I dunno what to say. Words. words i was totally gonna use when i was going to play it decent minds think alike Now to get to this update, because i'd feel bad leaving this for tomorrow Spoiler With our hip school uniform, we proceed to go to the directory to meet with Quistis to discuss our field exam. The dorms are in the back, how the hell did he make it to the front? poor Squall Martial arts back flipping is apparently allowed in this military school. As we can see from this white boy that wanted to be like his hero Iron Mike, this is another of our heroes, Zell Dincht. Zell fits the role of the traditional Monk/Black Belt in the series, fighting more with special gloves than any weapon, doing a great number of damage to any foe with the right strength junctions. Zell is just as in disbelief as we are from what it looks. Zell tries to be friendly and offer a handshake to our incredibly social hero... ...with predictable results. Word sure does travel fast. But then again both people involved have pretty big scars on their face to remind everyone they meet. Man, good thing we can just back talk Seifer now. I mean, there's no way he can just show u-WHAAAAAAAAAAAT? I totally didn't see this coming. You can say that again Zell. And here's the local goon squad again. OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH After a bit more chatter, we are prepped up by our Headmaster, Robin Williams I mean, Cid Kramer, the Headmaster of Balamb Garden known more for his kindness and ability to inspire his students. After our prep talk, it's time to get to our location for the mission, to the Bat Mobile! um... With Squall not going for this innuendo, Zell tries to pump himself up. Well thats just rude. OHHHHHHHH Seifer stop, these roasts are too fire. As fire as the cold winter air. We have access to cars in this game. Get used to knowing this, because there's really no point to driving a car in this game. Just give it seven more games and cars might be more pivotal to gameplay. We take the ol' Balamb Mobile to the port town of Balamb so we can hop on the boats to our field exam, where the battle is very real. Starman
Quick part 2 of the update. Spoiler On the boat, we are on our way to our destination to our exam... ...which i don't think we ever knew what we were doing now that i think about it. Grade-A teaching. We meet SeeD member Xu, who will brief us on our mission. Finally. Ah, i see. The city of Dollet has been under attack by the highest of militaristic powers in this world, the Galbadian army, for reasons that are as of now unknown. The city has been evacuated, with the Galbadian army moving to the mountains. And what we have to do is eliminate the Galbadian forces in the city. Which sounds pretty epic considering earlier in the day we were just sparring with out arch-rival and defeated a powerful force of nature. Though my only real issue is why the hell did they tell us now instead of back in Balamb, ya know, the perfect place to possibly brief on what we have to do. But whatever, i'm not a top military school. Didn't you listen to her, you idiot. Man, what a douche. it's getting real close now..... Squall was raised to be a soldier first, so orders are unfortunately orders. No wonder no one likes Seifer. Squall looks out of our ship to get a nice look on where we're going. And i could be leaving pictures and my snarky commentary about the next scene, but it's honestly one of my favorite cutscenes ever, so i'd rather leave a clip Everything about this scene is great, the visuals, the rising tension in this brilliant piece only known as The Landing, Squalls face of determination the closer we come in to the beach. It makes something as little as a field exam, and make it clear to us that this is not just any old exam, this is a real battle. All of it is just beautiful. We crash land on the beach and prepare our assault on Dollet, with group B of Squall, Zell and Seifer.
Mage Knight 404
The best kind of final exam is one when you're sent out to war and grown on the instincts of gunfire, magical explosions, and death, like all good child soldiers. Along with their daily dose of water and sunlight. Great methodology, that SeeD. (but I kid, even I really like the Dollet sequence so I'll let it go)
Starman
On to the assault! Spoiler But before we can really start, i gotta go over Zells limit break, Duel Zell attacks and you have to press these buttons as he attacks IE, he starts his limit by using Punch Rush, and during punch rush you have to press the button combos for either Booya or Heel Drop The main thing is put in enough button combos to use his follow up moves, his first one here being Burning Rave. But i know another way to make use of Zells limit, but we'll get to that soon. But who cares, on to the assault! Group B prepares the raid on the front of Dollet And we are immediately met by two Galbaian troops. As for now, Seifer is on our side, but he's a prick so i didn't assign him to any GF. Since he uses a gunblade like Squall, Squalls R1 trick works for Seifer too. After clearing the start, our top quality leader that didn't fail the SeeD exam three times charges in by himself. Squall and Zell proceed to go after him. Well hopefully with his quality leadership, it's not like we're gonna get jumped a couple of times or anything. Yow! It's an enemy ambush! These Galbadian troops have some good stuff to draw, especially cure. These fights basically amounted to Squall and Zell drawing and Seifer doing the heavy lifting Oh drawing, what would we do without you... Seifer proceeds to charge in. Call me crazy, but maybe making someone like him, a loud mouthed, hot headed rebellious teen who has failed this three times the leader was probably a bad idea. But I don't know, maybe that's just me. Zell tells it like it is Upon entering the city square, we surprisingly get jumped by Galbadian troops Make that troop. I wonder who'll win Totally didn't see this coming. Wow, the first actual good order from Seifer. We proceed to scout the area to see if there's any more soldiers in hiding. Probably not behind the cars Oh no, there were people behind the car! After taking care of the remaining troops in the city, and by that i mean Seifer killing them while Squall and Zell draw, we have eliminated the remaining soldiers.Mission accomplished. Hope he doesn't sprint off again, like the jackass he is. After waiting around for a while, along with Seifer being mean to a dog in the area, we start to hear the familiar noises of war in the background... Stop being so mean to the dog, Seifer. It clearly was not a mistake to make him leader. Edited January 31, 2017 by Trisitei
Starman
Part two of our assault Spoiler After clearing the city of Galbadian troops, our students patiently wait for new orders. As patiently as a young child on a sugar high that is. Clearly a good idea to make him leader. But almost out of plot convenience, the dog starts howling to the sky, signalling something is near. More Galbadians that is They seem to be headed to the outside of town to the mountains to go to a peculiar tower or something up there. Clearly our greatest leader, wanting to do something that's against orders from our superior. It's weird that Zell is the voice of all reason in this, what with his tattoo on his face. But looks can be deceiving i suppose. Even though this is going over our superiors orders, Squall is a soldier first, so Seifers orders are orders Zell clearly doesn't understand the basics of a good rivalry. What a douche. Regardless of better judgment, we pursue the Galbadian troops in the mountains. On the way to the mountains we meet this poor guy who informs us about the Galbadians taking over the tower we saw back in the city. And like any good ol' npc, he then gets attacked by a monster that he just warned us about. A monster that we have to fight. After the immortal tactic of drawing the shit out of this monster, mostly for its cure, can't have too many cures, we kill it and avenge the Dollet soldier. It's almost like we don't care that some guy just died. But that's war i guess Monsters? Puh-lease guysss. It's only a matter of life and death here gawsh. On the way we run into more troops which gives us more time to draw magic. We also come across a new enemy that gives us back the option to draw the scan spell. Though during the battle Seifers health get's brough down low enough so I can demonstrate his limit No Mercy Nothing fancy really, guest party members don't have fancy stuff like main party members. Just some attack that does big damage. Not bad i guess. What are they on about? Seifer is right for once it looks. That's a very different way to see it. After bickering more between Zell and Seifer, Seifer more posessed by his dreams goes to run off. Oh? She looks like a dork. Don't trip. You had one job. This dork is one of our heroes, Selphie Tilmitt Armed with giant nunchaku, she is your first more magic centered character. And she has showed up to give us our new orders it seems. Starman
Things start getting a bit fishy here Spoiler Funny thing about Selphie.. She's the girl we helped around the school back in Balamb. [Insert selfie related joke here] Well... Yeah, he's kind of nuts. Oh you have no idea... Well, what're you gonna do. Jump after him? Whoa chill Well the lady said so. Welp All to shore thats going to shore What a chicken wuss. After we jumped off a cliff, we regroup with Selphie and proceed in the tower Well it needs to be for the job. But while fighting the urge of making a "thats what she said" comment.. Galbadians are freaking out. Wonder whats going on... I'd run from this nut job too. Selphie attempts to relay orders, but Seifer ignores her. Deeper into the tower we go then. Nowhere else to go but up i say To the left we find another drawpoint This time with blind. With no where else to go but up, we take the shaft up to the top of the tower. C'mon Zell. You're being a real kill joy now. We see whats going on at the top Clearly info that wont be important. Our heroes come up, but apparently too late. Power and energy fills the tower to reveal the ultimate weapon. A giant satellite dish! Have mercy! Didn't know the Galbadians wanted to see the game going on this weekend Major Biggs attempts to act tough, but considering his own personal goon wasn't around.. Don't try skedaddling now Seifer doing the one good thing this entire mission. We are now against the second boss, Major Biggs Really not much of a threat. He has the useful esuna spell, which cures you of status ailments. After wailing on him for a bit, his partner Wedge shows up. Poor Wedge Wedge isn't very difficult either. He also has the same basic spells to draw out of him. Though after beating on them for a bit.. The totally unneeded and random tidbit Biggs and Wedge discussed earlier turns out to be needed after all as now we fight the real second boss Elvoret Elvoret is more a big damage sponge if anything with only one real annoying, but easy to manage against move. One thing in this game i find kind of annoying is how sometimes your next GF is inside a boss and you need to draw it out of them Besides our next GF, Elvoret also has the much helpful Double spell, which gives those affected by double to duel cast. Forgot to bring it up against Ifrit, but for bosses we get the really intense and fastpaced theme, Force your way. A very rocking battle music to help heighten the mood against bosses. After beating on him and getting some limits off after what felt like ten minutes , Elvoret has been defeated. Along with netting our new GF, Siren. A more healer oriented GF. After the fight, Selphie finally gets the chance to talk to Seifer AND THE PROM IS TONIGHT With time against us, we race back to the beach. But not without Biggs being the salt lord over here, programming something against our students because he lost. What a baby. I attempted But i like the scene after that chase much better On to our escape Spoiler As soon as we make it out, Biggs thing he was programming gets the jump on us Since violence is always the answer against giant robots, we proceed to fight it The X-ATM092. This giant piece of scrap metal is just an annoyance really. Since it's a robot, lightning is of course its one weakness After attacking( IE Zapping the hell out of it), Zell gives us some wise words and suggest we escape to save time. We need to get back to the ships, so forget this robot. Except it's still moving But Squalls right, getting back to the ships is our top priority. Run Forrest, run. We get into another fight against it as it literally gets the jump on us again. Second verse, same as the first. Gotta go faster This thing is annoyingly persistent. Damn robots. We almost there, just dont jump over us Oh you son of a bitch grrrr Lets limit break this jabroni outta here. Well at least enough for us to make a run for it. Gotta shoo the dog away before he dies on this spider bastard. This thing is getting really annoying. gotta keep running Noooo not the car. This robot is a monster. Noooooooooo so cloooooseee The robot gets close as Dead End is blasting, increasing the tension and potential danger on this thing, And how we might get caught on a dead end with this thing. Selphie and Zell are in the clear, but Squall is still lagging behind with the robot getting oh so closer to our hero. We're probably doomed. But... Quistis comes out of nowhere with the assist on the ships turret, unloading on this mechanical monstrosity. Damn, this lady's great. With Squall now safely in the ship, we take off from Dollet back to Balam. A job well done.

Mage Knight 404
Quistis' single greatest contribution to the team, over in a flash. Now she will stay in your party and do nothing for the rest of the game. (until she starts calling enemies Degenerates with epilepsy) It's strange that Selphie is my favorite character; she's definitely one of the most annoying characters in the game(not the most, that honor goes to a certain "MEANY!!!" character we'll meet in a hot minute), but damn do I love me some of that Full-Cure. Starman
Made it safely back after the exam Spoiler We make it back to Balamb safe and sound and we're oddly met with Seifers goons It's almost like they're friends a posse if you will. Yep it sure is hard being a leader that doesn't ya know Lead. What an odd group of friends. Didn't you see him walk off? You need to check your prescription, Quistis With that, we proceed back to the Balamb mobile to drive safely ba- ............... Sigh Oh well, we're walking back now. As we make our way through town we are accompanied by the really peaceful and relaxing track, Breezy. The perfect song for a port town like Balamb with its soft acoustic guitar. It's also a nice song to help reflect on the stuff we did today from sparring with Seifer, fighting against Ifrit and forcing him to submit to us, and then liberating a city from an army. In the words of the modern day troubadour, O'Shea "Ice Cube" Jackson Sr.: Today was a good day. On our way back we come across another drawpoint with some thunder. But never mind that, what kind of young adventure party would we be if we didn't randomly break into someones house. oh. Looks like this is Zells house. Lets check upstairs to see if theres anything worthwhile. Crap, now i really want to go up there. With not much a reason to stay in Balamb, we leave to head back to Garden. The squad breaks up at the gates to go do their own thing The cure point also has been restored if you're interested in drawing again. Which I am. The heads of the operation are chatting among themselves But forget that, the only real reward for going through this is going to get some of those world famous Balamb Garden hot dogs Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo............................................ Damn it. Oh well, lets turn the other way. But on the way we meet up with Seifer. Theres something both oddly disturbing and kind of inspiring about how hard he wants to follow his dreams. True Holy crap, these shots. They ended this mans whole career But here's the headmaster trying to be the ice for Seifers burns i guess Too late in Squalls case. Here comes the suspicious staff. Don't trust them. Damn, they killed him. RIP Seifer Almasy. Press F to pay respect. But lets get those hot dogs AW SON OF A BITCH. welp Let's head up i guess After getting dog blocked again, we go to listen to how we did during the exam. Starman
Part 2 of the update Spoiler Everyones here it looks Zell, Fujin, Raijin that one dude i saw once, that chick from the town, the token black kid. All the warriors from Balamb. The old classic way, eh? ah well. I like silver haired girls, lets go check in with Fujin. never mind then... One of the creepy dudes come out and informs us the next two students that passed Zell He's so happy. I have a last name, you know. My favorite is when they stomped and snapped their fingers at the same time. We passed guys. Squall, Selphie, Zell, some random guy. Clearly the greatest group. Headmaster Cid gives us words of encouragment. Oh yeah, Selphie really wants to run that Garden Festival. A peppy girl deserves something cheery to do i guess. Top tier advice for some random dude who's name we don't even know. So we know who's not gonna follow Cids advice.. Only cared about my sword, huh mister? *sniff* After that, we are now officially members of Gardens top mercenary force, SeeD. Afterwards we go out back to the second floor to give a speech to our class. And these two dorks are just skipping around in the halls. but they deserve to be happy now i guess. oh no Seifer He might try to ruin our moment. Oh. He lead everyone to applaud for us. Man, he really must be alright deep down inside. We then see how we were graded during the exam We were graded on Conduct, being how fast we escaped from Dollet Judgement, determined by how much time was left on defeating Ifrit, less time the better. Attack, based on how much kills we got during the mission Spirit, based on how much we ran. and Attitude, based on other tidbits we did such as talking to students or telling the dog to flee during the chase or not The highest one can get is an 8, so i say we did pretty alright. We also get a brief glimps on how we get money. We don't get money from battles or the like, but we get paid based on our rank. The higher the rank, the higher we get paid. But theres a better way to raise SeeD rank i'll get into later. The plot advances to later in the day. As we can tell from Selphies snazzy new uniform, we need to get changed into our new SeeD outfits to head to the after party. So yeah, the prom really was today. Starman
With the best of days, it's time to relax and take it easy Spoiler With our snazzy new SeeD uniform, we can now go to our celebration party. This is gonna be great, Squall is the typical pretty boy. He'll probably get all the hot girls. Or we can go for the very real thing of sitting by the side, drinking orange juice out of a champagne glass. At least that's what i'd be doing. Interacting with people? What's that? At least there won't be any loud people nearby. Spoke too soon. Zell tries to socialize with good ol' social Squall here. He even attempts to shake, showing our...friendship i gues. With predictable results. Some people just never change. Zell, respecting Squalls space decides to go off. But then runs into the ever giddy Selphie off screen. Not even an actual believable excuse? C'mon Zell, no need to be so rude to the lady. uh oh, i think she see's us.... Damn it. Well, she is being reasonable. And there really is no point being rude to someone politely asking. And she did say the magic word so.. Her putting such effort into this is pretty.. ..attractive i guess is the word? But while on the side, the night passes on and Squall looks off to enjoy the always beautiful night sky. A heavily coincidental shooting star passed by for him to notice something or someone. Who's this cutie here? Not like she'd give someone like Squall a chance though. oh um... ...not like she's actually looking at him right? oh sh- The mysterious girl comes over to Squall. And gives him a nice compliment. Possibly to balance out the kid who deep down is probably afraid of disfigurement from his scar. Aww shes not so bad so far. One to cut to the chase i see. Well if put it that w- The hell are you doing? ................. After a brief chuckle of this...oddity right here, Squall does what he's good at. Turning people down. Well that was easy enough- Looks like she's not taking no for an answer. Crap Same with the Dollet raid, i could leave screenshots, but i honestly really like this next scene, so i'll leave a vid. It's a nice look into the kind of character Squall is and gives somewhat a look into why he's so distant from people. The pretty sounding track, Waltz for the Moon, plays while we dance with this mysterious girl. That face of utter defeat. Dayni
Ah jeez, already near where I got in this game. Didn't expect it this soon. I'd like to see it as trying super hard to look bad. Thank you very much. Back at the party Spoiler I guess after being turned down, Squall decides to step outside to contemplate things. Probably contemplating all the good stuff that happened today. Today has indeed been a good day. I guess since she's the worry wart, Quistis steps out to talk to him. She tries to break the ice by complementing him. With predictable with resu- Oh crap, he's actually talking back. Maybe Squall figures if he replies, she'll leave. Except she's still there. She still tries to talk to him oooooooo, teacher jealous? C'mon Squall, at least entertain and joke around. ...bruh. Oh well, at least he gave off with hissignature catch phrase. Looks like Squall isn't one for the teacher student dream ...i mean... Since Quistis isn't gonna get much from him, she decides to talk to him like a soldier. As in she orders him to meet up in a "secret area: in the Training Area of the school. Saucy for a military school. I'm not entirely sure if he's being snarky, or he's being genuine. Either way, didn't know Squall, mr emotionaless edge boy here would make me chuckle Guess she wants that leather boy look. Get used to these thought boxes, they're as much of a catchphrase to Squall besides whatever. After getting changed, we proceed to go meet with Quistis. Maybe we can sneak in to get some of those hot- Dogs Damn it. Welp, lets go to the training area then like we were ORDERED TOO gosh. We meet with Quistis and she drops the hard questions. Oh yeah, forgot in this training area they have actual living breathing dinosaurs. Guess the best students just dont get eaten. After another junction tutorial (must be Quistis' idea of..."stimulation"), we proceed inside the training area, where the very ominous and somewhat unsettling Fear starts to play.
Starman
We continue deep into the training center to find the "secret" place Spoiler We head inside this secret area where the students train. And potentially die from things like cannibal plants and dinosaurs. Nothing but the best for SeeDs in training i guess? Speaking of plants, we come across the more common enemy here, the Grat. It gives nice status affect magic to junction to your status resistance. After fighting some more Grats, we make it to the back to find the not so secret area now that i think about it. It's just a hallway behind the training center. Guess Garden staff is just blind. No wonder Cid needs glasses., But this is the most w i figured for a secret area; nothing but love birds.disgusting. But what was it Quistis wanted from Squall? Gee, what an important thing to call us for. But there are actual matters here to discuss. Oh? A part of me is believing she might be doing this to get closer to Squall Nice. What do you think about this info Squall? Dude. c'mon man, she's opening up to you this hard. she practically took you out on a date. it's almost like being raised as a soldier makes you bad at basic interactions. Well, you did have Seifer as a student... This is getting awkward. Quistis pours her heart out even more. That's what i'd question if i had people like Seifer or Squall as students. Ouch That wasn't even funny, that was just generally the rudest thing i've ever really heard. This is also a big reason why people are iffy to Squall. He's so anti... emotion. He'd rather push people away to avoid talking about himself or avoid people talking about their problems because he's just that kind of guy. Though he does have his reasons that we'll see later in the game. Squall continues his showing his beliefs True enough. How.....noble? Being young with an odd mindset is hard to understand. Especially with someone like him. We then get ready to leave after this very this failed date. Edited August 23, 2017 by Trisitei
Starman
Now it's time for us to leave the Training Area Spoiler And leave we did, after that attempted relationship that got it's throat slit and tossed in the ocean Well, after we get into some encounters one that happened nearly right after the other no joke. But on our way out.. Who in the honest hell would come to the training center and not expect to be attacked. Really. Welp, time to play hero. Oh hey, it's the mysterious lady from back in the nurses office. And she knows Quistis' name too? this is..odd. A giant bug? Looks like we have to kill it. And now we have our third boss, Grenaldo and some mooks called Raldos. What with Grenaldo being a giant bug, it's weak to fire by trade. Grenaldo isn't hard at all really Just more annoying as Grenaldo has some moves involving the Raldo's such as picking them up and dropping them on you Or this other move where Grenaldo kicks a Raldo at you. Neither should really be much of a problem. You can take some time to draw from Grenaldo and the Raldo's Namely the Raldo's Protect. With the Raldo's out of the way, Grenaldo really isn't much of a problem anymore. Easy, peasy. With the giant bug from nowhere gone, these weirdly futuristic dudes show up to lead the lady away. No shit. Quistis asking the real questions. But enough on that, let's just get out of here. But Quistis gives some advice to Squall before we go our separate ways. And with that failed date, i can say we can finally call this a day. Oh no. That's nice actually. I bet it's some cozy stuff with a mini fridge or something. It just looks like or last room but slightly bigger But at least that thing on the bottom is a mini fridge...? Or a desktop i dunno, man. You and me both, Squall. Starman
Last where we left our hero, he was resting after his super eventful day Spoiler Nice to see Squall enjoy the comfort of leather gear for sleep Really helps if you're looking to get three hours of sleep due to the comfort But oh well, wonder what we'll do in our new day Our first SeeD mission? Nice. Time to get out and meet the world. But first things first... Get the Weapons Monthly magazine on Squalls desk. Another of the multiple things that FFVIII does different compared to other RPGs is it's weapons. There's no actual weapon shop to exchange and buy your weapons. Instead you need to upgrade your weapons with specific items you get from monsters around the world. You don't need the Weapons Monthly magazines to help you create the weapons, but they do give you recipes needed to upgrade, so its a good idea to pick some up if you can. Now with that out of the way time to report at- The food court. oh boy, personal issues. eh....guess i'll lend an ear to this lady if she has something important to say. We might even get hot dogs. What could possibly go wrong? Oh... OH oh.. well..... maybe we just talked to the wrong lady. lets talk to the other one. .............................. We report in front of Garden like we were supposed to. Gotta wait for Zell to show up. Seemed like the late guy to me and- What the hell is he riding? Spoilers Spoiler It won't Ouch. I don't think he's getting that back. Sounds dum to me bruh. Now that we're done being disciplined by the secret cult of Raiden, now time for Cid to inform us on our mission. Man, these dudes got a secret password and are going around with an owl motif. These guys must be badass. Well then, time to move out. But let's talk to Cid again for something Of course the Genie will give us a magic lamp. For real though, this is a nice item for... certain values i'll get into later. Um... Moving on then... We leave Balamb Garden to catch the train to our first mission.
Shadow Mir
When do you plan to use the magic lamp? Degenerator is nice and all, but personally, I can't think of much else that stands out among Quistis's Blue Magic list.
Augestein
Quistis also has Mighty Guard which is better than Selphie's wall especially so if you are at a very low crisis level. Degenerator which is better than Rapture. Shock Wave Pulsar can break the damage cap so it does 60,000 damage-- which might not be more damage than say... 9999 damage hits from Duel or Renzokuken, but it hits all of the enemies you are fighting. White Wind heals a good deal of your health (doesn't cure statuses like FFVII unfortunately, but it's still pretty useful for being the only other heal move that is AoE). Bad Breath / Acid inflict a ton of status effects. Honestly I'd say that in terms of versatility, Quistis is next to none. Selphie's are to wild and unreliable to deal with. Rinoa's are either too random to rely on or require you to sacrifice control of your character and junctions to work. I'd honestly say she's the most reliable of the three girls to use. But yeah, the boys are better in this one because of how straightforward their limits are. Edited April 3, 2017 by Augestein
Interdimensional Observer
Played through the game once, didn't tackle Ultima, Omega, or the infamous Triple Triad. I did use a guide for all GFs and kept my characters' levels low though. My favorite PCs are Zell and Irvine- the former is smarter and more helpful than you'd think he'd be, and the latter is cool enough. Quistis is third, and Squall is only fourth. My problem with Selphie is not so much her personality as her dress, it is totally unprofessional being too short and casual. If I could choose her formal outfit, I wouldn't have such a problem. Rinoa is just plain bad. Seifer is also bad, but in a different way. That said, I will admit Man with the Machine Gun is a good battle track. Laguna is interesting and I like Spoiler how he and Squall never learn they're father and son.

Soon Just need the right track ;) While we left out heroes, we were on our way to our first mission. Spoiler We head to the Balamb train station to go to our location in Timber. I figured with us being part of this big bad mercenary group we'd be able to get some leeway in fees but what do i know. We hop aboard the train to Timber. It is, but why is Selphie looking so happy staring out the window when we're supposed to be underground. "Oh wowie, this underground tile work is so nifty!" Awww, c'mon Squall. No need to be like that. This girl is too excited to be in trains. Kind of like a certain child... But enough on that. Is there a liquor cabinet there? I need to get my drink onespecially when dealing with these two i mean... We're still just underground Selphie. Girl please. Well, lets check in on Zell. What a big kid. Thanks, fam. I needed this for my rare bread of dog; the Invisidus Rex. Still needed to pay with our own money, which is dumb but whatever. Let's be distant for once. Aww fine then. Wow. Zell is actually knowledgeable in stuff. The tattoo kind of made me think otherwise. [Insert Laugh Track] Selphie suddenly comes in the room with us. I know anxiety is a bitch, but c'mon man. Aww, he cares after all. Was it from the party last night or.. Wait what Oh. Oh they're dead. Welp. That was the FFVII LP guys, thanks for sticking by with me. Except not really. What is this hmmmm?
