Randoman
...zombies in media became a lot less popular in that universe than they are in this universe, due to the prevalence of Ghost in that universe. Some alterations in that universe include ghosts being used in Call of Duty games instead of zombies, the game Plants vs. Ghosts reaching mainstream popularity instead of Plants vs. Zombies, and The Living Dead having ghosts as the main threat instead of zombies. Series with ghosts generally portray their weakness as being heat or magnetic disruption, since both in that universe and in this one, ghosts in real life are generally seen in areas with high magnetic activity. By raising heat levels or reducing magnetic levels, magnetic activity decreases and so does ghost activity. In an alternate universe, instead of electricity being the main power source for humans... Dragoncat
Humans never figured out electricity. They still think lightning is fire in the sky. This universe is stuck in a constant medieval times because every time someone almost figures out electricity, the aliens who rule the world from the sky will strike them down with a mysterious death like a heart attack. The aliens don't want humans figuring out electricity because they're afraid they'll get advanced enough to try to rebel against them. Humans call the aliens their gods. Randoman
...people have come up with some really intense ways of playing monopoly, like playing it on motorcycles, playing it while balancing on tightropes, playing it on pogo sticks, and other very strange ways. Although in our universe, such activity is considered to be really weird, in that universe, it's common to do physical activity while doing thinking activities, since humans in that universe have their thinking/strategizing capacity greatly enhanced while doing physical activity. Randoman
...property lines are much more harder to determine, due to buildings in general being made to accommodate human's flying abilities. Cities/town layouts are essentially far more 3D than 2D, with multiple houses being built over each other to make the most out of the land space. Due to this, property lines have a 3rd dimension, in terms of accounting for height lines and those separating one person's property from another. Even having a flying accident and falling down to a house/area that's not yours is considered trespassing, as ridiculous as it sounds. Most people don't press charges for such accidents, but many money grubbing and lawsuit happy people heavily exploit these 3D property lines. It gets really messy when you account for extremists who want to sue airlines companies and airplane pilots for trespassing on their "property lines."
