Chapter 7: 7/36

Blah. This chapter sucks so much when you only 3 units who can kill things. At least NPC!Zealot and NPC!Treck helped out a little bit. Sort of. Noah managed to kill a half-dead cavalier and bought some door keys and 1 chest key since I'm too poor to buy more than one. Merlinus and Ellen managed to obtain the Longbow, the Killing Edge, a Red Gem, and an Elixir from the villages. Wish I could have gotten the Hero's Crest since it sells for more money that the Red Gem, but I don't have enough dudes. At least the level-ups were nice.

CHAPTER 8X - 8/57 TURNS

Zealot killed Henning with the killing edge, with help from LightBrand!Marcus. Bors's speed officially passed his strength.

Sue's becoming more competant. I wish Cecilia joined now.

CHAPTER 9 - 7/65 TURNS

The boss was hax and Zealot/Marcus couldn't double him. Needed to recruit Shin anyway for Sacae route. Thany went shopping again, I had no axes.

CHAPTER 10 - 5/70 TURNS

Zealot ran to the boss with Roy and killed the boss.

CHAPTER 6 - 6/30 TURNS

Sidetracked for sue. The boss took two turns for Marcus to bring down since he's super fast.

2 Points above average for strength. Average speed, +1 skill, everything else is on track, slightly HP and Res screwed if you round up though.

Chapter 8: 15/51

Had to take an extra turn to get the Guiding Ring. Astohl was really helpful and stole a door key and a chest key for me. Noah cleaned up scraps for some acceptable level-ups. Lance used the chest key I bought last chapter to get the Knight's Crest and promote in order to kill Laygance. Merlinus spent the whole chapter getting shot by an archer so that Ellen could heal him every turn for exp. Lilina killed Cath with some help from Noah. Marcus is still awesome and will probably stay that way forever because it's normal mode.

Chapter 8x: 8/59

Had to go around the long way due to no Thany, but at least Roy and Lilina got a bunch of exp. Marcus and Lance rescue-dropped Roy ahead every turn so that he could kill fighters and mercs on enemy phase, while everyone else stayed behind to help feed kills to Lilina. I actually had to burn RNs so that Lilina would get hit so Ellen could heal her.

Chapter 9: 7/66

My 6-turn plan was ruined by a mercenary parking himself right in front of the boss on turn 5. While annoying, this did allow me to do the most ridiculous thing ever and have Roy kill the boss through a combination of 1 Light Brand hit on Turn 5 enemy phase, 1 Killing Edge crit on Turn 6 player phase, and 1 Killing Edge hit on enemy phase. What's even more ridiculous is that the resistance proc Roy got from his level up after killing the boss is what allowed him to survive the enemy phase with 1 HP, otherwise the mage near the gate would have killed him. Noah, Lilina and Astohl kill dudes for exp while Ellen heals them. Undrafted Thany buys me some more axes cause I'm running low. Fir and Shin died horrible, horrible deaths due to being in the way.

Chapter 10: 6/72

I'm like 3 tiles short of 5-turning this map, it's so irritating, but I can't kill all of the enemies in the way any faster. Ellen faced some chances of death a few times during the chapter since I didn't know what Lilina's level-ups would be like if she leveled-up on enemy phase, so Ellen distracted the fighters so that Lilina would level up on player phase instead. Besides that, this chapter was fairly simple. Noah got the Swordreaver village. Roy relinquished boss-killing duties back to Lance, so all is right in the world again. Geese showed his face, but I couldn't recruit him since Roy was all the way on the other side of the map. RIP Brave Axe I suppose. Also, why is the boss of this chapter slower than the boss of Chapter 6 despite being promoted? I don't get it.

Chapter 11: 6/78

Pretty simple. Roy and Lance charged right with help from Lalum on turn 1 in order to reach the breakable wall near the boss as soon as possible. Marcus goes down south to get the two villages down there, and everyone else goes through the middle. Shout out to Merlinus for getting villages so that my actual units could spend their turns getting valuable exp. I couldn't get the Hero's Crest or, more importantly, the Speedwings. Hopefully Zeiss will be able to make due with just one Speedwing. I recruited Klein for the 15000 gold he indirectly gives me. I really need the money.

Chapter 12: 6/84

I can't get a 5-turn clear since I don't have enough units to rescue-drop both Roy and Lalum forward. Noah, Ellen, Astohl, and Merlinus go on the right, while everyone else takes the left side. Astohl and Merlinus go collect chests while Noah and Ellen self-improve. Marcus and Lance carry Roy forward, dropping him at one point to rescue-drop Lalum ahead to dance them next turn. Lilina distracts the Warrior from across the wall so that he won't block Lance and Marcus' path to the throne since the Warrior is too bulky for any of my units to ORKO from 2 range. Lilina does have to dodge the Warrior since she is OHKOed on the dot by his hand axe. I also had to rig all of the Sleep Staves to miss since Ellen still hasn't reached C Staves for Restore yet, but since everyone rigs status staves to miss anyways it's fine.

Chapter 12x: 5/89

This went pretty smoothly, all things considered. Lalum did have to dodge the Nosferatu Druid on turn 3, but besides that, this chapter wasn't too hard. I managed to get the White Gem and steal a Lockpick from one of the thieves for more boots money. Ellen finally hit C Staves, and Lilina is ready to promote next chapter.

Chapter 13: 8/97

I had to take an extra turn in order to buy killer weapons, since not having them will cost turns later. Lilina promoted on turn 1 and went up to collect her Body Ring. Lance rescued Marcus and was then danced by Lalum so that the two of them could take care of the archers in between the two bridges. Noah gave Roy to Marcus next turn and then finished off the sniper. Marcus had to use a Killer Axe to kill the paladin on the bridge since he would have killed Marcus otherwise due to the speed penalty from carrying Roy. Eventually, Lance and Marcus were able to drop Roy near the throne before Lance killed the boss. Marcus got killer weapons (2 Killing Edges and 3 Killer Lances), Noah got the Al's Sword, Lilina used the Body Ring so she can carry Roy next chapter, and Roy seizes.

CHAPTER 12 - 6/82 TURNS

Zealot didn't orko the boss, so I couldn't 5 turn. oh well, the extra turn netted me a blue gem, worth it?

Sue will promote at the start of next chapter.

CHAPTER 12X - 5/87 TURNS

Sue ferried Roy to the boss and killed him over an enemy phase and a player phase. Zealot got the white gem.

Yay, I don't have to keep making my last post stupidly long.

Chapter 14: 8/105

If it wasn't for "Super LilinaTM" this probably would have taken way longer. Even then, it still took a while. I've never been in this map long enough to see the bandit duo show up, but nobody was near them, so their appearance didn't really affect anything. Undrafted Saul and Milady came along to pick up desert items. I got all of the desert items except for the Guiding Ring, since there was nowhere for Milady to drop Sophia without one of them getting attacked by a mage. Besides that, Lilina destroyed everything up north (Roy just killed 1 merc and repeatedly chipped a different merc that kept getting healed by a priest), including the boss. Astohl was super clutch since he distracted and killed wyverns that would have made Lilina's enemy phases really iffy (although the Silver Lance Wyvern Lord OHKOs both Lilina and Astohl, so ehh). Lance ate the boots and teamed up with Marcus to kill a different Wyvern Lord in the top-left corner. Noah did fuck all since he has 1 move in the desert, so I just had Lalum repeatedly use dance on him for exp.

I feel that a 7-turn clear might be theoretically possible by having Lilina carry Roy on one of the turns after turn 1, but since she's doubled by every enemy up there while carrying Roy and they all 2HKO her, it seemed like an exercise in futility to even attempt it. Should have rigged her defense growth too.

Once again, I lose a turn because of an enemy placing themselves in the worst possible location. Stupid Eclipse druid. Anyway, Boots!Lance, with help from Marcus (who falls behind a bit due to Lance having boots; he needed a dance from Lalum to catch up), carries Roy to the throne. Roy's support with Lance actually allows Lance to ORKO the boss without a crit (the hit rates still suck though). Noah reaches level 20, but he'll have to wait until Chapter 16 to promote since I don't have a Knight's Crest.

Chapter 15: 8/119

Man, not having a flying unit sucks. I'm not sure if I can go much faster than this since I need to leave Lalum behind to recruit Percival so I can get his Knight's Crest. Speaking of which, I had to rig two 70-something displayed hit misses from that Silver Lance wyvern so that he wouldn't kill any of Percival's scrub squad. Igrene didn't get to do much this chapter unfortunately, just 1 kill and some shopping (Thunder Tome, Torch, Chest Key). Garret of all people actually got more exp this chapter than Igrene by crit-killing a Sniper. Actually, now that I think about it, Garret probably cost a turn since he blocked Roy's path at one point, which required Roy to go around him, which then in turn required Lance to backtrack 3 tiles to grab Roy. Damn it Garret.

CHAPTER 13 - 8/96 turns

Sue was the only person who could kill the boss, and she couldn't kill the hoarde of wyverns and cavaliers on the enemy phase, so it took a bit longer than I would have liked. Miledy used speedwings.

CHAPTER 14 - 5/101 TURNS

deployed Lugh and Thany to get desert stuff. Got everything except for the silver blade and Sophia's guiding ring. Promoted Oujay, and dumped him over the cliff on turn 1 to clear things out, (or at least weaken things) and then Miledy dumped Sue over the next turn, then she followed with Roy. Cecilia staff spammed, hopefully she hits B staves in a reasonable timeframe.

I've never been able to get Cecilia to B Staves since she has to spend a lot of time rescue-dropping people instead of using staves(Clarine has the same problem).

Chapter 16: 11/130

Zeiss only costs a turn, yet that turn-count still looks mediocre. I guess Warp is just that good at saving turns. Anyways, Boots!Lance uses his awesome 10 move to carry Roy all the way to Marcus on the other side (I really wish Roy started on the right-hand side), and then Marcus, Igrene, Garret, Lilina, and Lalum accompany Roy up the right-hand side with Roy recruiting Hugh and killing a Manakete from across the wall with the Light Brand after some Lilina chip along the way. I needed to do that since Garret is too much of a chump to deal with the Manakete, or anything besides weighed down lance-usings dudes really, so Garret just splits off to collect the chests on the right. Meanwhile, a freshly promoted Noah, along with Astohl and Lance, go up the left side, with Astohl stealing the Red Gem from the Aircalibur mage. Since Noah and Lance didn't have time to kill that particular mage, Ellen baits the mage further down so that Fa can kill it for like 80 exp or something ridiculous like that. Brolinus dodge-tanked the Purge bishop on a forest tile. Douglas was kind of annoying as he usually is. I had to leave Lilina on half HP and take away her weapons(Lilina ORKOs Douglas since he's a chump) so that Douglas would attack her instead of Milady (she has to dodge or she dies). I managed to get all of the chests as well as every stealable item thanks to Astohl. I even did a funny trick where Astohl broke his 2-use Killing Edge on Narshen so that he would have enough room in his inventory to steal Narshen's Blue Gem next turn. Oh my gosh, Ellen was useful for once. Like I predicted, Restore was really useful since nobody can dodge the boss' Berserk Staff. Igrene was also really helpful since her Longbow let her kill not only the Bolting sage, but also a sniper and the Silence sage that blocked Lance's path to the boss. Marcus went left to help feed kills to Zeiss, who reached level 10 (Marcus himself got a kickass level too), but since Zeiss can't double the boss (to ORKO him with a Killer Lance) of Chapter 17 even after promotion, I'm going to hold off on promoting him until next chapter.

Fairly laid back chapter. Zeiss isn't fast enough to take on the boss, so Boots!Lance and Noah carried Roy to the boss instead, while everyone else (except Astohl and Fa) hung out by the arena. Igrene spent the majority of the chapter in the arena to build up her bow rank and acquire more boots money. I actually learned something interesting about the arena that I don't know if anyone has figured out before. I had thought that the weapon type a unit uses in the arena was based on the highest weapon level they had when recruited (which would explain why Echidna uses axes instead of swords despite being a Hero for example), but it turns out it's actually based on the highest weapon rank a unit has at the moment they enter the arena. I figured this out because Marcus was using axes in the arena instead of lances like I thought he would, because Marcus just reached S axes last chapter. Just an interesting tidbit I suppose. Astohl acted as ballista bait and Fa killed a cavalier in case anyone wanted to know what they were doing. Oh, and Merlinus bought hand axes and javelins and sold some stuff.

I think this could have been done in 5 turns if Zeiss had gotten the boots, but not giving the boots to someone for 5 chapters seemed like it would cost more turns in the long run. I actually prefer it this way since a 6 turn clear lets me get the Guiding Ring and the Secret Book. Garret has exactly enough move to reach the Secret Book village on turn 6 by using his Jesus powers to walk across the lake. Besides Garret and Zeiss (and Roy of course), everyone else got stuck in the menagerie of forest tiles and fought pegasus knights and mercs with the goal of getting Igrene as much weapon exp as possible. She's also, like, stupidly strength blessed. I also had people use up a bunch of low-use weapons that were clogging up the convoy, as I need more room for boots. Speaking of which, I'm am seriously considering selling the Guiding Ring for an extra pair of boots instead of promoting Ellen. I'll think about it.

Zeiss carried Roy to the boss. Roy actually had to kill the boss since Zeiss had to go get the Energy Ring village. Unfortunately, despite being blessed, Roy is 1 strength short of OHKOing the boss with a crit and 2 speed short of doubling the boss, so Roy faces a decent chance of death on Turn 5 enemy phase since he needs to dodge the boss at least once either on player phase or enemy phase as well as a bunch of inaccurate Steel Lance dudes. Astohl got the Knight's Crest, as well as a support with Lilina for some reason? I didn't even know I was building that support. Other dudes killed enemy dudes for exp. Merlinus bought a chest key and some door keys for next chapter.

If Lance could dodge the Berserk Staff Druid, I could have cleared the chapter in 4 turns, but the Berserk Staff has 100 hit on Lance, so I had to take a turn to rescue-drop Ellen close enough to use Restore on him. Also, Berserked!Lance is scary as hell since he doubles and ORKOs (or just flat out OHKOs Ellen and Lilina) everyone on my team. Thankfully, dodge-tank Lalum saved the day by avoiding two Silver Lance hits from Lance. Since I only have one Restore user, I had to dodge one Sleep Staff on turn 1 (both Druids die on turn 2). Since the AI prioritizes units at the bottom of your selection roster, I put Lilina down there since she's the only unit on my team with enough resistance to even think of dodging a Sleep Staff (the AI isn't stupid enough to try and put Fa to sleep even though she was even further down on the roster than Lilina). The extra turn did give me the opportunity to get more chests though, most importantly the Speedwings. I also got the Noseferatu, a Sleep Staff, and the Wyrmslayer. Astohl also stole a Red Gem from one of the Sleep Staff Druids. Since Garret is a massive liability against the swath of sword-users and magic-users inside, he goes off to the arena to get a little bit more money. He also one-shotted every one of his opponents with crits.

Pretty easy. I know this chapter is free up to twenty turns and all, but messing around in a map for twenty turns after LTCing every other map feels weird to me, so I got as low a turn count as I could in this map just to be consistent. Brave Lance!Zeiss charges ahead full steam in order to bust down those walls while Lance and Noah help carry Roy to the throne. That Killing Edge!Swordmaster OHKOs Roy with a crit, so that had to not happen. That was really the only noteable RNG related thing that needed to go in my favor this chapter. Ellen(who did end up promoting since I have enough money to buy all the boots I need even without the 5000 gold from the Guiding Ring) used Restore to counteract the Berserk!Druid, and Astohl took a snooze for the whole map due to the Sleep!Druid, whom Lilina killed with Bolting on Turn 2 to end his status staff shenanigans. Lilina also used the Angelic Robe from last chapter and helped feed one of those Warriors who give a ton of exp to Marcus so that he could level-up. Garret killed some dudes from across a wall with a hand axe.

Oh my gosh, this chapter was absurd. So let's begin. Turn 1, Zeiss rescues Lance, and is then danced by Lalum so that he can drop Lance on the Knight's Crest village. Yodel starts out strong by using the Berserk Staff given to him by Merlinus to berserk an Aircalibur Sage to help Lance clear out the enemies in the middle section. Everyone else moves forward, with Noah and Marcus rescue-dropping Roy as far ahead as possible. Lance kills a bishop and the Aircalibur Sage kills a knight on enemy phase. On Turn 2, Lance gets the Knight's Crest from the village, sends it to the convoy and then cantos ahead a few tiles. Zeiss rescues Roy, is danced by Lalum again and flies right, just staying out of range of the reinforcement trigger zone. Lilina kills the Wyvern Lord down by Lance with Bolting so that he won't block Lance's path next turn. Everyone else moves forward again, with Merlinus taking a detour to sell that Knight's Crest. On Turn 3, Yodel heals Zeiss with Physic, and Zeiss flies down 8 tiles and drops Light Brand!Roy on a forest tile, while Lance moves ahead 10 spaces and kills another bishop. My other dudes chip that group of wyverns who came from the right side of the map, since Zeiss aggroed them last turn. On Turn 4, Roy moves down 5 tiles, while Lance moves just to the edge of the reinforcement trigger zone surrounding the shrine and equips the Wyrmslayer to kill a Manakete. Zeiss moves towards the secret shop and everyone else finishes off the wyverns. Lance needs to either dodge this Manakete (66 displayed hit) or the Bolting Sage next turn in order to live. He does dodge, and kills the Manakete on enemy phase. Turn 5, the turn of glorious shopping. Zeiss goes into the secret shop and buys a whopping 27 pairs of boots and 1 Bolting (Lilina used the last of her old one killing the Wyvern Lord). Everyone else who was left up north begins using the boots. Lalum takes 4 boots, while Marcus, Noah, Zeiss, Igrene, Lilina, and Yodel each take 3 boots. Lance will get 2 boots for a grand total of 3 and Roy will get 3 boots as well, but they're busy, so they'll have to wait until next chapter to use their boots. Speaking of Lance, he grabs Roy and moves into the reinforcement zone, since there's no avoiding the one surrounding the shrine. Zeiss gets attacked by reinforcement wyverns near the secret shop, and he needs to dodge one of them in order to live. The reinforcements by Lance are too far away to attack him, although he does get attacked by the Bolting Sage, which he dodges. Turn 6, people keep using boots while Lance drops Roy within seizing range of the throne. Roy gets attacked by a Horseslayer!Knight and the Bolting Sage attacks him with Elfire, but Roy can survive even if both hit him. Roy does need to kill one of them in order to reach the throne next turn. Speaking of which, there was a problem. Even with maxed strength and a Roy support, Murdoch is just too bulky for Lance to 2HKO. However, I noticed that Lance had a whopping 1 Displayed Crit on Murdoch. Because I'm crazy enough to actually attempt something that unlikely, and I really wanted the 7-turn clear since I was so close to getting it, I committed the cardinal sin of Fire Emblem and rigged a 1% crit in order to ORKO Murdoch and clear the map 1 turn faster. Please don't hate me too much.

Just by counting squares, 14 Move!Zeiss can easily reach the boss by Turn 4 after being danced by Lalum on Turn 1, but the hypothetical 4-turn clear would only be possible if the Berserker blocking the path up north poofed out of existence and Roy had 10 move. Roy only has 7 move since he only has time to use boots on Turn 1. Besides Roy, everyone else has finished using their boots, and thus spend the chapter killing things for exp. Except Yodel, who stays behind in order to heal Zeiss with Physic. Roy has to dodge one of either the Fenrir!Druid or the Brave Sword!Hero on Turn 4 enemy phase in order to survive, which is the only chance of death anyone faces in this chapter.

Man, it takes forever to get that left switch without warp. So Marcus and Noah carry Garret with them to help clear out enemies on the way to the left-hand switch as well have someone to grap the left-hand chests, while Ellen and Fa clear up the leftovers that they leave behind. Everyone else is on the right. Igrene and Lilina go and take care of the right-hand switch, activating it on Turn 3, while Lance and Zeiss rescue-drop Roy towards the door to Zephiel's room while Roy uses boots in the meantime. Yodel put that Berserk!Druid to sleep so that I wouldn't have to deal with his crap (using the Berserk Staff on one of the Snipers in that room to kill the Druid would have been smarter now that I think about it). Astohl goes up and gets all the right-hand treasures. Since Noah and Marcus can't step on the left-hand switch until Turn 6, Lilina and Igrene make their way over to Lance, Zeiss, Yodel, Lalum, and Roy to help out once the door opens. Zephiel is a bulky motherfucker and Lance can't take him down in one round, even with two crits, so I spend Turn 6 clearing out the enemies in the throne room so that people don't die on enemy phase. On Turn 7, Lilina chips Zephiel with her Fire Tome so that Lance can take him down with two back-to-back Killer Lance crits, and then Roy seizes.

Chapter 23: 3/183

This was a pretty fun chapter. On Turn 1, Igrene moves up with her full move and ORKOs the Manakete with Miurgre, and is then danced by Lalum so that she can move up and ORKO the next Manakete. Lilina kills the Drud who was next to the first Manakete. Weaponless!Zeiss moves up next to the Killer Ballista. If you're wondering why Zeiss has no weapons, it's so that the status staff druids won't try and sleep/berserk him. Lance and Marcus rescue-drop Roy up as far as they can and Noah move alongside them. Yodel moves up and puts a Wyvern Lord to sleep, and Ellen does the same to that Killer Ballista. People need to dodge a bunch of stuff on enemy phase. On Turn 2, Lilina kills the Wyvern Lord that attacked Zeiss last turn with Bolting so that Zeiss can move ahead. Lance kills a Druid blocking the path, and Igrene move forward through the now open path to kill another Wyvern Lord. Yodel moves up and uses Physic on Zeiss. Lalum then dances Yodel, who moves ahead and puts one of the status staff druids to sleep, since otherwise I won't have enough units to clear the path to the throne. Marcus and Noah rescue-drop Roy ahead again. I positioned my units in such a way so that only Yodel has a high chance of death, since he has the lowest avoid by putting several of them next to eachother so that the wyverns can only attack a unit from 2 spaces. Igrene and Noah get put to sleep. On Turn 3, Yodel trades Zeiss a Killer Lance so that Zeiss can help clear a path to the throne, and then uses the Rescue Staff to bring Roy close enough to seize. Marcus kills one of the druids in front of Brenya and Zeiss kills a Sniper. Lance moves ahead 13 spaces and is then danced by Lalum so that he can kill Brenya. Before seizing, Lilina kills a Wyvern Lord for one last level-up, and Fa buys a bunch of Elixirs for next chapter.

Chapter 24: 9/192

Everybody killed dragons and Roy seized thrones and Yodel used the Rescue Staff to bring Roy to the 4th and last thrones. RIP Rescue Staff. Noah was 1 strength short of ORKOing Jahn with Durandal, so Lance finished Jahn off with Malte and reached level 20. Go Lance. Zeiss helped keep Fa from dying to reinforcements and killed one Manakete with a double Killer Lance crit.

Well, at least I did it in under 200 turns? To be honest, I'm not very familiar with warp-less efficiency in FE6, so I have no idea how good or bad this turn count is. Probably bad, since not having a flier for 14, 14x, and 15 costs, like, 11 turns or something ridiculous like that. Seriously, they take pretty much twice as long without a flier. Lance may have been a force of destruction the whole game, but man, I really should have taken Milady when I had the chance. I'll do unit evaluations once somebody else posts, cause this one post is ridiculously long as it is.

CHAPTER 1 - 4/4 TURNS
figured out a way to get Roy some more exp on turn 1 and 2 so that he'd actually hit level 2 in this chapter. With strength and speed, he ORKO's the fighters in the following chapter, which helped a lot.
CHAPTER 2 - 5/9 TURNS
Bors+Marcus dumped Roy on the fort on turn 1 after Wolt and Roy got rid of the soldier in the way, and Roy killed a few things on the enemy phase, then cleared a handaxe bandit while Bors killed a soldier Roy couldn't quite kill on turn 2 allowing Marcus to charge through and ferry him ahead to Ward on turn 3, who dropped him ahead, and he killed some more fighters on the enemy phase. Marcus recieved the Armourslayer from Thany on turn 5, allowing him to kill the boss.
CHAPTER 3 - 7/16 TURNS
Marcus and Roy went to the throne room, Ward got the Mend staff, and Bors recruited Lugh for his items I guess.
CHAPTER 4 - 4/20 TURNS
Marcus killed Eric, Roy actually doubled the cavaliers this time around so he got a lot more exp, and his actually really hax.
CHAPTER 5 - 3/23 TURNS
Bors and Marcus dumped Roy forward on turn 1, and undrafted Lance triggered the door on turn 2, allowing Marcus to run though, and Roy to get close enough to seize on turn 3 after Marcus killed the boss.
CHAPTER 6 - 6/29 TURNS
Got Sue, and even fed her the bosskill. Worth it!

Also, I didn't know that undrafted units were allowed to open the gate in Chapter 5. I guess there isn't really a rule about it or anything, I had just assumed that only drafted dudes were allowed to open the door.

You didn't get Marcus to D Axes yet, shame on you.

C swords is more important!

All you have to do is use the wait command, so I assume it's allowed, since its not using a key or anything. I could have used Wolt and got him 10 less exp if it's a huge dealbreaker, and it doesn't really matter in the long run since he'll never do anything useful probably.

I don't really mind if you use Lance to open the gate.

Oh yeah, I guess C Swords is more important for Marcus in your case since you don't have one of promoted Rutger/Dieck/Thany/Lance/Alan to deal with Henning, so you'll need Zealot and Marcus to deal with him.

EDIT: Oh yeah, unit evaluations:

Roy: Well, he was pretty bad at first, but he got enough exp to keep up, and he got really stuffed in the isles. Being stuck at level 20 for 9 chapters before being able to promote was kind of annoying, especially since Roy still had to take part in a lot of combat (including killing a boss) even after reaching level 20. Speaking of which, Roy ended up killing more bosses than Zeiss, which I find hilarious.

Marcus: I always wanted to bring Marcus to endgame, so I did. I mean, why not? He has the whole game to build up his weapon ranks to use the legendary weapons, unlike Garret or Zeiss for instance, and he has a horse, so even if his combat drops off he can still rescue-drop people. Oddly, Armads ended up being the most used legendary weapon out of the 7, despite Malte and Miurgre being partially used before Chapter 24.

Lance: Amazing. A force of death and destruction the entire game. The only bad thing about him is that he can't fly, and to be honest, that's kind of important. Not having a flier in Chapters 14, 14x, and 15 cost so many turns, so even though Lance is amazing and all, Milady (or even Tate if you're 3rd pick) should always be drafted before him or Alan. Also, his support with Roy is the only thing that made the 7 turn clear of Chapter 21 possible, so that's cool I guess. Thany and Alan can do the same thing with their Roy supports though, so it's not that notable.

Noah: While generally useful to have around, I'm not sure if he actually saved any turns outside of his contributions in Final. He made it really easy for Lilina to get exp early on though, so that was nice. I kind of just wanted him so I could have a Durandal user for endgame, but since Lance got half-way to S Swords without me going out of my way to boost his sword rank past Chapter 3, I'm certain that Alance can reach S Swords with a little bit of favoritism towards their sword rank, so Noah's C Swords at base isn't even as big a deal as I thought.

Zeiss: Did not max strength, 0/10. All jokes aside, he was pretty awesome when he was around, since he has massive strength and takes, like, 1 damage from ballistae after promotion with the Delphi Shield. He's completely outclassed by Milady and Thany though, since they're actually around for Chapters 14, 14x and 15, where you really want a flier unless you like taking twice as long to finish the map. Also, boots. He got them.

Ellen: Terrible. She's so bad. The only useful thing about her is that she can use Restore, but even then, she has to actually reach C Staves first, unlike Saul or Cecilia, and Clarine can at least rescue-drop and keep up with your mounted units. In all honesty, I should have sold her Guiding Ring so I could have bought another pair of boots for Roy.

Lilina: Was the only combat unit I had who could move in the desert, so she kept the Chapter 14 turncount from being even worse, but even then, that was only possible because of rigging her speed. Besides that, she was the best status staff-bait on my team since she was pretty much the only unit I had who had any chance of dodging them. Also OHKOs throne Manaketes in Chapter 24 because their resistance stats suck.

Yodel: Very useful. Obsoleted Ellen in pretty much every way, since he had more magic, more bulk, and a higher staff rank. The Rescue Staff was pretty helpful in Chapters 23 and 24, as was Holy Maiden. Fairly decent pick, although I think Niime might be a slightly better pick if she's still available.

Igrene: The Longbow saved a turn in Chapter 16x by killing enemies blocking Lance's path to the throne, and the Brave Bow helped break down the wall by Zeiss. Also killed Manaketes in Chapter 23, and just had really good combat in general. Also doesn't cost turns like Sue or Shin, although they're probably worth the turns that they cost I would guess.

Garret: Well, he cost a turn, so that's pretty lame. Still, having a spare unit to go do side objectives while everyone else does more important things was nice. He got me a fair bit of boots money to be fair.

Astohl: So good. Even though his combat falls off a bit after the isles (and also due to reaching level 20 and being unable to promote), the sheer amount of money he got me was incredible. Also the Delphi Shield. Best Thief/10. I mean, Chad can steal just as well as Astohl, but he's never reaching C Swords ever. Lol Cath.

Lalum: Dancer/10. 13 move Lalum is the best since you don't need to rescue-drop her all the time to keep up with your mounted units.

Merlinus: Having someone to visit villages and shop while my actual units go off and do more important things is actually really helpful. He also protected my undrafted early game dudes from entering combat and burned RNs. What a guy.

CHAPTER 8 - 12/47 TURNS

Managed to shave a turn on the last run by having Zealot rescue Sue on turn 3 or 4 and she killed a thwomp blocking Marcus and Zealot from progressing with fullmove, then they double armourslayer'd the boss. Got the treasure with Chest keys.

CHAPTER 8X - 8/55 TURNS

Used LightBrand!Roy to help with the Henning kill because uh, I forgot to take it off Roy in the Prep screen. Marcus and Roy have C Support whenever one of them has a spare turn.

CHAPTER 9 - 6/61 TURNS

Dumped Roy on turn 4 in range of Fir and he ORKO'd her with the iron sword, what a chump. He Light Branded Scott Twice, then I used the newly recruited Shin to transfer the Light Brand to Marcus to put Scott in KO range of Killing Edge!Zealot.

CHAPTER 10 - 5/66 TURNS

Zealot fullmoved every turn with Marcus and Sue clearing his path. He killed the boss with the Killing Edge. Oujay got a lot of exp here.

CHAPTER 11 - 7/73 TURNS

Got all the villages and Klein. Thany bought a couple Iron bows and some chest keys.

CHAPTER 12 - 6/79 TURNS

Ward raided the chests to the east, while Oujay killed the enemies before tanking the sleep staff. Bors + Merlinus got the other chests, and Chad recruited Raigh so I could sell his nosferatu tome. Zealot ORKO'd the boss this time around, which was nice. Miledy next chapter, woo!

EDIT: Forgot 12x. Sue promoted on the last turn at level 16.

CHAPTER 12X - 5/84 TURNS

Nabbed a couple elixirs and the white gem. Sue + Light Brand Roy killed the boss.

CHAPTER 13 - 7/91 TURNS

Don't have a unit that can handle all the enemies near the gate so I needed Roy, Sue and Miledy to do so. Oujay promoted at level 16 on the final turn.

CHAPTER 14 - 6/97 TURNS

Dropped Oujay across the gap, then Miledy gave Roy to him, and Oujay barely ORKO'd the boss with the Killing Edge.

CHAPTER 14X - 3/100 TURNS

Dropped Oujay across on turn 1, and then gave Roy to him with Miledy on turn 2, and he killed the boss on turn 3.

CHAPTER 15 - 3/103 TURNS

Delayed a turn for the Hammerne staff. Miledy killed the boss with the horseslayer. Recruited Percival for his items and a knight crest.

CHAPTER 16 - 9/113 TURNS

Miledy having the boots helped a lot in the recruitment of Zeiss, she took Brave Bow!Sue to help break the wall. Marcus rescued Roy ahead to get Hugh and to get to the throne faster, while Oujay killed the Manakete in the way to the chests on the right so Bors and Ward could raid them. Fa used her chicken powers a few times, and then helped Zealot get the other treasure with Merlinus and Lalum.

CHAPTER 16X - 7/120 TURNS

Fa was the real MVP, Marcus ferried her far enough ahead so she could tank the berserk staff. Oujay fought enemies on the right side and hit S Swords, while everyone else charged the bossdude, who died to Sue + Miledy. Zealot is close to S Swords too, Durandal use on him would be nice.

CHAPTER 17 - 4/124 TURNS

Miledy ferried Roy and killed the boss.

CHAPTER 18 - 3/127 TURNS

Sue killed the boss. Everyone else self improved. Merlinus was sacrificed for the cause. I'll do stats since I haven't in a while. Bors bought some killers and 1-2 range weapons.

Cecilia used Bolting Three times on the walls to break them faster, allowing Miledy to get to the throne quicker. She oneshotted Gel with a Killer Lance crit. Only got the Longbow village, but I have so much money I don't think it matters.

Cecilia is really close to B Staves.

CHAPTER 20 - 5/138 TURNS

Man Arcard is tanky.

This chapter was really annoying, since Lalum was 2HKO'd at like 45 hit by ballista and bolting and there wasn't anything I could do about it. Well there was, Bors tanked one for the team after he got Berserked while Carrying Niime and killed Merlinus. It was beautiful.

Miledy charged ahead, and cleared out most of the enemies for Sue to pass Roy on to her on turn 2. She opened the door on turn 3, and dropped Roy turn 4, killing Arcard on turn 5. The paladins raided the treasure room for a sleep staff, Blue Gem, and Guiding ring. Zealot hit S Lances and swords in this chapter, and Cecilia hit B Staves. Dayan get, he's actually pretty decent!

CHAPTER 20x - oh my god fuck this chapter

roy got put to sleep and then it was the second last throne

nothing really happened of note, miledy got a shin level.

CHAPTER 21 - ALL OF MY HATE 6/144 TURNS

i hate this chapter

Miledy rescue dropped Cecilia ahead on turn 1, and she rescued Oujay carrying Lalum on turn 2, she danced Ceclia after she repaired rescue, and she rescued Lalum down again, while Miledy killed the manakete with Malte. Eventually Oujay was rescued carrying Roy (who was chained down to him by my mounts) and he killed Murdoch on turn 5 player + enemy phase (since Miledy couldn't) and Roy seized on turn 6. Thany bought 20 pairs of boots, and Sue and Dayan managed to use one each. Used a Hammerne charge on rescue.

CHAPTER 21X - 5/149 TURNS

Rescued Roy over the walls with Cecilia after he used boots for the first 4 turns. Sue made herself have 14 move with three more pairs of boots, and Miledy used two more pairs herself. Cecilia unfourtunately only got to use one on turn 1, but at least Lalum only had to dance twice so she got 3 boots uses in.

Boots count: 5 remaining, Roy, Miledy and Sue have 14 move, Lalum has 12 move, Ceclia and Dayan have 10 move.

CHAPTER 22 - 5/154 TURNS

Cecilia Hammerne'd rescue on turn 1 again, and she was rescue Dropped ahead by Sue after Sue was danced by Lalum. She rescude Lalum ahead on turn 2, was danced, and Berserked the General Blocking the path to the Hero, so he'd aggro onto the Hero. She finished the General with Bolting on turn 3, was danced, and Sue finished killing the Hero with the Longbow from over the wall allowing her to finish stepping on the switch on turn 3. Miledy carried Roy to the throne room which he wasn't able to open until turn 4, but Zealot used my remaining 3 boots (Cecilia used the other two) and killed the other Hero with the assistance of Dayan (and Durandal) Roy opened the door to Zephiel on turn 4, and Miledy Malte'd him over the course of turn 4 PP, EP and turn 5 PP allowing Roy to seize. Cecilia broke Hammerne on Rescue.

CHAPTER 23 - 2/157 TURNS

Zealot killed the manakete in the way, and then Cecilia ran really far ahead, rescued Miledy, and then was danced by Lalum. She ran farther ahead and berserked one of the druids, who used their turn to attack a stray wyvern rider (and clear out some clutter around Brunya). Miledy moved ahead as well. Cecilia rescued Roy withing seizing range on turn 2, Sue was danced by Lalum to kill the Manakete in front of Brunya (the druid behind her was no longer there thanks to the berserk staff) and Miledy killed Brunya allowing Roy to seize.

CHAPTER 24 - 8/165 TURNS

Cecilia used the last remaining rescue staff uses, and Forblazed some Dragons. Sue killed most of the dragons, since she had more range than anyone (but Cecilia and Roy) but Miledy and even Zealot helped out with one each. Cecilia nuked the fuck out of Jahn and Roy seized on turn 7.

Fa ate the dragon reinforcements because I actually trained her because she was better than some of my other chumps.
