I think Obama answered better on some questions, while McCain answered better on others.

It's pretty much the same questions that were asked last time. And they gave the same answers.

What I got more out of it was how they presented themselves. IMO, McCain spoke to the people like he was speaking to a friend. While I felt Obama was speaking to the people like he was teaching a class, or talking to a business associate.

I'm not gonna say who I think won, because it's really all a matter of opinion.

thats kinda the point, well Obama spoke more professionally and got his point across way better, McCain saw he wasn't winning so he used the Patriotic approach which worked well imo

I dunno if that was his intention, but one of the greatest presidents (FDR) talked to people as if they were people. Like he would talk to them as if he was talking specifically to them. That's what I feel McCain did.

While I feel Obama talks to the American people like any other president does.

Though there were some answers that I will admit I felt Obama answered better than McCain, I feel that more of the issues that I was concerned with, McCain answered better.

IMO.

The only thing McCain answered better were military questions, well I'm going to bed, I see jyshoua is reading so I'll leave this to you till tomorrow

Most of the questions were really just: "Who's policy do you like better?"

And I feel that Obama is like a swinger. It's not that he's any better or worse than McCain, it's just that he oozes charm, and people fall for him like they would Brad Pitt or someone.

Do you still take McSame seriously? He basically supports everything Bush does...

The last 8 years, the Republicans dominated, because they know how the political game works. They never bother with issues, in fact, they would rather Americans never look at the issues, because they get owned their. Most of what they do is with words. They put a negative connotation on words like "socialist", "liberal", and even "elite". They are "patriotic". They make their key words. Al Gore and Kerry didn't know how to play the game. They just said what they where going to do, and they had good ideas. But that was the wrong choice, although Gore actually won anyway, so meh. McSame simply attacks Obama at every turn. As does Palin. They do things like call him "unpatriotic". But things are kind of changing now. Obama has keyed into the game. He's made his key word "change", and boy is it helping him. The accusations the Republicans throw at him are no longer working as well. Unlike before, when you can fudge and lie all you wanted, know that the internet is where it is, when they lie, they are called on it. That is why there are so many Republican Hypocrisy videoes and such going around. Politics is changing, and hopefully for the better.

I believe Obama won. He addressed the issues, and explained points. He did what was important. McSame just attacked him over and over, throwing in a couple "patriotic" speeches here and there.

For example, Obama's Health Care plan is WAY better than McSame's (if that name is annoying, you can tell me to stop, I just love it to pieces). Obama explained it. McCain went up and said, "My healthcare plan is good for Americans. Obama's healthcare plan is totally shitty, and sucks.", then, Obama comes up and says "You know, that was a pack of lies, and your Health Care plan is REALLY bad." McCain comes up and says "Obama's healthcare is shitty. Mine is patriotic." and repeats the same lies from his last statement.

In short, never trust a man who shares a name with a French Fry brand. And when electing a leader, choose the one who, when his life is threatened, can fly away using his ears, as opposed to the one who will attempt to hobble to safety while wheezing.

So pretty much you made this thread to intentionally cause arguments Doom103...?

It really does look that way.

For example, Obama's Health Care plan is WAY better than McSame's (if that name is annoying, you can tell me to stop, I just love it to pieces). Obama explained it. McCain went up and said, "My healthcare plan is good for Americans. How do YOU know what America needs for health care? How do YOU know what Americans need? You live in Canada, you don't know how Americans live, as you don't LIVE in America. You can't go by what people say, you go by experience. Honestly, I fail to even see you able to make a valid argument about what AMERICA NEEDS.

I refuse to even accept your ideas on what America needs until you become an American citizen. Whether I agree with your views or not, you're not an American, so therefore you can't tell Americans what they need. Try reforming your OWN country, not ours.

That whole first debate McCain didn't attack Obama at all.

And even in this debate he didn't attack any more than Obama did.

And if it's not okay for them to attack Obama, then why is it okay for the democrats to be looking for dirt on Palin in alaska?

Wrong. McCain attacked in a very hostile and impolite way, Obama attacked not as much, he defended himself mostly , and Plain is a stupid fuck, when she speaks she get ridiculed and made fun of, not to mention embarrass the republican party

And Meteor

Fact, Poll taken from CNN

32% of american's thought McCain won

65% thought Obama won

3% thought no one won

I think Meteor's right.

And if you really think that Obama hasn't been attacking McCain/Palin at all, and the two of them have been attacking Obama like hungry tigers, then you're an idiot, and I'm done talking to you. Cause I'm open for criticism, I can admit that maybe I'm wrong, but Obama has attacked McCain just as much (if not more) as McCain attacked Obama.

And BTW, Palin has as much experience as Obama. Even if it's not as a senator.

Palin governs over an entire state. She deals with people(actual citizens, no less) on a daily basis. She also, has stood up to big oil companies where other people have not.

The two Senators do nothing but talk to other senators. They don't have to deal with everyday people the way Palin does. She does, and she seems to be doing a good job at keeping them happy.

And I don't even need to go searching for facts. Anyone with their eyes open can see that Obama is attacking McCain. The entire first debate he kept on interrupting McCain while he was speaking to say: "That's not true!" Like a whinny little bitch. Even if it's a lie, he should take it like a man. McCain does.

Also, there was the whole thing with Sarah Palin's daughter. What does her being pregnant have to do with Palin's own polotics? How does that make her any less qualified? Still, the Obama campaign attacked her on that.

Alsaka isn't doing too well, Florida which has the biggest forecloseier problem is doing better off then Alaska, she isn't keeping the poeple happy, I have family there and they say shes a fucking idiot and barely anyone likes her

Who cares if she stood up to oil companies woopdie frieken doo

And no one is talking about her daughter, but now that you mention it, If she can't control a teenager daughter then how can she control a whole country, and who has the American people joe 6 packs, wth is wrong with her

Well McCain refers to Obama as "that one" he was attacking in a hostile manner unlike Obama and Mcain had a look of hate in his eyes when he spoke about Obama, do you want that as your president, a hateful old man.

-Data?

-It actually means a lot. Especially with, oh I dunno, Gas prices being ridic?

-A lot of people were talking about it before. And no one can completely control their kids. Plus, the girl is a teenager, so she's bound to rebel. And, it's the daughter's fault. Not Palins. The daughter is her own person.

-Lol. More opinion. This is the way I see it:

McCain: Stubborn old war hungry man

Obama: Whinny little bitch.

Personally I'd rather deal with the first one, cause they can actually DO something.

you guys are fightin over something that is against their platforms, the whole thing about Obama was that he was a new face unccorupted by these big wigs in washington, Palin threw a wrench in that thing because she is even further removed from washington (both physically and mentaly)

I'd like to point out that McCain complained through the whole damn thing.

"He got more time than me!"

Dude. No way. He said that maybe once. And he said it as a joke. <_<

Plus there was that whole thing that Obama insisted on a rebuttle. That's a pretty dick move to change the rules during the middle of a debate that they both agreed on.
