DgtlRenegade Posted February 11, 2017 Share Posted February 11, 2017 Is there a discussion about the rarest nat5s in the game somewhere? I've tried googling and can't seem to come up with anything. I've seen the best, but I think its clear that some 5*s are easier to get than others. I already discarded a lucina thinking she was one of the less rare nat5s but apparantly she is very rare. Would love to have a list of the rarest so I don't discard them (I'm sure hectors at the top). Also I'm unbelievably excited for Ephraim... As for rareness, it's more likely you will get a Focus unit because they can be pulled from both the 5* focus group and the regular 5* group, and you have equal chances of pulling from either. Birdy Posted February 11, 2017 Share Posted February 11, 2017 In the Summoning Details, it says: "The appearance rate for Heroes of the same rarity are the same." followed by an example of the focus characters, that if the pull percentage of a focus 5* is 3% and there are 4 focus targets, the chance of getting a specific one is 0,75%. Appearance rate isn't a 3% chance to find a non-focus 5* Hector, or whoever. It's to find a non-focus 5* unit in general. So in that pool you have 38 natural 5* units. .03 / 38 = .000789 or .0789% chance to pull a specific non-focus unit. Focus 5*s have an additional .75% chance to be pulled, as they have an additional 3% chance spread over only 4 units. I think my math is correct, but feel free to fix it if it isn't.
