i suppose by way of a real answer, i can't stand this attitude of "i did everything right and exactly the way the tutorial said to! fix it for me right now it's not my fault!" because, barring some very unlikely computer or emulator-related defects (and, to be entirely honest, nobody who is likely to run into anything of the sort would be asking for help on this forum). you are not special, or at least not special enough that it would decide to fail for you and you alone; if it isn't working for you but works for someone else there is a 100% chance that you have screwed something up (this is what i was getting at with my "demons" quip). this idea that "i've already said everything i need to" is just as unhelpful, since there really isn't a way to know what's relevant and what isn't.

finally i really hate it when people dare to tell me to stop shitposting
