Which GBA Troubadour/Valkyrie/Mage Knight is your favorite?

[Fire Emblem Fan]

Priscilla is my favorite of the bunch. I like her design a lot, and I love her stuff with Heath. I like the others as well, but Priscilla beats them all. I like her a lot. Her design kinda reminds me of Nanna, except with red hair.

1: A character's starting class determines which list they go on. For prepromotes, what would have been their starting class in their game determines which list they go on. For example, Renault is a Bishop, but his starting class would have been a Monk if he wasn't a prepromote, so he goes on the Monk/Bishop list. Yodel, on the other hand, goes on the Priest/Cleric/Bishop list, he is a Bishop but in Binding Blade Monk was not a class so his starting class would have been a Priest.

 

2: If a character is not playable in the main story, they are not included.

Clarine is second for the amusing dialogue, even in the old, kinda bad translation patch.

L'Arachel the one who benefits from divine grace! She's very cute, a good unit, she's very funny I love her personality and she has very good supports. Her support with Ephraim is the best mostly because of how funny it is. The ship sailed the second I put them next to each other in the battlefield.

Clarine is really funny in her supports, and stat wise she is a really good unit.

L'arachel would probably be my favourite if the game allowed for multiple s ranks, its just to damn hard to get her an s rank in light magic without getting the s in staves.

Cecilia has my favorite personality so I'm voting on that, but I do like using Clarine the best. I do like everyone on the list for one reason or another, though.

If only L'arachel was a better unit, alas. Her personality is pretty great too.

Priscilla > L'arachel for me. L'arachel has a better personality, but she was never all that useful. Priscilla wasn't the most interesting, but she always ended up fantastic statwise.

Not the best stats by any means, but its workable.

I'm aware. I never, never use prepromotes when I can, with literally my only exceptions being Gotohs and FE9!Stefan.

The prepromotes I generally use are Dozla, Stefan (unless I've trained up Mia), occasionally Karel Seth and Geitz, and all the Awakening characters since there really is no bad Awakening character. And then the ones you're kinda forced to use, like Gotoh.

I love all of them. Cecilia is my favorite for design, L'arachel for dialogue, Clarine for supports and dodgemaster and Priscilla for adorableness. If only i didn't have to choose.

Priscilla is the best one I think. Her bases are ok and she can help with rescue chains and the like in addition to staff utility.

Clarine would be a lot more useful if she had C Staves at base instead of D Staves. With how long it takes for weapon ranks to increase in FE6, it takes forever for Clarine to reach C Staves. Oh yeah, and her magic base and growth are both terrible. 20/1 Clarine has less magic than base Cecilia on average, which is kind of sad. She's just outclassed by Saul and Cecilia.

Speaking of Cecilia, her bases may be meh, but she's more of a utility unit that a combat unit, so her combat isn't really that important anyway. She'll have a higher Anima rank than Clarine ever will though, and Cecilia can still double knights and weighed down unpremoted dudes for some decent chip. Having 8 move and Restore access at base are what really make Cecilia useful though.

L'Arachel is like, so bad. A level 3 staff-locked unit with D Staves in Chapter 11 (really Chapter 12 in practice since the chapter if pretty much over by the time you can recruit L'Arachel anyway)? What the hell IS? Moulder was level 3 with C Staves back in Chapter 2, and on Eirika's route you get Saleh at the beginning of Chapter 12, and he outclasses L'Arachel as a staffbot hard. L'Arachel doesn't even have a move advantage over him since Troubadours only have 6 move in Sacred Stones for balance some reason.

TL;DR: L'Arachel joins really underleveled with a bad staff rank and is outclassed by all of your other staff users. She's lame.

Pris doesn't get promoted early enough for combat contributions to even matter, L'Arachel takes forever to raise. I didn't realise Mage Knights got C Anima though but she still is a huge pain to get into promotion without grinding or playing achingly slow.

Cecilia's base Mag is higher than what Clarine can be expected to have at 20/1 btw, so Clarine isn't ORKOing jack shit with Fire.

Are you talking normal or hard?

I dunno what you're saying about Priscilla, in both EHM and HHM ranked she made great combat contributions for me. She actually reached 20/20 on my HHM S rank.

I picked L'Arachel for reasons already stated by others, yet if Ursula was a choice I would have picked her. Reason being is she is a well designed villain (the chapter in which you fight her in HHM is legitimately terrifying too, and good villains inspire fear).

Clarine. I love her supports with Lance and I also love to see her dodging everything when supported with Rutger, even if that is very anti efficient lol.

Priscilla is the best one gameplay wise, tho.
