My first girlfriend I met at work. She was introduced to me by a coworker who thought we had a lot in common, and we just sorta hit it off. I didn't even kiss her till like our 3rd date. Her idea of a wild night was "I'm wearing red underwear right now ;):

...That one was too tame...

My second girlfriend I met at a house party in college. We got super duper duper fucked up, and woke up naked in the same bed the next morning. Her idea of a tame night was "Lets not drink half a bottle of Jack and do a bunch of drugs before we break out the cuffs and paddles."

...That one was too wild...

My third girlfriend I met via online dating. That one was jusst right.

And that's the girl I married.

This isn't about getting girls - this is about people.  Start by making friends, regardless of gender.

This ^^^^^

If you're having trouble having a conversation, I'd recommend trying to make friends/meet new people so you can carry a conversation with a little more comfort/ease. Of course, there will always be people you'll have a hard time talking to due to a lack of chemistry/authority/etc., but don't let it discourage you.

There's also online dating, and try to put a positive trait that's unique. Saying you like long walks and video games isn't unique, as most guys would say that. Having a certain skill/talent may seem more impressive. But if you're going to do this, just make sure you know social cues and don't try to make someone feel bad if they're feeling it. And be careful of online dating as well, there's:

  • catfishing
  • people that don't know social cues

I have experienced both of these...They're not fun. But it didn't really sour my experience. I still met people, but we're friends now and not dating, but I'm not looking for a relationship atm either, so it worked out.
