FE9: Ike's Resolution, Beautiful Princess Elincia, Life Returns. FE10: The Devoted, Dawn Brigade, Zelgius The Brave, The Black Knight Lives, Unstoppable Destiny, Eternal Bond, Hymn of Righteous. Lots more but those are the ones I vastly prefer to the others. FE11&12: (the OST for these games are quite underrated imo) A Hero's Destiny (possibly my favorite map theme in the series), Footsteps of Fates, Clash of Two Virtues, Emperor Hardin, Puppets Don't Cry, Forlorn Princess Nyna. Edit: and The Proud Commander. It's such an awesome event theme. I can't believe I forgot about it! FE13: Don't Speak Her Name, Id Hope, Purpose, Divine Decree. FE14: I've listened to only a few tracks, and I love all of them so far. I won't post my favorite tracks now though since the tracks themselves don't have names at the moment... FE4: Uh...I love pretty much every theme in this game, but my favorite is either Light and Dark of The Final Holy War. For battles, Vs. Alvis is possibly the best battle theme in the whole series FE5: Leif's Army in Search of Victory ~ Base FE6: Path of the Divine Generals, and In the Name of Bern for battles FE7: either Companions or Distant Travels, and Softly With Grace for battles FE8: Determination and Powerful Foe FE9: With Us or Crimea Attacks FE10: either The Devoted or Ascent FE11-12: Apart from a couple map themes, not very memorable soundtracks FE13: Prelude Ablaze FE14: Aqua's Song Brave and Map E3 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

FE12: Tearing Shadows FE13: Id Purpose. Since that and Don't speak her name are like universal choices, close runners up are Divine Decree and Storm Clouds (both Ablaze).
