ufaforwork
So I'm going to Rome and Florence next week for 5 days with my school and I was wandering does anyone have any tips or any good places to go while I'm there? Obviously we already plan to go to the Vatican, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Lucca etc. but any other places like nice stores or restaurants/cafes. Thanks in advance. เล่นคาสิโนบนมือถือ
Anacybele
I went to Rome years ago! My memory on it is a bit fuzzy since it was a while ago, but I'll see what comes to mind here... The Pantheon was pretty cool, I think. So was the Colosseum. I also recall a pretty fountain with horse statues (that might've been at the Pantheon though). And...hmm... I can't remember anything else. Italian food is awesome though, I recommend you get as much as you can there. And we stayed in a really good Holiday Inn Express hotel. Etrurian emperor
The Colosseum was pretty impressive and the Vatican + saint peter Cathedral was beautiful. There's also castle sant Angelo. If you're in a grim mood there's also a church decorated with human bones. For food I recommend plaza Farnese. Its a plaza near the French embassy. You can recognize it easily by a monks statue in the center of the plaza which is surrounded by numerous restaurants.
blah the Prussian
The Victor Emmanuel II monument is a godsend for navigation; you can see it from a good deal of the city, so if your hotel is near it it's quite difficult to get lost. There's also a street in one of the less touristy areas of the city with some amazing fries.
