Open the image again and look in the bottom left. But he's still a boss. And he doesn't have Lance ranks so he can't use Javelins. So unless he has a Light Brand or still has his Runesword, he can't do anything against Bows. Then again I'm not familiar with FE6 or Randomizers so I dunno.
