Guest The Binding Blade Posted November 1, 2008 Share Posted November 1, 2008 For some reason, my ips thing is glitched and wont let me hard patch, which im ok with. when i downloaded my rom, which i wont mention my source because of the rules, I unzipped the file and ended up with like 12 different files per game. They each have slightly different names, such as Thracia 776.smc and Thracia 776[something in brackets].smc If i delete one of them, then the game wont work with or without a patch. anyways, why did i end up with 12 different files, and how come soft patching wont work with my snes roms? VincentASM Posted November 1, 2008 Share Posted November 1, 2008 Only the .smc files are actual ROM files. You only need one and you shouldn't have more than two or three of those.
