Recently though I just finished Shadow Dragon and am working my way through Path of Radiance with FE7 on the way. So I am trying to catch up to as many of the older games as I possibly can. I honestly think the biggest hurdle you'll have with the older FE games is simply finding them for purchase. Both Shadow Dragon and FE7 I was able to find on ebay for reasonable prices I got Shadow Dragon for about 20 and FE7 for about 25. This cheap price is of course just the cartridge without the box. Path of Radiance my friend still had a copy though that she's letting me use as she's been a fan of the franchise forever. Thankfully I still have my Wii and DSlite so I can play all of these. I'm afraid some I'll have to use an emulator for because I know things like FE6 did not have a North American release and I'd really like to play Roy's game but I've found some decently priced Sacred Stones too from buyers with good customer ratings as well so I'll probably go to that after FE7.
