Cynthia
So yes, I am aware it's possible to hook your Wiimote to your computer via bluetooth, but the question is, does anyone know if it could cause harm to your Wiimote?

Cynthia
Well I don't really see how it would...what are your concerns, exactly? Well, it's using a device in a way it was not intended, and of course Mircosoft states upon installing the Wiimote, (As I've seen guides to do this) that Windows does not fully support the device, and I'm concerned if I should try it as it may cause potential harm to said device. Smartrutter7 is notable in these areas I believe, perhaps I should ask him? Edited October 30, 2008 by Cynthia
Dr. Tarrasque
Ask here
Cynthia
Well it looks like it's pretty safe, I'm just curious if the add ons work with it, such as the Wii Guitar, as my friend wants to try and get it to work for Frets on Fire. Knife
Wait, you get to use your Wiimote as a mouse on the computer?
Dr. Tarrasque
http://www.wiili.org/index.php/Compatible_...highlight_Frets CTRL + F "Frets". That's apparently a product that works with the software called GlovePIE and it's been tested with the Wii guitar to work with Frets on Fire. Microsoft doesn't support this device by itself i think, i thought you had to download drivers for it... but idk, i haven't done it so i wouldn't know.
