999sheep999 Posted March 22, 2008 Share Posted March 22, 2008 I used it on Easy and Normal. Once I got to Hard, I was miffed that it wasn't there. I don't find playing without out it difficult. It can be very tedious, but once I accepted that I was going to have to start over many times on certain levels, I kind of liked it better that way. I have to admit, I probably wouldn't bother with Hard mode if not for two things: 1) Upon learning the American version is already dumbed down, I felt ashamed and thought it my patriotic duty to play through without battle saves. kaonohiokala Posted March 23, 2008 Share Posted March 23, 2008 I decided to do a new characters-only play-through, so I used battle saves to ensure that everyone gets at least 4 stats every level up (5 for Micaiah though). Even now, the DB still sucks. I actually got Micaiah to double at level 7!! OMG!! I even got my lv. 7 Eddie to one round archers with a Steel Sword!! OMGWTF!! Leonardo still sucks though... It would have been frustrating as hell. Especially because I'm in college and I don't have a ton of free time. I had classes, work, and studying to put up with too.
