Chapter 9 (11/59):

Went shopping for extra steel bows and hand axes. Ephraim got the angelic robe.

Deployed Artur (Franz replacement) in order to recruit Lute (Amelia). Strangely another pair with an actual relation towards each other. Troubadour!Gilliam (Tana) carried Artur around. Pretty much Innes and Tethys led the pack with everyone else trudging behind. Saleh got the ocean seal pirate.

When I got to Lute’s group, I stayed out of her range since Innes will one-shot her and Tethys would die from another fighter’s attack plus her attack. I had to disarm Innes for one turn and then recruited Lute with Artur. Innes and Tethys blocked the enemies from hitting the undraftees afterwards. Saleh gets the dragonshield village when he eventually arrives.

Eventually Tethys gets the rapier village and Innes takes on the rest of the enemies including the boss. I had to rig it so Innes kills all the enemies that included Journeyman!Binks, a mercenary, and an archer and Tethys crit-kills the other archer on EP11. Got all the villages so I got another angelic robe.

Chapter 10 (6/65):

This chapter was pretty simple. Innes rushes to the boss. Saleh rescues and gives Ephraim to Innes. Tethys backs up Innes. L’Arachel and Tana follow behind killing enemies. Tethys opened the door and barely survived on the EP3. Innes moves through dropping Ephraim to his right in which the closest archer gets killed by him. I only had to rig 2 hand axe hits for Tana on a mercenary that gets in Innes’s and Tethys’s way, a short bow crit for Tethys on the northernmost myrmidon and both of Ballista!Tethys and SteelBow!Ephraim’s hits on Falcoknight!Pablo (Iron Sword) on PP5. Ephraim gets the boss kill and then seizes the next turn. Cavalier!Fado (Gerik replacement) with 8 move joins along with EirikaGreatLord!Marisa (Innes replacement) and Tarvos!Knoll (Tethys replacement). Fado is pretty tanky aside from his hp and has the Hero Crest that Innes has been waiting for since last chapter when he hit level 20. I skipped Pirate!Kyle (Marisa replacement) as I see no use for him or his iron axe.

Chapter 11(6/71):

Innes used the hero’s crest to promote into a Hero with 7 move. I also bought some torches, chest keys, and new equipment for Fado and extra javelins, hand axes, and steel swords.

Sent Tana and L’Arachel towards the boss. Everyone else went towards SuperRecruit!Duessel (Dozla) and EphraimLord!Forde (L’Arachel).

Ephraim went on torch duty and did little else. Fado rescues Saleh and Innes takes him as he one-shots most everything even when rescuing someone. Innes deposits Saleh to the right and fights the bottom with the help of Tethys and Duessel as an NPC. Fado takes the far left chest room.

Tana pushes through the side with a hand axe so she can get the archers in the chest room and then equips the killer axe to help against the super recruit boss. L’Arachel helped push some enemies out for Tana but otherwise did little else as the boss died before the reinforcements could show up at the beginning. L’Arachel was also key in RNG manipulation especially for when Forde decided to fight eyeballs that can 2RKO him.

Duessel was a huge help in killing everything that came after him. He started with a 16 use Horseslayer and proceeded to have only 4 uses at the end of the chapter (and he crit most things as well). I managed to get the secret book and short spear chests before the chapter ended.

Chapter 12 (8/79):

Swordmaster!Gerik replaces Saleh so it looks like I have my whole team now. (Joshua replaces Hayden…) Innes gets the secret book and Tethys gets the chapter 10 angelic robe.

L’Arachel and Ephraim stay behind for the reinforcements at the beginning. Saleh, Gerik, Tethys, and Duessel handled the right side and went for the villages. Innes, Tana, and Fado took the front with the former two having fiendcleavers. Fado and Innes formed a good rescue chain where Fado rescues Tana and Innes follows behind and drops Tana. Innes took the top right while Tana and Fado handled the boss area. The boss was a bow wight equipped with a silver bow and steel bow which I cannot get him to switch to. The top left reinforcements decided Tana and Fado were more desirable than the village group (or this could be that they were still approaching the villages). Tana ends up getting the boss and the remainder of the enemies. I could have done this chapter faster had I used by bottom right group better but I don’t want to do this chapter again. Also Shaman!Neimi and her energy ring were gotten.

Team as of Chapter 12:

Chapter 13 - 2/90

That's about as as fast as one can go without a dancer!

Aias had 23 defense and was a bow Wight, which made this far more complicated than it should've been. On turn 1, I had to pile Natasha, Cormag, and Tana as close to the boss as possible, and hope that no one died. On turn 2, Joshua, L'Arachel, Marisa, and Vanessa punched a hole through the enemies, so I could use a melee Light Brand (Natasha), Silver Lance (Cormag), and melee Wind Sword (Tana) to kill him. Gerik wandered south and trained on the archers there.

Chapter 14 - 10/100

Gerik and Marissa went treasure-hunting together, while everyone else charged towards the throne room. Carlyle was a little girl with a Silver Lance, and Cormag had no problems showing off who was better! Forde opened two doors, which helped immensely. Got the Energy Ring and a bunch of killer weapons.

Chapter 15

Houston, we have a problem:

llCicbz.png

1mf7ANW.png

Caellach has Nosferatu. . .so yeah. . .

I'm actually stumped on this one. The only unit that hits double-digit damage is Gerik with a Shadowkiller. I can attempt Cormag/Joshua with an Axereaver, but I'm not sure if it'll be enough. Caellach, at least, can be 4RKO'd thanks to the Silver Lance.

chapter 16 (8/143)

tana is turning into the only combat unit i have lol

my other units are simply dont have the STR stats to kill much or theyre too frail to put in the front lines

dancer!neimi is also almost useless because having only 4 move is ridic she just gets left in the dust every time after like turn 2

anyways... for the chapter

tana walked up and killed litterally everyone

she prolly killed 20-30 units (mostly the warriors/heroes/sages) this chapter while the rest of my team killed maybe a combined 10 (the pack of druids in the south)

after tana killed everything near the throne knoll seized

chapter 18 (13/159)

this was absolutely ridic one of the gorgons with shadow shot had max magic and was oneshotting some of my units

kyle being garbage cost me 2 turns also because guess what! on one of the eggs with 20 hp kyle did 9x2 with iron sword

and he couldnt double with anything heavier then an iron sword .. fun times in the end tana had to come back to save him

because if the goron spawned itd double and kill him

apart from that tana went north and killed everything while holding a hand axe

syrene took the right part of the map after giving him gnarm (only way shell kill anything)

while colm and ephraim headed south

Chapter 15 - 13+4/117

That was EXTREMELY STUPID. Dragonshield to Joshua, so he'd survive. Deployed Neimi so she could ferry Fado.

Natasha and Joshua peel off to the left, Forde, L'Arachel, and Vanessa go right, and everyone else runs straight down. As soon as Ephraim spawned, two myrmidons suicided on Ismaire (which is definitely not meatshielding), so I said screw it and used her as An Actual Unit. Fado was a thief, which made this a lot less time-consuming. While trying to get a piece of the action, Moulder picked up a Killer Bow, which he used to actually contribute something. The only reason why I'm able to type this, instead of having to resort to more drastic measures, is because Gerik scored a critical hit on Valter while he had Swordslayer (37/52), and then Valter hit himself over the head with the Devil Axe (19/52). This allowed Gerik to hit again with Shadowkiller (8/52), and after a short trade chain, Tana takes Shadowkiller and finishes (-2/52). Caellach was chipped down by Joshua and Natasha.

The worst enemies, by far, were the reinforcement Shamans. L'Arachel took forever to kill them!

Chapter 16 - 6/123

Promoted Natasha (Ranger), Gerik (Great Knight), and Joshua (Paladin). Gerik and Joshua have six movement, and Natasha retains her seven movement. Loaded Gerik up with every last axe (especially the Devil Axes). Hopefully, I'll be able to make him wield Garm!

I walked to the boss, then Natasha and Cormag teamed up and did him in. Orson was pretty bad when I got him, and he wasn't much better afterwards (his defenses were still garbage). Would've done five turns, but I couldn't bait the Hero in front of Orson.

Boots to Cormag. Promoted L'Arachel (Mage Knight) and Cormag.

Did I get Gerik up from D axes to B? Did I manage to get Fimbulvter off of a random Longbow crit? Did Marisa and Cormag get godly levels?

Chapter 5x: 10/31

Ephraim is one of my draftees :(

Orson why :(:(

Luckily Marisa is here

Marisa carried Rennac until I reached the corridor, since she had no 1-2 range and Rennac had scored a couple of 1-2 range lances off Gargoyle Artur.

It was looking pretty bleak growths-wise until Marisa's last level.

Chapter 6: 3/34

Normal programming of Tana and Dozla doing everything resumes. Neimi and Colm got the antitoxin village and built support.

I think I've got a good idea of Dozla and Eirika's growths. Not so much L'Arachel and Tana.

Chapter 7: 3/37

Flew up. Tana walked up. Stole the Energy Ring. Murray was a sword bonewalker, so Dozla could OHKO him.

anDDTW7.png

fHDwgom.png

Neimi got a level. With 4 move, it's not going to cut it.

Chapter 8: 6/43

GO NORTH. I wanted the Elysian whip, so once I got near the boss room Dozla picked up L'Arachel and dropped her over the river. They positioned themselves so that the path to the chest was only blocked by a door.

I'm starting to feel Eirika's lack of durability now, the reinforcement mages have 8 move and love to take potshots at her.

After all that, it turns out that Wyvern Lord/Wyvern Knight have 5 and 4 move respectively, so Dozla's not going to promote any time soon.

chapter 20 (11/173)

if knoll (erika replacement) wasnt such shit this wouldve took like 5 turns

tana headed south and crossed the mountains and slaughtered everything with hand axes (she went through 3 of them)

then headed for the boss while everyone just held the cyclops away

kyle picked up knoll and had to wait about 5-6 turns because of the 3 eyeballs and gargoyles that spawn as reinforcements for a few turns

tana had to clear litterally EVERYTHING before knoll could get dropped in the forest tile to seize because knoll

couldnt take hits from anything

(hes sitting at like 20 hp.. 4 speed 3 def 1 res)

finale sacred stones (4/177)

kyle makes a noble sacrifice

kyle picked tana up got danced and dropped her on the other side of the chasm

kyle then died for his country as a gorgon with shadowshot one shot him. i suppose I couldve reset until the gorgon with ~80% hit missed, but kyle already served his purpose

tana then killed everything blocking the way with handaxes (went through like 3 of them again) and went for lyon

had to rig a killeraxe crit vs lyon because tana had about 28 hp by the time she got to lyon and lyon had 38 true dmg vs her with 80 hit

but i mean she had 45% crit so its not really rigging :)

finale fortmolis (1/178)

poor guy, he never stood a chance

tana had the exact amount of move needed to reach him without getting danced

and single handedly slayed the demon king

she got a crit on the first hit w/o any rigging and orkod him

i didnt actually need the crit, since i couldve danced colm with vidofner and finished him off

but its rather fitting that tana, who carried the team on her back, solos the boss

my team:

http://puu.sh/kYQij/9c5b0637a8.jpg

Knoll (erika replacement)

holy fucking shit this was the worst unit ever. started off unusable in the early game since even with an iron sword the brigands doubled and orkod him

but then it also turns out he doesnt have growths in anything but skill and luck. by the midgame he was in full baby mode where he had to be kept out of ALL combat

probably couldve finished my run 30-50 turns faster if he was a half decent unit

http://puu.sh/kYQDt/7ee428e64a.jpg

Tana (moulder replacement)

saved my run. got her on chapter 2 and it took a few levels for her to rlly get going but then she got ridiuclous. i dont have a change log but just going

off how she leveld her growths mustve been something like 45%hp/70%str/15%skill/70%speed/50%luck/50%def/50% res

she easily killed 3 or 4 times the amount of units as the rest of my entire team combined over the course of the game

Not a stretch at all to say she solod the game

http://puu.sh/kYR6Z/e80b141492.jpg

ephraim (ephraim replacement)

uh.. ephraim ended up replacing himself and so when i took erikas route he dissapeared..

he mightve been slightly decent if i went his route but when he rejoined he was just too weak to do anything

he helped with rescue chains like once or twice and that was p much it the entire game

http://puu.sh/kYRhn/a7a0c151fe.jpg

colm: innes replacement

he was actually ok. he had a strength growth that actually existed as well as skill and speed growths that were both 100%+

his hp was just rlly low and he was pretty squishy in the lategame despite his massive defense

http://puu.sh/kYRoQ/86f341d78a.jpg

forde: rennac replacement

terrible unit. p much did nothing. after he got the body ring he became slightly better but he still did nothing

he reached a solid 50% crit when holding a kller lance but his strength was too low to make it count

50% crit doesnt mean much when your doing 3-5 dmg

http://puu.sh/kYRpq/a1dc0513e4.jpg

syrene: dozla replacement

was a fairly solid unit. had great defenses and speed but her strength was also just low. she had a hard time killing anything especially after chapter 15 or so unless she was holding gnarm

All in all im def not setting any records but it was my first draft and i had fun

in hindsight i probably shouldve used my resets and gotten a better erika replacement since knoll was absoutely unusable

I really piggybacked on tana the entire game and route chapters were the bane of me simply because tana had to walk around the entire

map to kill everyone

Chapter 18 - 6/134

My team had scrambled eggs for breakfast. Cormag zipped north, then east. Forde and Vanessa went north. Gerik went all the way south, while Tana and Marisa went down the other branch. Everyone else headed to the final egg cluster. Couldn't have done this without the Longbow~!

Stats later.

Chapter 19 - 3/137

That's about as fast as I can go, without Warp/Rescue/dancer. Unfortunately, Riev was a flying monster, and Cormag JUST so happen to have Siegmund. . .

Checked out Marisa's promotions. Both have four movement. Looks like she's gonna be a Knight forever!

Chapter 20 - 8/145

After emptying out Rausten's armory, I chose the southern path, for the least amount of headaches. Cormag picked up L'Arachel, and ran with her to the throne. This is doable in seven turns, if I'm willing to rig the RNG for a lot of misses (I got lucky with a Fimbulvter crit - had that not happened, I would've taken at least one more turn on this map). Everyone else picked up experience on the Maelduins and Cyclops. Natasha killed Riev (yay Wind Sword), and Gerik hit S axes on the final turn. Devil Axe OP.

Final - 4+3/152

Stat booster distribution:

Angelic Robe: Cormag, Gerik (mid-chapter)

Energy Ring: Cormag, L'Arachel

Skill Book: Cormag

Speedwings: Joshua

Goddess Icon: Joshua

Dragonshield: Joshua

Part 1: Forde uses Barrier on Cormag, who picks up Gerik and hustles to the boss. I had to do some very careful position on turn 3, to make sure I didn't aggro a Dracozombie. Lyon died to Siegmund x2. Had Marisa pick up the Angelic Robe.

Part 2: Fed the Robe to Gerik (so that he could challenge the boss and live). Had Cormag, L'Arachel, and Natasha, all in a vertical line next to the boss on turn 1 (alas, Cormag couldn't attack because Natasha/L'Arachel had to drop him there). On turn 2, Cormag hit once for 26 damage (a 94% miss was the other "hit"), and dodged the 51% from the boss (HA). Gerik ran up and used Garm on some mook, while L'Arachel used a completely unnecessary Excalibur on the Gwyygli (as those things have four move). Natasha rescued her out of harm's way, and Tana dropped her off. By the end of turn 2, the only ones in range of the boss were Cormag and Gerik. Gerik took the boss attack next turn, but lived to tell about it. On turn 3, I had Cormag smack the boss again for 52 damage, and Gerik finished with 30 damage.

Unit Analysis

L'Arachel: Thank goodness this was normal, and she hit resistance! That's why she could get away with low magic! Her other stats bar HP were beastly.

Tana: The clutch crutch. Bulky enough to absorb hits, and fast enough to double all the way in the end. Couldn't hit the demon king, but it didn't matter.

Natasha: Her low HP/Speed growths doomed her to eternal support, but she did that very well!

Marisa: Her promotions sucked. She was barely competent, but that's all I needed.

Cormag: MVP of the run. Had decent growths, access to a nice beatstick, and a promotion that didn't nerf his movement too much. Murdered most of the enemies with ease.

Gerik: It was painful right up to promotion. Then, I decided to give him axes, which saved the run in the end.

Vanessa: Chip damage is always welcome, but she didn't get enough action.

Joshua: Despite his awful bases, he managed to hang in there, until promotion. Then. . .uh, he was good at rescuing people. Yeah.

Forde: Pure utility, with a side of tickling enemies.

Saleh: Worse bases than Gerik, and awful growths! Benched immediately.

Moulder: Oh man, where do I begin? Completely and utterly outclassed by Vanessa, and SHE didn't get enough screen time!

Orson: Sucked both times he appeared.

OVERALL: That was quite relaxing, and I might steal someone else's set later~! Thanks for everything~!

Chapter 13 (2/81):

Gerik opened up the path by killing the closest knight. Fado rescues ahead Tana and Innes drops her so she is within the bosses range by turn 2. L’arachel went to fight a fighter at the top left on PP2 and Ephraim and Tethys fought the two archers at the bottom. Duessel follows along and ends up getting put to sleep. Saleh does nothing except RNG manipulation. Most enemies chose to attack Tana with a hand axe so she ended up proceeding a few levels.Everyone else gets the experience they can and then Innes weakens SuperRecruit!Aias enough so Tana can land two hits that kills him on EP2.

Chapter 14 (8/89):

I wanted to ensure that Fado makes it to the throne room with Ephraim to seize by the turn Fado reaches the secret shop but Fado is not strong enough nor can he double many enemies when rescuing someone so he needed Innes for backup.

Fado and Innes ran as far as they can on every turn.Tethys opened the first door then Fado opened the other two. Gerik had to rescue Ephraim so he can give him to Innes on turn 2. He and Duessel help clear the enemies that get left behind. Saleh and L’Arachel went treasure hunting but only ended up getting the energy ring and dragonspear as L’Arachel was nearing death to get the 10K by turn 8.

Forde (L’Arachel Replacement) recruits Swordmaster!Dozla (Rennac Replacement) who strangely moved near the cracked wall on EP1. I had to use crazy trade shenanigans to ensure that Fado ended up with the member card before he got too far. Tana promoted into a 7 move Super Journeyman with the Hero’s Crest and ended up building her axe rank on the reinforcements.

I had to wait at a certain point to not aggro the throne room enemies that Fado cannot kill on his own which still allowed Fado to reach the secret shop by turn 8. By the end of turn 6 Ephraim was exactly 8 spaces from the throne. Innes and Tethys ensured that Ephraim could full move towards the throne as a few knights and the boss still remained. Innes had to kill 5 AS Journeyman!Carlyle (swordslayer) with a killer axe (47 hit) since I came unprepared in fighting him but one crit was enough to end him. Fado bought a bunch of killer weapons and Ephraim seized.

Chapter 15 (5/94):

A rescue chain was done to bring Tana down over the desert. L’Arachel, Saleh, and Fado handled Caellach’s area. Duessel handled the pegasus reinforcements with a javelin. Ephraim killed a mercenary, crit-killed the hand axe berserker, and sat at the gate where no one can reach him. Everyone else went down and handled Valter’s group.

Colm shows up with WyvernRider!Franz and Sniper!Syrene and helps fight the remainder of Valter’s group. Franz fetches the master seal and body ring. Innes gets the swiftsole.

I had Tana fight Valter. She had to land 2 killer axe hits on Ranger!Valter (steel bow) with a hit of 51 and crit one of the times to kill him (52 crit) or he ‘ll equip his wyrmslayer.

L’Arachel had to land 3/4 hits with her Hellfang (61 hit) against GreatKnight!Caellach and dodge 2 hits of his fiendcleaver ( 58 hit) that will OHKO her (of course I let my monster fight the guy with the fiendcleaver). After he and the last of the pegasus go down, the chapter ends. I did not get anything else because there is nothing else I needed.

Chapter 9: 6/49

Tana went south, Neimi followed and got a couple of mage kills, the others went west. Dozla carried Eirika forward to recruit Moulder the Boulder Soldier.

Chapter 10: 4/53

Dozla had to drop Tana off first in order to reach the boss. Everyone else self-improved. Also got Kyle the dancer.

Chapter 11: 5/58

Dozla went south, everyone

In order to recruit Innes, Ross had to not die. Luckily, he was only attacked by an eyeball that didn't double him, so he healed the damage off.

Chapter 16 (5/99):

Promoted Ephraim into a 6 move sniper so he can seize easier as he dies if all 3 heroes attack him. Gave Colm the body ring and swiftsoles. Fado got an energy ring to help him kill more things in the front.

Fado rushed to the throne and everyone else cleared his path. Gerik rescues Ephraim prior and hands him to Fado to drop on turn 4. Colm fought as many enemies as he could including the shaman group with some rigging so he can survive. LArachel and Saleh did nothing. Everyone else cleared the way for Fado.

On PP4, Fado (equipped with the killer lance) full moves to the throne and drops Ephraim next to a wall so only two heroes can attack him. Everyone else followed along except Colm who engaged the shaman group at this time. On EP4, the silver axe hero and one of the silver sword heroes attack Ephraim but only one hits. The other hero gets crit-killed by Fado. The divine sage attacks Fado and he barely survives with 1 hp. The bolting sage attacks but misses Fado.

On turn 5, Tana hand axes (21x2 dmg 41 hit) Entombed!Orson and hits once which is just enough for Fado to crit-kill Orson and take back his throne. Everyone else gets the exp they can and Ephraim seizes.

Chapter 17 (3/102):

Colm flew Tana to Lyon to be killed by turn 3. She had to land 2 hand axe hits on the swordmaster in order for her to make it to Lyon (and to also allow the druids to attack Colm). Colm also got a lot of training against all the mages and druids after using pure water. Gerik and Innes fought the heroes at the bottom and got the brave axe. Everyone else either waited or fought the enemies at the top left. Tana had to land both of her hits with Garm (hit 51) on PP3 or Ephraim would die next turn.

Chapter 18 (6/108):

I promote Colm to a 6 move Wyvern Knight as he is close to level 20 and he is the front-liner this chapter. LArachel promotes since shes close to maxing her good stats. Fado stays unpromoted to make use of his 8 move. This would be a possible 5 turn I had more units with 1-2 range as the mogalls have 8 move so they are hard to avoid especially for Gerik. No matter where I send him he will have to move in range of the mogalls to get eggs that ensure the 5 turns. Ive tried different arrangements and it always ends up having either a mogall or an egg left until the sixth turn so I settled for the 6 turn. If only Saleh and LArachel had more movement it would be very possible.

Colm, Tethys, and Tana go right and towards the Ranger boss who only has bows. Tethys with a longbow snipes as many eggs as she can as she moves forward. Colm kills the rightmost gorgon and the boss. Tana handles the eggs on the right. Innes and Duessel handle the bottom. Fado and Gerik handle the top. Ephraim goes up too sniping eggs with LArachel in tow to kill one egg. Saleh did nothing after rescuing and giving LArachel to Ephraim.

Chapter 19 (3/111):

Basically had Colm charge Assassin!Riev (light brand) as Fado torched his path and Innes, Tana, and Gerik cleared his path. Duessel and Tethys got the speedwings and runesword chests (although no one can use the sword yet; Gerik is the closest at B). LArachel fought some knights while Saleh torched Ephraims path so he can kill the brave bow sniper from over the wall. Managed to get all the other brave weapons as well.

Chapter 20 (4/115):

Tethys promotes to a 5 move sniper (over a 4 move ranger) and Fado promotes into a 6 move great knight (over a 4 move paladin). Ephraim got an energy ring, the goddess icon, and the dragonshield to help him survive next chapter and to help kill Morva next chapter.

Morva has max defense and Colm nor Ephraim have an S rank so my only hope is Ephraim and his silver bow or Colm getting Pierce + crit.

Colm rescues Ephraim and drops him in the forest. Riev attacks Ephraim but thankfully he only has an armorslayer. It took me long to figure out that as long as Colm activates Pierce, Morva goes down with the dragonspear. Colm was only level 6 so it took a lot of time to actually activate it. Ephraim kills Riev and Colm clears the way for Ephraim to seize.

Final Chapter (3+2/120):

Tana gets the last energy ring while Colm gets the speedwings. Tana uses pure water and Colm rescues her and drops 3 spaces from Lyon. On turn 3 Colm clears the path and Tana attacks Lyon with a shaky 59 hit with Garm and kills him on EP. I ended up getting the angelic robe but I ended up not using it.

In Part 2, a rescue chain brings Tana in front of Formortiis but it didnt matter since I forgot that he does not attack on the first turn. On the first try Tana crits Formortiis and hits again to kill him. I wanted to give experience to everyone else but I accepted this outcome anyway.

And with that my run is over. 120 turns

Unit Analysis:

Sniper!Ephraim (Eirika Replacement)

EoK1Qy4.png

It was kind of annoying seeing one of the lords stay the lord. He was stuck at 4 move most of the game in a class that cannot melee but thankfully Innes and Fado existed so he can get around relatively quickly. His offense was good but his defense was horrible. He saved the day by longbowing stuff and siezing but he should of had Tethys's movement. Definitely not horrible but definitely not the best lord.

Gwyllgi!Saleh (Seth Replacement)

c3vO8Xt.png

Saleh is cool but his 4 movement hindered his usefulness. Had Innes not showed up next chapter then I probably would have used one of my resets. He pretty much rescued the entire game and then stayed in the back. Most chapters he couldn't do anything as everyone else gets too far besides L'Arachel who he would rescue ahead anyway. He did help in some route chapters and his rescuing was helpful in most chapters. He was the more skillful and defensive of the two wolves.

Hero!innes (Gilliam Replacement)

uSgSnm0.png

The MVP and the "Hero" of most of the run. His movement and combat ability helped immensely in clearing the early chapters and then he was able to clear the way when deemed necessary. His skill was lacking but I made do with it. He definitely saved the run in all he contributed.

Gwyllgii!L'Arachel (Neimi Replacement)

9nH1IGm.png

Was reliable in route chapters and helped speed up the chapter 3 clear. She was stuck at 4 move forever but her combat ability was way better then Saleh overall although she was more frail. Would have been nice if she had 1-2 range but she was helpful regardless.

Sniper!Tethys (Artur Replacement)

uRKdfYi.png

Honestly my worst overall unit. She had 8 move most of the run but her strength and defense were especially lacking. She helped clear the way when she can and was extremely helpful in clearing the chapter 18 eggs. Was the worst of the two snipers but she contributed enough with being a good distraction.

Wyvern Knight!Colm (Ephraim Replacement)

jkCqE8H.png

A savior with his flying ability. It sucks that I gave my angelic robes away when I forgot that he existed but all his other stats were excellent besides luck. He was one of the few units that can take hits and dish them back too and was extremely helpful in the endgame especially against Morva.

Journeyman (3)!Tana (Kyle Replacement)

6TvUZpx.png

The MVP of the middle and endgame. She surpasses Innes in everything but luck and was definitely a huge asset to the team. She killed everything that she can hit and can take hits as well. Her start was annoying with her 4 move but she still was kicking butt regardless.

Great Knight!Fado (Gerik Replacement)

rTTPCe4.png

A very necessary frontline unit for the midgame. His combat ability was okay but his defenses were great for a unit that I needed to rescue Ephraim to the throne or anyone to get across the map faster. Would have been nice if he appeared earlier though.

Recruit (3)!Duessel (Dozla Replacement)

t7pJqfO.png

Another useful 1-2 ranged unit. Usually the forgotten one but still useful to the team. His stats and growths were solid enough for killing enemies in route chapters but otherwise he did little else with his lowish con.

Swordmaster!Gerik (Saleh Replacement)

22cGWp0.png

A swordlocked unit that helped in clearing the way and routing in route chapters. Gerik's awesome but his 1 range hindered him since he was available but he was nice to have around for his rescuing ability and his solid overall stats. He pretty much took Saleh's job early in the game but with more killing and better movement.

Overall my team was pretty solid and no one was completely useless. I forgot that I could have used those resets and that probably may have helped. It was lucky that I got an early unit with 1-2 range and great movement and a flying unit that could ferry in the endgame. I was screwed with the 4 move units and not enough 1-2 range units but I made do with this 120 turn clear.

For my first draft I feel pretty good about my results but I don't think it was the best. I would love to see another randomizer draft especially in the other GBA games but I don't think I'm ready to immediately get back into another draft. I have tried thinking of a balanced randomized draft for the other two for a little while now but for now I will call it a night and think it through.

I'm curious to see what my potential resets are but I'll check on that later.

EDIT: Turns out I took 7 turns on Chapter 11 (the Fog of War in Eirika's Route Split). That means this run took 121 turns instead.

Chapter 9: 15/71

I went Ephraim because I peeked at my pastebin and saw one of my characters replacing Duessel, Ephraim needed more experience compared to Innes, and to see Gheb in all his schmexiness. For this chapter alone this decision was a bad idea. My units are good at taking hits, but not really that good at dealing them.

Chapter 10: 6/77
Despite having base strength, Gerik was able to two shot the Falcoknight boss.

Chapter 11: 8/85
Could've 7-turned, but the flying eyes didn't have enough move to reach me in time

Chapter 12: 8/93
Fun fact, Marisa was Ewan and Ewan was Marisa.

Cip5KqY.pngpu9nVup.pngI39sBrP.pngq7kWE9o.png

N6F1jpH.pnggq3jEGa.pngwput3P2.png

Despite some of their stats and classes, everyone has been of use. Gerik has been great at dealing with the surprisingly numerous flying bosses and Dozla does alright damage due to lots of units not really having resistance; though if it wasn't for that he'd easily be my best unit. I'm pretty sure that Tana is going to be my MVP when this is done, she has actual balanced growths and good ones in the stats that matter.
