Calculation Errors?

So, I've been working with the children base stat calculations, so I can predict their stats and plan for them. I've found the following formula on this website-

Childs Level 10 + N stats = Class base stats + [Childs absolute base stats + (N x Childs full growth rates); define the value inside these square bracket as C] + {[(Fathers personal stats C; 0 if negative) + (Mothers personal stats C; 0 if negative)] / 4; cannot be higher than (C/10) +2 rounded down}

Where personal stats are current stat minus class base stat

To test the formula, I decided to use Forrest, since he has no weapon in his paralouge, and because Forrest rules. Well, after testing the formula countless times, it never worked for me. I think I may just be doing something wrong. Either that or I'm having a total stupid moment. So, with this in mind, would someone please show me how I'm supposed to do this?

Here are their stats-

-Sakura!Forrest-

Edit: Might want to read the OP first you idiot. (Talking to myself)

Just looking at them, they don't look wrong.

Remind me, what is N in the calculations? If I have that I can double check this for you.

In order to calculate personal stats, you need to subtract class bases from the unit's displayed stats.

Remind me, what is N in the calculations? If I have that I can double check this for you.

The 2nd gen unit having level (10+N), since depending on chapter progress the unit's level is between 10 and 20 unpromoted in his/her paralogue (though later in the game the unit may come with an Offspring Seal, which when used automatically can promote+level him/her up even further, again depending on chapter progress)

let's see

Forrest's absolute base stats:

HP: 8

Str: 5

Mag: 9

Skl: 1

Spd: 4

Lck: 5

Def: 6

Res: 13

Total Growths (with Sakura and Class and Personal)

HP: 50

Str: 22.5

Mag: 67.5

Skl: 50

Spd: 47.5

Lck: 55

Def: 27.5

Res: 52.5

so at Lvl 20, before Inheritance or class, is

HP: 13

Str: 7.25 ->7

Mag: 15.75 -> 15

Skl: 6

Spd: 8.75 -> 8

Lck: 10.5 -> 10

Def: 8.75 -> 8

Res: 18.25 -> 18

taking Aggro Incarnate's 1st statement into consideration we get:

HP: (20-13)/4 = 0.75 -> 0

Str: (12+11-7*2)/4 = 2.25 cap at 2

Mag: (22-15)/4 = 0.75 -> 0

Skl: (15+11-6*2)/4 = 3.5 cap at 2

Spd: (16+21-8*2)/4 = 5.25 cap at 2

Lck: (17+19-10*2)/4 = 4 cap at 3

Def: (14+13-8*2)/4 = 2.75 cap at 2

Res: (19-18)/4 = 0.25 -> 0

so, Forrest should have something like...

HP: 28 (+-0)

Str: 9 (+1)

Mag: 18 (-1)

Skl: 15 (+-0)

Spd: 15 (-1)

Lck: 17 (+1)

Def: 11 (+-0)

Res: 22 (+-0)

parenthesis showing how much theory is over result and assume everything rounds down

overall, pretty accurate. off by 1 sometimes because of rounding most likely. when to round? and always down?
