For those who weren't aware, Chrono Trigger turned 20 yesterday. Chrono Trigger was my first RPG ever and to this day is my favorite game of all time. Share some memories!

Happy Birthday grand ol RPG you.

I still replay Trigger every now and again, although I'm also one of the few people who also likes Cross so :P:

I saw Chrono Cross at my local GameXChange a few years ago right after replaying Chrono Trigger for cheap and picked it up. Haven't played it at all.

Its a fun game, works very differently then Trigger which is one of the reasons people who love Trigger seem to just loathe it.

I'm sure it can't be that bad. I did try it out a bit (by that I mean the first 30 minutes of it) and can already say I just really don't care for the battle system.

I actually like the battle system, but I can see how it would turn some people off, I find the % and actions allowed per turn system interesting personally.

It's interesting, but in my opinion, that doesn't mean it works well. It was just clunky and pointless to me.

That too, thanks for mentioning.

Honestly I think sometimes if it were more standalone it wouldn't get as much of a negative rep.
