Steven Tyler
Since I'm near the end of the game (I'm on Chapter 21: Sword of Seals) I'm thinking of using my legendary weapons now. However, is Chapter 21 too soon?
Florete
As long as you don't break any, knock yourself out.
Dr. Tarrasque
As long as you don't break any, knock yourself out. That. Chapter 21's a good place to start using em, probably against Wyvern Lord on tight situations. Chapter 22 would probably need em for just Zephiel. Chapter 23 is easy so you don't really need any there.
Steven Tyler
DAMMIT!!! Speaking of legendary weapons I forgot to get the Legendary Spear! (Damn FAQ not telling me about the Gaiden chapter before Chapter 20.) SHIT!! I won't get to see the true ending. Also, which Legends should I use the Repair Staff on? Dr. Tarrasque
Did you end up in Ilia? Use the repair staff on the weapons you use the most or... Sealed sword is top choice. Durandal is believed to be 2nd best. 3rd Best, I do not know (or care) Edited October 22, 2008 by Boo
VincentASM
I usually start abusing them in Chapter 24 since you fight tons of Mamkutes . I do use them in emergencies beforehand though.
Steven Tyler
Did you end up in Ilia? I . . .got up to "The Liberation of Ilia" but I got to a gaiden chapter and go some Legendary Bow instead of the spear. (I was in Scace again). Dr. Tarrasque
Yeah, Yodel brings the Legendary weapon of the Opposite route you took. If you go Ilia, Yodel brings Miugre the Bow. Go Sacae and Yodel brings Malte the Lance.
Steven Tyler
Fox and Boo, thanks for clearing things up! I got worried for a second. Now, I'm going to take the spear off of his hands before he gets killed.
VincentASM
I think older versions of the translation patch have the Ilia and Sacae chapter names switched around.

Steven Tyler
Not related to the Legendary weapons, but on the Sword of Seals Chapter, should I split my team into two groups?
Camus The Dark Knight
I don't ever really use them before 24, I tend to nuke chapter 24 with all of them.
Dr. Tarrasque
Not related to the Legendary weapons, but on the Sword of Seals Chapter, should I split my team into two groups? On normal mode, I do split up into 2 teams. In hard mode, every1 hits the right while Gonzales gets warped to a the peak around the center of the map to distract enemies. If you go south, paladins appear and if you go east, Wyvern Lords appear. I take the Wyvern lords since there's a decent amount of forests and mountains. I love skipping chapter 21x >_> (but still going to it so I can get the better ending). Edited October 22, 2008 by Boo
Reikken
I use them whenever I need them. Durandal to one-shot wyvern lords in ch 14, one-round some bosses, etc. Armads when I really need Gonzales to hit (it has 10 more hit than an iron axe) and so on. Ercdouken
I normally wait til Chapter 21 to use the legendary weapons.
Kintenbo
I try to use them just on the last chapter, since it's Mamkute city. I sometimes use the Durandal earlier when I need to break that wall in Chapter 11A. (to get to the villages before the Brigands do)
Metal Rabbit
I've used dragon killing weapons in tight situations. If you're not going for a ranked run you can probably get away with using them SOME.
Phoenix Wright
After the fight with Zephiel, that way, you have A LOT more uses...
Admiral "Bull" Halsey
Probably the real final chapter where you face Idoun.
Steven Tyler
Probably the real final chapter where you face Idoun. Yeah. Seriously, it took me only one and an half turns to "slaughter" her ass with the Legendary Weapons. Besides, by getting all the Legendary Weapons, that's the only way you can get the Best Ending. Edit: Correction, by getting Sword of Seals AND the legendary weapons AND NOT killing Idoun with Roy, that's the only way to get the Best Ending.
